The Cheesecake was delicious. I am usually hesistant to indulge in this particular type of cake after lunch because it tends to fill you up fast due to the cheese. This time however, I simply couldnt resist.
One of them is Gula Cakery – originally from Kota Kemuning and famous for their cakes. We wanted something not-too-sweet – so the waiter recommended the Onde-Onde Creperie.
Verdict: The combination of the pastry and spread definitely doesn’t come cheap, I shall let it remains as an occasional treat.
To my surprise, the cream cheese isn’t that overly cloying but done at the right creaminess and consistency. It’s very velvet and melt-in-your-mouth kind of palate. The spring onion could be tad pungent to some people but it’s fine with me and this combo does go really well.
Verdict: Comfy environment, impeccable service, premium ingredients, you get what you paid for. A meal at Beauty in the Pot certainly does not come cheap and I guess it shall remains as an occasional indulgence for me.
Prices are decent for a resto in a mall setting and this is certainly a great Thai option for folks from this part of town.
We finally checked out the biggest and newest Starbucks Reserve in Malaysia! Come in the evenings to avoid the crowd and enjoy the sundown.
Featuring the No. 21 beans, we found it very flat-tasting with a lingering bitter aftertaste. We did enjoy the complimentary chocolate though.
Tacos Supreme, grab it while its hot the crunchy corn tortilla shell indeed crunchy & nice. However the sour cream kinda overwhelmed (for me); should request to cut down (next visit). The meal comes together with Cheesy Nachos and one soft-drinks.
We had Hi-fin Patin - famous for its smooth and sweet texture that makes one ask for seconds, especially when it's steamed with the flavourful broth topped with diced garlic and bird's eye chilli that provided an extra kick to the dish. The 'Siong Tong' or signature clear broth was fragrant, wholesome and has rich flavours that go well with the variety of seafood in the dish. Apart from the signature dish, we also tried some of the other crowd's favourites served at the restaurant.
♥Verdict: If compared with Sushi Mentai, another Japanese chain restaurant with same concept, I definitely prefer the later, at least I got freshly cooked hot food served on my table. Have you been any Sushi Jiro? Share with me your experiences!
♥Verdict: The food was generally decent with rather wallet friendly price tag. All in all, it’s quite a good option if you’re looking for a place for lunch/dinner in the mall.
Overall, we were quite pleased with the croissants. We later found out that Chizu is known for its drinks topped with frothy Japanese cheese. Well, next time perhaps.
Golden Hazelnut (RM6.50) – Croissant topped with choc and crunchy bits, with hazelnut cream filling. We enjoyed this – it was quite indulgent with nice cornflake-ish crunch bits and it wasn’t too sweet.
The burgers are beautifully made fresh upon order where the patty is beautifully marinated and then being pan fried till perfection. They are just just so good where the pork patty is so tender and juicy. It is not just like many pork burgers we tried before.
We enjoyed the Flat White. It exactly met our preference for a white – not acidic, medium-bodied, with lovely velvety chocolatey notes.(Our personal preferences are acidic or floral notes for black coffee, and a darker roast for whites).
Before we moved to the seafood dishes, you must order this "Mongolian Chicken" which I found it to be an interesting dish that me, myself is unable to explain how it tastes! "Same-Same But Different" is the word that I can use to express this dish compare to Butter Chicken. It is really juicy, tasty and yummilicious.
Nasi Biryani Ayam Tanam Set (Comes with Dalcha and Timun Nenas Bawang) (Rm11.50) If you are not a white rice lover, have your briyani rice instead. Have the delicious fluffy briyani rice which is perfectly cooked with ghee and spices with it. They are served with the Ayam Tanam together with the Dalca and Timun Nenas Bawang. I am loving the aromatic spices taste of the briyani rice where the taste are wonderfully enhanced with their curry of course

For an original Nasi Kandar meal comprising of Chicken, Mutton and Cuttlefish to be priced at RM 21.80 , I would say that the prices were very reasonable. The food was good and this place surely lives up to it's reputation.
Was it great? Yea, undoubted. Would I come again? Only if someone else is paying and I haven't washed my hair as trust me, you'll end up smelling like a BBQ yourself after a meal there.
Secret Recipe Sausage (秘制香肠) – Recommend dish, this one has a robust pork flavour to it and tastes like 鲜润肠 “The Premium Chinese New Year Pork Sausage”.
We ordered some meat sliced and a bowl of Braised Pork rice, which is a MUST! After since I left Taiwan, I have always craving for their oily pork rice ! So yummy but sinful xD
Beard Brothers BBQ food is just incredible, the service was superb as well, I am really hoping to see more of it coming up at pop-up cafes and street food outlets in Klang Valley so I can get my hands on it.
Reasons to visit Beard Brothers BBQ: you are not going to find better, more authentic barbecue in Malaysia; it is incredible food – smoky, tender, and moist.

Overall, nice restaurant. Nice food. Bersih. Service pun OK not bad.
Signature Seafood Pot (RM63.20) A pot of seafood packed with assorted fresh seafood ingredients such as Barramundi, tiger prawns, squid, and mussels in a soup base of your choice. It is served in a choice of 4 Thai soup bases, such as Red Tom Yum, Clear Tom Yum, Tom Kha and Ma Nao. Loving their signature red Tom Yum soup.
New feature Thai Jim Jum RM63.20 Sweet is this pot of Thai Jim Jum. Lots of onions, lemongrass and other herbs in chicken broth makes this one a nutritious choice. Sufficient for 2-3 persons, this Thai steamboat comes with a platter of tiger prawns, chicken meat, clams and vegetables. After all the cooking, the super flavourful soup is something you would want to keep some room in your tummy for. Remember also to avail yourself to the three dips that comes together to give it more kick!
Eat Drink Thai is a pork free Thai restaurant and all the food are prepared by 3 different chefs from Thailand. Their signature seafood pot and Jim Jum hotpot are the must try as well as other signature dishes such as Crispy Papaya Salad, Pandan Chicken, Hatyai Fried Chicken, and Pineapple Fried Rice. As a "Thai food junkies", I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The place is clean, food are fresh and good quality, and the service is satisfying too. If you are also a Thai food lover, you can't go wrong with this place. Also, not to forget their affordable lunch sets at just RM8 with a glass of Thai Tea too! I will be back here for sure the next time to try out some other delicious food!
Pork set ~RM 65 (me thinks). It was a set meant for 2 to 3 person. Frankly speaking, I think we may have overestimated us both with this. The set did come with quite a lot of more, even for us who eats a fair bit. Mostly veggie but not that little of meat. The pork were thinly sliced so cooked fast in the boiling soup. The ingredients were quite fresh. We just didn't know how to cook/eat that bowl with an egg and raw minced meat. Nobody offered an explanation so we kinda winged it by mixing it up then throwing it in, bit by bit into the soup. They turned out quite good as the meat was a mix of tendon (me thinks again), julienne carrot, fats and minced pork. Will definitely come back again on a rainy day but not go overboard with the set.
We had selected 2 soups: clear soup (清汤) and tom yam soup(冬炎),The soups are superb! This signature Tom Yam soup is highly recommended
Overall Rating : Food : 4.5/5 Price : 3.5/5 Service : 3.5/5 Ambiance : 3.5/5
The highlight of the evening would be the charcoal grilled Iberico Pork Ribs (RM98 for half slab), that came with housemade barbecue sauce and salad, alongside one of the best sweet potato fries I have had in awhile, so addictive
My Personal Opinion Though their menu is Iberico pork-focussed, their other dishes proved pretty successful too which I found myself enjoying even more. All in all, their Iberico-centred dishes were satisfying and if Iberico pork is your preferred choice of meat, then you may want to check this place out.
