Reasons to visit Brew & Bread Kota Kemuning: expert coffee roasters; a great place to expand your palate and try different styles of coffee production and beans; must order Nasi Ulam Soft Shell Crab, Ayam Pongteh and the Avocado Toast.
Taste:8/10(Good. Ordered their lemon butter fish which consist of Japanese butter fish, lemonade sauce, herbed potatoes and vegetables. The fish meat is a bit overcooked and slight hard. As for the dessert, the french toast were good).
This weekend, friends and family together to about [Brew & Breads] spend leisurely brunch time it ~ do not forget to carefully try the [Brew & Breads] for you carefully concocted a cup of good coffee yo ~

We went Pun Chun for lunch once in a few years and their Duck Drumstick Mee (Soup) RM9.00 is a must order in the list – serves with duck drumstick, wan tan noodles, and veggies. This is the first time we changed our option from dry into soup duck drumstick mee, but sad to say, this whole masterpiece becomes totally inedible (whole broth tastes like alkaline) which we suspect they’ve ignored the crucial steps of soaking the noodle in cold water (过冷河) beforehand. What’s the point of visiting a restaurant when they can’t even keep their signature dish up to standard? So in our humble opinion, no more next time! 😉
Succulent & Tender Roast Duck Drumstick RM 7.50 (Duck Soup Only) The highlight of the day was, of course, the long-awaited BIDOR Duck Drumstick Noodles Duck Mee. Simply irresistible serving of a big juicy piece of duck drumstick in a double-boiled herbal soup. Pun Chun 7 decades of family's secret recipe is all in this special flavourful herbal broth.
He recommended me on SOUP base instead of the dry version. Original handmade using wanton mee with Pun Chun family's secret recipe, their duck drumstick soup using double boiled with a lot Chinese traditional herbs that you cannot never taste in any place. Owner it's generous with the filling, you will ginger slices, dried wolberries, dried longan, mushrooms, green vegatables, daun bawang, and most important is the big piece of duck drumstick meat.
With three Set Menus for CNY priced from Menu C at RM 468 per table of 4-6 pax. Those dining in a group of 10 can opt for Menu A at RM 768 or Menu B at RM 668 only.
Smoked Standing Chicken, RM68 Hickory smoking wood pungent with strong bacon-flavor strong flavor to the roasted chicken. The meat was remarkably tender and the skin is beautifully crispy and flavoursome. Even without any garnishing, the chicken tastes delicious, the chicken comes with fried fish skin and scramble eggs. The addition of these simple ingredients gives every mouthful an explosive flavour.
Overall, I would say Gather Gather Kitchen is a good place for family dining or special celebration, where you will get lots of choices for reasonably priced Chinese specialities that are exclusive to Gather Gather Kitchen such as their Standing Smoked Chicken, Roast Pork Curry Chee Cheong Fun, 5 Colours EggPlant among others. Please call in early for reservation and make your bookings if you planning to dine here on their busy weekend's crowd.
Verdict: Recommended by a Penangite foodie, I believe the authenticity of the food is there. This place definitely not bad to assuage one’s yearning for Penang street food.
Overall, for my first time over at Gurney Delight Cafe, I would recommend it to any of misses Penang food and would like to satisfy their cravings here. There were lots of other signature Penang dishes on the menu as well, so do check them out the next time you're in the vicinity of Kota Kemuning.
My favourite dish at Gurney Delight is the Asam Laksa (RM5.50), available on Fridays and Saturdays. Spicy, sour and sweet from the prawn paste, the noodles boasted a good texture and didn’t alter the flavour of the soup. Instead of fish shreds, you get large pieces of ikan kembung with your asam laksa here.
The pinchos iberico were our favorites of the day, the skewer was properly marinated and carry a hint of sweetness coupled with the savory taste from iberico pork that were so delicious I wished we had ordered more.
Deli style restaurant serving a selection of porky goodness, including the famed Iberico porkFull review - http://kyspeaks.com/2020/12/18/ky-eats-iberico-por...
The name “abanico” actually refers to the Iberico cut of meat which wraps the ribs. It is a thin piece, marbled with fats, that’s extremely tasty when grilled right – juicy and tender. Chef Eric does this perfectly, with just a sprinkling of sea salt to bring out the natural flavor of the meat. There’s a limited amount available, so be sure to order this signature cut.
Not a bad place, reasonably priced at taste for an all-day Dim Sum location.
This is an all-day Dim Sum place from 7am to 11pm.
Lava Flow Egg Yolk Bun Looking for interesting dishes to try out? The Egg Yolk Bun is crowned as the most special dishes in Jin Xuan. Be careful with the first bite on this yellow bun, it will immediately gush out a piping lava consists of margarine egg yolk sauce that you might not want to miss it. Taste, needless to say, is heavenly.
TBH, I’m not a fan of hot pot but Regalicious Pot proved to be a mind-changing experience. It was love at first sip once I tasted the resto’s flavoursome Regal Golden Chicken and Fish Tripe Broth (RM139.90, additional soup RM49.90).
总的来说我最喜欢的还是泰式肉骨茶,新口味对我来说很有新鲜感,而且平时吃肉骨茶我都总会点辣椒一起吃。
This kopitiam at Kota Kemuning called "宝業小食茶餐馆 Restoran Poh Yap" easily houses maybe 20+ stalls, definitely lots of hawker style food available here.
这道鸳鸯真的很美味。属于广府炒。米粉炸得脆脆,加上粿条,淋上有各种食料的芡汁,一样很开胃。
除此之外,这里也有售卖Coconut Shake 和Mango Shake 哦!
On top of this, the pricing is really cheap too. You can have a satisfying meal at Nasi Kok Kok Ayam within RM 10!
Nasi Kok Kok Ayam 所卖的大部分都是自家制,完全不是随便跟别人拿货的那种。
Kota Kemuning first Japanese Café just opened recently, with aromatic cup of coffee, a great variety of Japanese food, super enjoy the 😋! YES!
Not long ago, our food-hunting adventures have brought my hubby, Uncle Hong and I to Kai's Plato, a seafood restaurant located at Kota Kemuning in Shah Alam. Boasting of being the 1st in Malaysia to serve an amazing scrumptious multi-tier steamed seafood platter with more than 10 varieties of fresh and premium quality seafood at one-go, we were both eager and excited to find out what they have to offer.
This seafood galore initially first embarked at Kota Damansara area- adjacent to Encorp The Strand and next to Cascades, back in February 2015 by a group of partners who are also a self-proclaimed foodies, seafood fans particularly. Together these bunch of lively souls aim to provide a comfortable environment for the local folks to indulge in seafood feast, so much so as they do. Kai’s Seafood Platter Pricing: Sailor Platter (for 2 persons): MYR 138++ Captain Platter (for 4 persons): MYR 270++ Kai’s Jumbo Platter (for 6 persons): MYR 390++
Kai's Plato seafood restaurant has opened a second outlet at Kota Kemuning. They are the first in Malaysia to have the most tiers with more than 11 types of scrumptious fresh seafood in our Kai’s Seafood Platter. Kai’s Plato concept “Hands and Table” was simply to enjoy and eat with our hands as they are the best utensils we have for eating seafood. Sailor Platter (for 2 persons): RM138++ Captain Platter (for 4 persons): RM270++ Kai’s Jumbo Platter (for 6 persons): RM390++
Chicken is not too bad and I must say this is the better chicken rice I have eaten so far (note that I rarely eat Chicken rice)
Shah Alam必吃老字号玻璃叉烧、脆皮黄金烧肉!
Definitely a good location if you enjoy a good porky meal.
I did try their dosa, bihun campur mee goreng, nasi goreng and etc but just tasted average only so I personally wouldn't recommend ordering that.
Right here in my neighbourhood there’s this curry house that has been serving crowds in its modest premises. Serving Chettinad-style mixed with other Southern Indian dishes, food here is displayed in vegetarian and non-vegetarian shelves. Service is brisk and friendly and together with the very decent dishes, so it’s not hard to see why this place has been packing in the crowds.
Our bill came up to RM43.90 for all the above; reasonable considering the amount we ordered. Portions are generous and the food is tasty. Service can be quite disjointed, depending on the staff on duty and time you visit.
What you get here is a very “average” bowl of Penang style loh mee or prawn mee, if you’re in Penang. Translation – since we’re in Klang Valley, that makes it a very good find and one that satisfy my cravings properly. The important ingredients are all there – prawns, mee, meehun, pork slices, 1/4 hard boiled egg, fried shallots, bean sprouts. The loh mee also comes with vinegar + finely chopped raw garlic.
Tough to find a proper good bowl of loh mee in Klang Valley, this version at Shah Alam delivers what I was looking for.
The "咸魚花腩肉碟头饭 Salted Fish Pork Belly", unfortunately cannot find any trance of salted fish anywhere.
李平记云吞面's Char Siew and Chicken Feet was 👍👍😋😋 in my last 2 visit respectively November and December last year.
Simple food at its best, one mushroom, few pieces of choi sum, and two chicken feet, green chilies, and a plate of wan ton mee garnished with few pieces of pork lard.
The Ice White Coffee was good.
