If you're looking for a healthy meat-free Christmas feast, then the 2020 Christmas menu at Beast & Butterflies will surely delight!
It was a satisfying meal and am glad that my friends enjoyed it too. Thank you and compliments to the Chef and team Beast & Butterflies.
At S$38 (US$29), this thing was not cheap. But I saw my teammate ordering this at Ichinoji yesterday and for some reason I couldn’t get the thought of those scallops out of my head, so I came down to give it a try.
I'm really enjoying that restaurants in Singapore are always refreshing their menus with seasonal items because it means foodies like us will always have something new to look forward to every few months.
For the months of July and August 2019, dine at the restaurant and enjoy the following promotions: 10% off any unagi items Unagi Day: 27 July 2019 20% off any unagi items
Food at Dashi Master Marusaya remains traditional Japanese cuisine, focused on soups, stews, and small bites, with the highlight being the house dashi stock. Fresh premium ingredients are used, resulting in dishes that are tasty, hearty, wholesome, and healthy. Portions are sized for communal group dining, and sharing remains encouraged. Prices are pegged at a premium, budget about SGD $50 per person.
We enjoyed our return dining experience at Dashi Master Marusaya, and will be back for more. Those who love hearty Japanese hot pot dining will love Dashi Master Marusaya as well.
Overall, it is great to be back at Dashi Master Marusaya. The food remains impressive and we like the enhanced version of the dashi broth.
Tapas 24 at Robertson Quay was the site of a birthday dinner. We figured, small plates, that would be great!
The Quayside, 60 Robertson Quay, #01-04, Singapore 238252, open Mon to Wed 5pm to 12mn, Thu to Sun 12nn to 12mn
So Tapas,24 has S$35 (US$26) lunch sets on Thursdays and Fridays. And one of the choices available is a single-serving of paella.
A Singapore BBQ dinner at Decker Barbecue is not exactly cheap considering that we were eating outdoors along the pavement. But this is still a prime Robertson Quay Singapore location. We thought that the portion size and food quality justified the pricing. For me, having food barbecued, cooked just right and served to us beats trying to do this at home.

If you’re looking for something to grab-and-go, Stuff’d also serves Impossible Meat options for their Burrito or Kebab which are priced at $9.80 and $8.30 respectively.
The food was mostly great, with a top-notch ambience and service.
Overall, it was a great meal and a nice experience returning to Ten Sushi. The food is always good and their new ramen is just comforting.
I especially enjoyed the Japanese Fresh Oysters (Sakoshi Bay Oysters), Unagi Eel Roll, and Deluxe Ten Assorted Sashimi Deluxe.
Food at Summerlong is modern Mediterranean. Think Greek cuisine, except with a healthy twist. Perhaps too much of a twist, as most dishes are different from what you'd expect of Greek cuisine.
Prices are slightly higher, meaning that dining here is lower value for money, budget about SGD $47 per person.
The lamb souvlaki was lean and loved the fluffy bread with yoghurt spread.
Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice but you can see not much crowd even during the busy dinner period. I decided to visit the restaurant due to the tantalising visuals I saw online but sadly the food served was not up to standards and some items were mediocre. The overall service was ok but most of the time difficult to get attention from the servers so it gets frustrating.
At Amazing Hokkaido, their yakitori is a must, making for great sides to share on the table.
Amazing Hokkaido is proud to announce its brand-new individual seafood hotpot set!
Les Bouchons has a menu that hasn't changed much for years.
I'd recommend steak for Sunday brunch at Les Bouchons anytime, but pick a good day with cooler weather though!
Reasonably priced French staples, hearty servings and friendly service are the big draw at Les Bouchons.
Nice range of Mexican food and drinks in a pleasant setting and happy vibes.
There is a charming vibe around Robertson Quay and a Mexican restaurant like Super Loco Robertson Quay is a nice space for a weekend brunch.
Another must-try, was the Pulled Pork Tortas ($15), with slow-braised pork shoulder, apple slaw, refried beans, and habanero mayo.
You cant’ go wrong with the seafood at Long Beach, and this new outlet is a great addition to Robertson quay if you are in the mood for some seafood.
many of the seafood at Long Beach is fished right out of tanks in front of you, so it’s fresh and sweet.
Long Beach Seafood Restaurant is a Singapore’s leading seafood restaurant and also the Creator of the Original and Best Black Pepper Crab since 1982.

Dining at Mondo Mio is a relaxed affair, where customers can catch the chefs bustling in the open kitchen and enjoy their food and wine in a cozy yet spacious environment.
I have had plenty of Matcha/ Hazenut/Pistachio Tiramisus but most were either too sweet, too creamy or an overdose of the Marsala wine. The “Goldilocks” pistachio Tiramisu here however has the optimal ratio of mascarpone to cheese, of Bailey’s and pistachio, and much like a well concocted cocktail, the notes of each component blends in beautifully without a single clash of flavours.
The food and wines served here are quite affordable. I would foresee myself returning with friends to check out other dishes without burning a hole in my pocket. D.O.P Mozzarella also has a mini corner where they sell retail items imported from Italy.
I don't know the difference between the first try at Shunjuu and this one.
Despite my dislike of mayo, the complimentary lobster salad was pretty delicious.
we love both the bibimen and kimchi chigae here.
we all love the bibimen & the bibimbap too.
it has good ingredients, good serving of kimchi & a bit of belly pork. very nice soup. we enjoyed dinner like always.
This small chain of pizza places has been around for many years now. I wasn't that interested in going given that it looked a little commercialized, but today I was near an outlet and it made for a convenient lunch.
Alt Pizza At The Quayside is still as good as it was. We were extremely please.
Those fries did not taste very truffle-y at all if you asked me.
The food at Boomarang Bistro & Bar consists of classic dishes from Australian, British English, American, and Italian cuisines.
Dabbawalla Curry & Cocktails serve a great combination of food and drinks, a fabulous choice for those who love Indian food.
