At S$38 (US$29), this thing was not cheap. But I saw my teammate ordering this at Ichinoji yesterday and for some reason I couldn’t get the thought of those scallops out of my head, so I came down to give it a try.
I'm really enjoying that restaurants in Singapore are always refreshing their menus with seasonal items because it means foodies like us will always have something new to look forward to every few months.
For the months of July and August 2019, dine at the restaurant and enjoy the following promotions: 10% off any unagi items Unagi Day: 27 July 2019 20% off any unagi items
One of Tokyo's famous Unagi restaurant, Miyagawa Honten with 20 outlets in Japan opens its first Singapore outlet at Roberson Quay.
进入新的一年又增添海鲜、鸡肉、牛肉等更多选项,迎合本地食客口味,让不这么爱吃鳗鱼的食客也能有其他选择。
To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference.
Competition is good! Now we have yet another place to enjoy unagi in Singapore!
Unagiya Ichinoji is opened by Miyagawa Honten, which is one of Tokyo’s most well-known unagi restaurants, with a history spanning 125 years.
The special in-house tare (sweet basting sauce) glazed on your unagi is made with a recipe that spans 4 generations.
The food is ok, palatable, edible, but lacks the WOW factor of Man Man and the obsessive adherence to reproducible formulas at Uya. The winning factor at Unagiya Ichinoji is their price point.
