Having term as the Best Singapore Banana Pie in Singapore, there is no doubt that they have many returning customers and die-hard fans. Their pies are selling like hot cakes and sold out easily. Do go down early before they get sold out.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a good pie or chocolate tart, be sure to check them out!
You won’t find another bakery with the same pastries they offer, neither will you get the same taste.
Very fragrant and tasty rice, slightly moist and coated with oil, although not too oily. The chicken was standard, tender and soft, with gelatinous skin, although slightly tastless. The chilli was garlicky and spicy – quite nice.
Have you tried the delicious boneless chicken rice in Katong Shopping Centre?
Overall, the portion was indeed generous with add ons like the unlimited flow of homemade soup as well as Achar.

Freebird Katong Shopping Centre (2022)
The Huble Scoop is a small ice cream shop with interesting and delightful local flavours such as Kopi C, Salted Coconut & Gula Melaka and Sugar Cane.
If you are around the Katong area, we definitely recommend coming here for a scoop of nostalgia.
Despite having tried so many curry fish heads, Miki Snacksstill managed to get ahead in my personal list of food places.
Quite average. Quite mushy, although silky, and the sauce was lightly savoury and tasty.
I started patronizing Old Airport Road Hawker Centre only after I secured my driving license back in year 2005 and back then; there were jus...
Whitley Road Big Prawn Noodle at Old Airport Road Hawker Centre and char siew rice from Ah Yee Hong Kong Roasted were the yummy local delights that we ended up eating when we were in the Mountbatten MRT Station vicinity recently.
While the set lunches are decently price, an ala carte meal would be pricey for a cafe. Expect to spend close to $50 per pax for a meal over the weekend.
Service at Cafe Melba, in their Goodman Arts Centre outlet, is good. Staff are proactive and friendly, quickly greeting and seating guests.
Two visits later and I can finally conclude. A nice place to lay back and chill but it’s not a place I say you can keep returning regularly even though it has a nice Aussie vibe. Food wise I say it’s marginal for the price. It was hearty, good for sharing but I was expecting if I’m going to pay that much.
In a single trip, Supernova has turned me into an absolute fan and the same can be said for most people considering the crowd there, even on a weekday afternoon. And with such good food available throughout the day, I definitely have equally high expectations for their dinner menu. Guess there’s only one way to find out!

There is one more dish I have not had the chance to try, the Fried Chicken with French Toast. It was sold out on my second visit, and this dish is at the top of my list. I also wouldn’t mind to check out its dinner menu one day.
I have not tried Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee, but accordingly, to my friends, the gravy is lighter in flavour in comparison.
A reliable lor mee this was. Best to go early in the morning, when the queue was short and manageable.
Wouldn't mind eating this again but I'd like to give the other Tiong Bahru Lor Mee stall a try first.
I can conclude that my first kway chap experience was very pleasant.
This left quite a good impression as this is the cleanest innards that I ever tasted.
Though this food centre is one of the biggest in Singapore, locating the stall is not that difficult, just look for the longest queue and you will most likely find yourself standing in front of the stall. We often saw the snaking line and gave it a pass. Still, our glutton nature won out in the end. We had to find out: why is this kway chap worthy of a 30 minute wait?
Mee pok with minced pork, their concoction of fatty/greasy sauces and chilli paste which made a delicious bowl of smoky savoury noodles.
Roast Paradise is definitely not one of those typical ‘Roasted Delights’ stores that you’d find dotted around Singapore.
The Char Siew is still amongst the best that I had eaten but I could not say the same about their Sio Bak as I actually prefer those from 88 Hong Kong Roast Meat Specialist. The texture of the Char Siew was amazingly soft, this is their signature dish that has left many of their customers smitten.
The cheeseburger had a soft bun and a nice thick coarse grind patty that was slightly charred, smoky, moist and beefy, which paired well with the cheese, raw onions, caramelised onions, pickle and nice tangy sauce. The fries were also good. Very nice burger.
It is nice to see modern concepts by young hawkers such as Blackgoat in our hawker centres. I like the whole charcoal grill concept and it is also great that the team changes its dishes from time to time so that repeated customers get to try something different each time. For myself, I would love to give the cheeseburger a try next.
All in all, it was a good experience new kind of food being introduced into the hawker centre and also supporting the young hawkers.
family-friendly space, cheerful service & good food. Little Rogue Coffee is a breakfast and brunch spot that is worth getting out of bed for
Meet Little Rogue Coffee, a new cafe along Tanjong Katong Road. With a floor space big enough for a playpen in the middle of the cafe for the young ones (closed for now due to the ongoing pandemic), a rack for those with bicycles, and plenty of seats available, you won’t have to worry too much about waiting ages for a table, at least not on weekdays.
Overall, Bruno’s Pizzeria and Grill is like your neighbourhood Italian restaurant.
Other than La Pizzaiola, this will be my choice for a homely feel Italian restaurant in Singapore.
The prawns in my medium-sized bowl above were very fresh and delicate, and I wanted to eat more.
Next time I'm going to splurge on their "jumbo" bowl to see how those bad boys fare.
Thankfully the prawns were fresh and plump, no complaints on that. Ensuring freshness, the prawns were boiled in the stock upon ordering.
This is easily one of the best fried chicken cutlets I had in Singapore. If you are a fan of chicken cutlet, Salt is a must try.
After all, it is not everyday that someone holds your hands to pray for you, after a dreamy and super delicious meal.
Patience is required if you are joining the queue. Overall Feng Ji Kway Chap tasted above standard and the price is relatively on the friendlier side. I won't mind having them again if I do not have to wait for a long time.
This stall is not one of the top rated Kway Chap by most food articles but I actually will return for it. It is very reasonably priced, and the flavour is simple yet very comforting.
Its good that we got a plate of Nam Sing Hokkien Fried Mee after their "Novelty" period in the west as I heard that they have been improvising the version since day one of operation.
Don’t get me wrong, it was a good plate of noodles, but it wouldn’t warrant me travelling all the way to the East and waiting one hour in line for it.
