Compared to similar eateries in the vicinity, Golden Bowl Cafetiam is priced reasonably affordable.
他们家的菜单加入了饭类和西餐,让大家有更多的选择。
I must say that i really like Golden Bowl Cafetiam may it be the one at Batu Lanchang or the one at The Promenade.
These restaurants inherited the traditional pan mee recipe that passed down by their granny. The pan mee served here are home made and insisted to be hand cut rather machine. The taste of the PanMee are flavorful and delicious
Overall the food here, i would say is just average, nothing special to shout about but i like dining here because their food is acceptable, environment is comfortable and service is good.
Every bowl of Pan Mee here is enjoyable thanks to fresh ingredients. You can taste it on your own, the al-dente noodles with unique texture, and coupled with all sorts of ingredients make the Pan Mee a comfort food to have during lunch or dinner.
Here's the location.
This is my second time visiting Yin's Wholefood Manufactory, well the place is still the same, still as comfortable and nice.
My favorite is their Shiro Ramen which is a bowl of noodles with Roasted Pork Belly, Flavoured Half Boiled Egg and Vegetables in Rich Broth. It is serve hot and is tasty. The Broth is not too salty and the the egg is nicely done. A big bowl of noodle like this is enough to make me full and satisfy.
喜欢吃日本餐的朋友们,一定要到The Promenade 的这家Kaze Japanese Restaurant 试试!
Kaze from Icon City has just recently opened an outlet at Promenade.
麻辣香锅是一个驰名且备受追捧的中国料理。
The pot was stir fried with ginger, peanuts, onions and garlic to give it a nice taste. Dried chilies were prominent in our pot as we picked the mild level of spiciness, though it was alright still in the heat produced (Chongqing spiciness should be insanely hot we believe). Overall it was a great pot to enjoy!
Kimchi Stew on the other hand was right on spot in terms of flavour, with handful of ingredients such as tofu, pork slices, Enoki mushroom and cabbage. However, the proportion of rice versus the stew was a bit too much.
Bibimbap is one of the most popular choices at Belly Good, probably due to its wallet-friendly factor. Belly Good's rendition comes with a concoction of julienned greens like Carrots, Cucumber, Mushrooms, Seaweed and topped with a Sunny Side Up, with the quintessential Gochujang sauce for seasoning. The result was an intimate flavor-combination, we recommend enjoying it with the crunchy, refreshing Kim Chi. The Ginseng Chicken Soup on the other hand, was a disappointment. Not that it was weakly seasoned, the flavor did not stand out. It lacked the much sought-after Ginseng element and the soup was rather diluted. The absence of Glutinous Rice left us underwhelmed either. Not everything was great and it turned out that the safer options (or those that would never go wrong) like Bibimbap are always the best bets.
Both dry and soup versions were almost identical, save for the former one was dressed with dark soy sauce. Inderawasih's pork broth carried bold meaty flavor, in which some may find it overly heavy. Each bowl of Koay Teow Th'ng will be served with Fish Balls, Egg, minced Pork and a couple of Shrimps. We disliked the fact that the Egg was overly boiled, we would prefer the whole, runny Egg. Overall, we thought the porky notes were too bold to our liking.
The Koay Teow Soup is served in 3 sizes, namely small (RM 7.50), medium (RM 9), large (RM 10.50) that has egg and prawns added for medium and large size. If you do not mind splurging, consider adding minced pork as it is real delicious.
Wanted to try something different, i ordered their Kim Secret Spaghetti which is made from Korean Kimchi, Seaweed, Onsen Egg, Sesame and Secret Ra-Bokki Sauce, Chicken Cube. The taste of the Kimchi is not bold enough and there is some very light sweet taste to it. It does not really taste like a Kimchi Spaghetti except for the cabbage. I would prefer a really strong sour, salty and umami flavors as well as a sharp acidity taste when it comes to Kimchi but this is not it.
The Roasted Chicken with Herbs carried a sleek sourness and a powerful Chili kick (from Bird's Eye Chilies). For the complimentary sides, we had Potato Salad and Broccoli-Carrot as well as an additional side of their buttered Rice to go with the Chicken. The tender Chicken with appetizing sauce made a great combo with the fragrant Rice
One of the first tenants to open its doors to the public at Mahsuri Promenade is Room 18 but it is not entirely a Hair Salon... part of the place is rented out to 15 Grams Coffee Bar, a snug but cozy space housed within the same lot. Like the name, 15 Grams runs as a Coffee Bar so do not expect the place to have a large menu. It does however, have some cakes and pastries on offer. Seats are limited but there are some seating space right in front of the coffee bar that allows coffee enthusiasts to witness the entire brewing process and perhaps, some exchange of opinions with the barista. Also worth mentioning is the Instagrammable-spot right in front of the glass door, the natural light that floods in offers great backdrop for hipstery photos. A pretty cool place for a cup of Joe but might be a little confined to hang out, especially for big groups. Mahsuri Promande is the new commercial building between D' Piazza Mall and Elit Avenue.
The Crispy Noodles with Dragon Tiger Grouper and Prawns was better as compared to the earlier dish, the gravy was beautifully cooked; when eaten with their Sambal, the combo was amazing
One of their signature dishes- Sesame Oil Chicken was pretty good... tenderly cooked Chicken Thigh topped with crisp Ginger floss; the Sesame Oil flavor was bold and the dish was expertly seasoned. It would be a dish that goes perfectly well with Rice
Over all dining here is nice, service is good but food serving is a bit slow. Food is tasty.
泰夠力 Thai Curry RM17.90 *highly recommended*
店里的环境挺舒服的,有户外和室内座位;很适合也朋友聚会聊天哦!
Dandy Modern Food is a specious and classy restaurant.
I love Hummus very much but i can’t hardly find a good one in Penang, glad to have a big bowl of Hummus here and it taste real good.
Dandy Lamb - Smokey aromatic rice with roasted lamb and tabbouleh salad (about MYR 24). I like the taste of the lamb in this dish.
Are you craving a taste of Japan without breaking the bank? Look no further than Michi-Michi Japanese Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Bayan Lepas at Arena Curve. This hidden gem has recently undergone a complete revamp and is now back with a bang, operated by new management ready to take you on a gastronomic journey like never before.
During my visit, i ordered their Supreme Gyoza Ramen which is made from fresh rich and creamy pork bone broth with michi special made chili served with fresh Japanese ramen, komi tamago, 5 pieces of gyoza big size, seaweed, spring onion, white sesame and sweet peas. This bowl of Supreme Gyoza Ramen is spicy but you can choose the spiciness level of. There are a total of 3 different level of spiciness where level 3 being the most spicy of all, so i choose level 1, to me, level 1 is still spicy. Even though so, i still like this bowl of Supreme Gyoza Ramen, the broth is rich, the noodle is smooth and soft and the gyoza if full with filling inside. A satisfying bowl of Supreme Gyoza Ramen.
Their ramen is cooked without any additional salt or MSG, just like how you get back in Japan.
I like this Black color Charcoal Lao Sha Bao...yummy....
The Promenade is one of the latest dining places in Bayan Baru.
One of my favorite dishes is the steamed glutinous rice 糯米饭. It is certainly not a dish I expected to find in a restaurant. Unlike the more common lor mai kai, this humble dish of lor mai fan is served with only dried shrimps, roasted peanuts, and spring onions. The sticky rice turned out well with firm chewy texture. Steamed glutinous rice RM7.50nett
