What good here is their Koey Teow Soup, I like their Siew Bak (Roast Pork), and while my wife like their loh bak.
Overall the food taste here is slight sweet base and dear and me realize by looking around most of the customer here is order the dry type noodle. Dear and me will came back here again to evaluate their dry type noodle.
Poached Hor Fun with Fish. – RM7/- This dish is very similar to the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun found in all Tim Sum Place, Basically Hor Fun and Fish Slices poached and topped with soya sauce. Quite enjoyable by itself
Basically food is self serve, with on occasion visitation by a server carrying a tray of a single type of Tim Sum. What available here are similar in terms of verity and taste with HQ, however with subtle difference.
Braised Duck Meat, believe the duck meat must be braised for long as it fully absorb the sauce flavor and the bone easily fall of from bone, it is so soft and delicious.
Great and giant size of American breakfast.
Garden Feel Cafe - serving mixture of Asian and Western breakfast cuisine. You may experience the garden feel here.... British feel indeed.
Texas Fried Chicken has a unique item, its their Jalapeno Bombers
I decided to try their Chicken Supreme Burger and the Jalapeno Bombers. Interesting meal
In the restaurant...I do not see much different with KFC ...haaa!
I love the food here.
very unique design of restaurant
The main dish Duck Breast was nicely grilled on the surface and served with mashed Potatoes and greens... as well as a zesty Orange jam. While the Duck Breast skin has a crackling crisp texture, the inner meat texture was peculiarly mushy. We were expecting a juicy, meaty texture but it was completely opposite. Fortunately, the mashed Potato was nicely done- creamy and perfectly seasoned.
The contemporary design of the shop with classic bak kut teh recipe, this made Lao San Dong outstanding from the rest. Packed with herbs where once sitting at the dinning area of the shop, you can smell the strong aroma is also one of the signatures of Lao San Dong.
There are 3 compelling factors that made us had an enjoyable late dinner here: a) Relatively affordable price for Bak Kut Teh (RM 10/pax) b) Good flavour - Mild herb taste though it was a tad salty. c) A lot of ingredients in the pot of Bak Kut Teh - pick and customize your own without additional cost.
The food here is awesome good!
One of the few Korean restaurants at Butterworth- Da Ohn Da Korean Restaurant is the brand's only branch in Penang (HQ in Ipoh); similar to most Korean restaurants, it offers a wide range of Korean delights including barbecue, Hot Pot, Rice and Noodle dishes. There are however, some uncommonly seen Korean dishes here. Prices seem to be friendlier than most established Korean restaurants in Penang but the interior decor is less-impressive. It looks exactly like an ordinary restaurant in the neighborhood (the only thing Korean about this place is the Korean drama posters adorning the walls). The lack of proper ventilation system makes the place smoky so be prepared to face the smoke odor after a meal here at Da Ohn Da. To find Da Ohn Da Korean restaurant- from Raja Uda, turn into the road opposite to Kwong Wah Primary School. You will find the Korean restaurant on your left shortly.
GuoGuoLe Fish Head Steamboat Raja Uda 锅锅乐鱼头火锅 - You can see this GuoGuoLe Sign Board the road side in Raja Uda Street.
Guoguole Fish Head Steamboat Raja Uda - MAMA put a thumb up for this noodle soup!!
The noodle soup here is very impressive.
Even though Chloe is all about their drinks, surprisingly enough, they serve quite an amazing variety of cakes and all of them tastes amazing to boot!
综合来说，品尝过以上的茶饮和餐点，在味道上以我个人的口味来做标准，还算 OK 的。
On the food, the Onsen Tamago Curry Udon did manage to impress us in some way. It was Japanese Curry but oddly, some Chinese Herbs were added in... the seemingly peculiar combination worked. It made the Japanese Curry less-thicker, more to the soup texture in lieu of saucy thickness. The mock Chicken meat made of Monkey Head Mushroom was a nice addition to the otherwise, flat dish.
Little Spicy Noodle House Raja Uda 小红面屋 - The berry drink is excellence!! I like it very much....
The signature Japanese Mazesoba may seem small in serving but the noodle dish packed great flavors. The home-made noodles possessed a springy texture and topped with various ingredients like minced Meat, Spring Onions, Japanese Long Onion, Seaweed and raw Garlic. The accompanying sauce has an Umami flavor... similar like the Japanese-style noodles. The interesting part of this noodle dish... it comes with small White Rice (Japanese-style Pearl Rice). The usage of the Rice was to mop up all the leftover sauces after the noodles were consumed. The trick- to add a dash of specially concocted Vinegar for the extra spicy-sour experience. This was a dish we thoroughly enjoyed.
