This bun is a little different from the dirty bun 肮脏包 on the market, the outer part is slightly crispy, the chocolate bread is very soft, the taste of cocoa is strong enough but not bitter. It's worth a try. The bun's name seems to be called Yummy Cocoa.

Of course, I asked for the boat noodles, beef in boat soup (RM1.90)…and to say that I was disappointed the moment it was served would be an understatement. What it lacked in looks was not compensated in taste – it was edible but no, it did not blow me away and no, I would not want another bowl, much less a whole lot more to stack up sky high once I was through. Frankly, I just can’t understand what all that hoo-ha was all about.
A specialty in Sarawak, kolo mee (literally ‘dry’ noodles) is characterised by its springy, al dente texture, and is served tossed in a light sauce instead of dark soy sauce which is more popular in Peninsula Malaysia. They are usually served with a side of soup, and topped with bits of meat, fried onion and spring onion for crunch. The version here did not disappoint, with the right balance of flavours. I especially liked the springiness of the noodles! 🙂
They ordered this dish for their nephew, the butter milk chicken…as he was allergic to pork and it turned out to be very nice and we kept helping ourselves to it
