Ribs at Peng Heong undoubtedly were the highlight, juicy and perfectly grilled. So was the mutton curry, the curry was thick and flavorful.

Traditional Hainanese savory-sweet dark stewing sauce, sweet-spicy starchy gooey curry, spicy hot sloshy curry, and sharper tasting curry that is almost like sambal chili (but wetter).
The char kuey teow tasted below average, slightly too salty and not enough Wok fire!

这家Cendol很有自己的特色,首先料很足,红豆很大颗,Cendol也很肥、很大条,不像KL机器做出来那种细细长长的Cendol 仔细一看,会发觉这里的Cendul颜色比较暗淡,和一般浅青色的Cendol不同,可能原料不同,吃起来很柔软,味道不错 碎冰是用传统机器磨出来的,口感比较粗,可以咬,椰糖的味道不是特别香浓,很冰凉解渴,但味道普通,吃的是古早味

One of their signature is Pork Big Bone. The meat just fell off just like that and the balance of fats and lean meat is just pefect! Loving it.
Now Hiang Kee Chicken Rice started serving their signature Hainanese coffee which tasted light and smooth.
Overall their food is really satisfying, fresh, and yummy!

A nice old school coffee place, with good local coffee. You come here mostly for the vibe, and enjoy simple but nice food.
Beside its toast bread and bun. Their pre-packed nasi-lemak its good too – pulau ketam nasi lemak will suit those prefer spicy while nasi lemak bungkuk is more savory and non-spicy.

First was the Roasted Pork. Although it came in generous quantity with the hint of alcohol scent, the overall taste was not appetizing. Only comfort factor here is the crispy skin but when the pork meat is too thick, the overall texture and taste was bland

This is the Nestle Prawns – unpeeled prawns cooked with nestum. The prawns were huge and fresh. They were so crunchy that I could eat it as a whole without peeling the prawns. This is one of the best dish that night.
Probably there best pandan cake in Malaysia: heavy, flavourful and nice texture. More expensive though at RM 28 (RM 14 for half the size).
The sponge cake layer and jelly like layer complement each other well. The sponge cake was not too dry and the jelly was not too wet or soft, therefore making the cake’s texture blend nicely when biting and chewing. The cake was also not too sweet, it is just to my liking of sweetness.
Long queue for some expensive but tasty pandan cake, something a tourist would do. There are some interesting old abandoned shops nearby.
Taste was general but a bit pricey at rm$7.50 for a bowl of noodle in a Medan Selera.
Regardless of what others say, I'd say Fatman Curry Mee here at Medan Selear Taman Eng Ann is very nice! Tender chicken with lots of Tau Fu Pok, taugeh, and a slice of boiled egg, curry is milky and flavoful for me, I like it.
这间没有风扇酷热的小贩中心,因为食物价廉物美,还是让人不得不光顾。这里出名的陈记薄饼非常大方地用料,特大的薄饼里头除了厚厚的沙葛以外,还有足够份量的腊肠、猪油渣,走重口味大器路线!另外这里的六味清汤也是来客必吃,炎热的下午刚好解渴又清热!

♥ Verdict: The TongMo was quite awesome and suit our tastebud (3 of us agreed on that). I can’t comment more for the reason that I did’t try any of their lauk, so, drop by Kukus if you have chance to judge yourself!
