Siew Mai (RM 9.50) Being in a Dim Sum restaurant, nothing is better than enjoying a basket of the siew mai. The siew mai with mushroom is served upon order and they are served hot! Their siew mai comes simply juicy and each bites is perfect to our tastebuds.
The price at Dolly Dim Sum is definitely very much higher than any normal Chinese dim sum restaurant – almost double the amount. Taste wise, it is quite alright considering the fact that this place is a pork free restaurant.
Overall, it was a perfect supper for us. Food was superb and NO service charge and NO GST add an additional bonus to it. But their service is a drawback for me. The staff who took our order has no proper English Knowledge so my sister face difficulties in getting Chutney for her Thosai. According to the staff, the shop is managed by the owner of WTF, Bangsar. I never tried WTF before so after my delicious meal here. I really wish to drop by WTF for a meal.
6pcs Wings Combo comes with the fries and drink. I choose Kimchi Fries between the plain and seaweed and mix option for the wings combo (Soy Garlic and Hot). Chicken Combo was tasty. The chicken was crispy, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Besides that, the fries goes well with the Kimchi powder. Yum!! 6pcs Wings Combo @ RM 20.90
Reasons to visit: a quick healthy bite when in Nu Sentral.
What kind a healthy food you prefer most? I would say a full nutrition that create energy for my daily routine dish. Kurin opens its first outlet in Nu Sentral Mall with a menu of delicious and nutritious poke bowls, salads, soba noodles, sushi donut, sandwiches and pokeritto. Set to be the healthy grab ‘n’ go food brand of choice, customers can expect high quality ingredients, speedy service and healthy eats from as low as RM6.
当我发现这家少油, 甚至是没油, 的健康美食, 我整个就是超开心的!
Mee Siam - MYR12.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR15.05 nett. This Mee Siam tastes as good as my favourite mee siam but is not as sweet, more to savoury. In fact, I prefer mee siam to be more savoury than sweet. Portion is just right for me.
The sambal is fantastics, goes well with everything on the plate. I think the rice is cooked with coconut and pandan flavors.
Likewise, we found the Beef Ham Banh Mi (RM15.90) and Chicken Ham Banh Mi (RM13.90) decent enough. More of the pate spread would have ramped up the sandwiches' overall appeal.
Whether you are opting for the Chicken Ham Bánh Mì (RM13.90) or Beef Ham Bánh Mì (RM15.90), both are generously filled with slow cooked meat slices along with some pate, pickled vegetables, mayo sauce and cilantro. Solid flavours with good balance of savory and sweet with a subtle tang and heat. The sandwich is sufficiently moist with lots of textural components that the classic sandwich is famous for.
It was super duper Birthday celebration at Sushi Zanmai. Delicious Japanese food that never lets me down, good service and be prepared to wait during the peak hours. I guess, it’s the same in all other outlets too.
Thai Basil Chicken with Rice tastes delicious, but a bit spicy in my opinion. Thai Basil Chicken with Rice @ RM 2.09
Godiva’s soft serve ice cream only comes in a cone. The rim of the crisp waffle cone came dipped in chocolate and crunchy praline almonds. Nothing I can say here to describe how good this ice cream is. You should try it if you haven’t do so already.
Dark chocolate was yummy. It tasted supremely chocolate and just melts in the mouth. A treat for chocolate lovers!!
And in here one can find a variety of sashimi here but for me, I came here for their Bara Kaisen Don. Enjoy the delicious dish where the don is packed with the marinated seafood cubes with the sushi rice with it. The dish comes simply delicious and appetizing and I am totally in love with it.
Overall, this Japanese franchise restaurant is quite a decent restaurant. Food is okay, service is okay, ambiance is very beautiful.
Overall, dining here is nice but the staffs customer service skills might need to improve a little.
这小小的餐馆有给我温暖的感觉,食物方面则有好有坏。也许在商场里逛累了,来这里喝个下午茶还可以。
总的来说, 他们家的食物还蛮不错的, 但是那个价格有点高呐~
I love the French Toast and Adzuki Red Bean .. it is really tasty.
We had the Chicken Teriyaki Pasta @ RM24.80. It is an umani combination of pasta, chicken, turkey ham, shimeiji mushroom, leeks and a special teriyaki sauce, topped with nori (seaweed).
Eatropica 在早上8点就已经开始营业,而且还有燕麦、三文治、炒面等等让你当早餐。无论早午晚餐,Eatropica 总有几样会是适合你的胃。
Penne Carbonara – Westerns Set (12 pm – 3 pm) @RM 20 inclusive of ice lemon tea or lemonade drinks Penne Carbonara has got to be one of the delicious comfort foods. Tossed in a creamy sauce with parmesan cheese and turkey ham. The penne was al dente and satisfying.
Those lamb lovers should try the Melting Moroccan Lamb Shank. I think this is a good-value-for-money for RM 36 for this chunky piece of lamb shank. Cooked till fork-tender and juicy in the house made apricot chutney and served with sweet potato mash, one must enjoy the lamb with the smooth and creamy mash that complement the dish to the max.
The prawns were quite alright, definitely not the best I’ve had, but the dory fish fillet is a little soggy. If I have the choice of choosing another fish, I will definitely pick anything other than dory fish.
We had the Ayam penyet paha (flattened chicken thigh RM10.50) which comes with fried tofu, tempeh and fresh local vegetables (cucumber haha!). The crispy chicken has been marinated in Java spices and then deep fried. It was moist and juicy. You can eat it with one of three types of sambal (self-service) depending on the spiciness level that you like.
MYR 21.50 nett for 3-pc combo set. I ate one drumstick - very crispy with strong truffle taste but on the oily side. If you like the smell of truffles, this is worth a try.
The burger is quite good too. It stays in shape even though I cut it in half. We ordered our beef burger medium cooked, hence the pinkish center.
Since everyone’s burger will be different, it is pointless to judge the taste. But I am pretty happy with my beef burger with a medium patty, brioche bun, cheddar cheese, sweet sriracha and ranch sauce. It looked great! As you can see, the patty is thick and tasted fresh because it was made to order.
There are so many flavours that you can choose. It is like walking into a chocolate shop at the airport. So many chocolates that I have a very hard time to pick one. If I can, I would pick each and everyone of them. Finally we decided to go for the Coco Loco – Coconut & Snickers @ RM11.50 (Happy Size) / RM12.50 (Large Size) and the Kit Kat Milkshake @ RM9.80 (Happy Size) / RM10.80 (Large Size).
Overall, Milkshake Factory is worth checking out if you are bored of the same old bubble tea and ice blended coffee. We also liked the colorful decor and cheerful vibe that surrounds it.
