They don’t take reservations so customers in the know will arrive by 11.45 am to chope a place when they open at 12noon!
I am always in a fix on where to curb my hunger at The Centrepoint ; there were just too many choices at Gastro+ and my simple mind obviou...
Misato certainly served delicious Japanese food and they paid special attention to the cutlery and utensils too. However, it is a little slow. We would still recommend. Therefore, dine when you have the time to spend.

49 Seats is a great place for a cheap and good meal in Orchard Road, especially if you take advantage of the set lunch promotion.
When one doesn’t know what to have for lunch, one could just go online and search on google map for nearby eateries with good reviews. Which...
What’s Buzzing? In conjunction with its 8th anniversary, Beauty in The Pot seeks to thank all ladies who make the brand the success it is today with a special Ladies Promotion. Specially for The La…
The services here are generally good.
We did recognise some of the staff from OneKM Mall there, which lent a nice familiarity to the place.
We ordered seconds of those because they were that good. I was extremely happy with this meal.
Overall, we are delighted to have tried the food at AWADH.
Food at Awadh is North Indian cuisine, focused on the regional speciality of royal Awadhi cuisine. Over 120 spices feature across dishes in the wide-ranging menu, with spices being painstakingly hand ground and blended.
Here's the smashed duck from Dapur Penyet. The meat was moist and easy to debone with a knife and fork. And I loved the little fried tofu. But I really wish that the sambal were spicier. They said that the belacan and mercan versions were the most potent but I was hoping for more.
Granted, there wasn't much meat to pluck off of that pomfret, but it was slightly smoky and went nicely with rice and that slightly sweet dark sauce drizzled on top. The skin was pretty tasty too, but unfortunately most of those bones weren't edible.
Overall, Dapur Penyet serves Indonesian style of comfort food. It is delicious and it will satisfy your Indonesian food cravings. Cheers!
Overall I was pleased with Song Fa Bak Kut Teh’s delivery service.
The Homemade Prawn Roll ($8.50) was pretty decent, juicy, flavourful and scrumptious.
5 reviews of Song Fa Bak Kut Teh "Relatively new branch of Song Fa that I would recommend people to go to instead of the original stall (the one at New Bridge Road). It is much roomier than the New Bridge while still offering same quality (you…
The café chain which originated from Korea is known to be featured in a number of memorable scenes in hit Korean TV dramas Descendants of the Sun and Goblin: The Lonely and Great God.
The food and drinks offered at Dal.komm Cafe was relatively decent but overpriced.
Overall, dal.komm Coffee Singapore was a pleasant place for a coffee and dessert stop after our heavy chicken lunch at Roost, also in Centrepoint.
It’s a place I would bring my foreign friends or even my family to as the healthier mains have lighter flavours that would appeal to the palates of the older generation.
I liked the white bee hoon here too, as it wasn't all watery and came together nicely, especially with a side of chicken on the side too. I'll come back.
Overall, we thought that the chicken at Roost Singapore was not bad. The creativity that went into making so many dishes out of this single item must be applauded. The chicken sushi in particular is a good idea – chicken rice in bite sized portions.
Still, we enjoyed the vibes here and would check in here again for the comforting food and feel, even though we had only their egg tart and milk tea so far.
I'm not sure if this is a common dish in Hong Kong, but the English name certainly got my attention when I saw it at the menu at Honolulu Cafe.
The egg tart is definitely a good reason to visit Honolulu Cafe.
The Dim Sum Place in The Centrepoint is a halal-certified establishment with a rather extensive menu and the dim sum is of good standard.
Chinese New Year dining at Crystal Jade Group of restaurants will commence from 15 January 2020 (all outlets will be closed on 25 Jan 2020 - CNY Day 1).

They have a duck a l'orange. Not on the regular menu. What I disliked about the duck was how heavy the flavour of the herbs were on the skin.
Do drop by to satisfy your wonton mee craving before they close for good on 28 Feb 2021.
Mak's Noodle surprised me with the Abalone and Dumpling Noodle, a dish I would return for infact.
Pratunam is a decently priced Thai noodle and rice shop with several branches around Singapore. The classic Tom Yum Kway Tiao Moo was quite close to Thailand Tom Yum. Just an outstanding dish that …
Their Cafe Latte (S$4.90++) came with an adorable coffee art and packets of sugar at the side. The bitter tones of the coffee helped to balance out the sweetness of the durian pizza.
There are a couple of pizza chains in Singapore but Tino’s Pizza Cafe stood out a little more due to their wonderful pizza dough. There are also reasonably priced set meals and family feasts available at Tino’s Pizza Cafe.
Korean brand Boom Steak has opened at The Centrepoint basement, offering a food-on-cup concept.
The Tsujiri Centrepoint outlet was tiny. The bulk of the place is taken up by the service counter and food preparation area.
I love Souper Tang made sure that you get to enjoy your meal from start to end. From their soups to their main dishes and finally to their desserts, most of the dishes that we had were well executed and the fact that it's packed with a lot of nutritious components make it extra special.
Overall, Souper Tang Singapore is a welcome addition to the Singapore dining scene as its dishes are quite unlike those that are common here, although some of the items that we tried that day to were too salty or oily.
Souper Tang also ha a retail corner at the restaurant selling its own quality products. Customers may purchase pre-packed herbs for soups, floral teas, bottled essence of chicken and bird's nest with white fungus, canned seafood such as abalone, clam and topshell, as well as bottled wild honey, honey vinegar and apple vinegar.
Nothing else here is satisfying and the rice isn’t fluffy. I guess there is a reason why everywhere else was crowded with lunch crowd but not here.
A Japanese restaurant with a partially open-concept dining area, will Tensho Japanese Speciality Tendon be your next go-to Japanese restaurant?
The Poulet folks have opened yet another brand (176 Orchard Road #B1-18, 6334-0617). It's supposed to be a Spanish place, but as the name suggests, they serve roast chicken here too, albeit on top of a small paella pan. These guys must've gotten a huge discount on chickens somewhere.
