Haven't been here is quite a while, still as busy as ever. As a shopping small restaurant, Jibby is pretty good. Tiger Prawns & Crab pasta is fresh and tasty, Seafood Hot Pot Stew is fresh and nice..
Verdict: I had quite a high expectation on this place but the food we tried were just alright and nothing really worth mentioning. The price certainly on higher side and the portion delivered couldn’t justify the price charged but the environment was great nonetheless.

I will probably enjoy the cake and pastry here more than main meals. Chicken Pie is alright, and burnt cheesecake is satisfying. I like their pastries, so some for takeaway.
Would I head back here? Yea, I would. Food is on the pricier end but I’ve always enjoyed my time at Lisette’s – both of it. If I am in the area, I’d drop by.
Beautiful space with bakes of pure ingredients, breakfast, mains and fresh brews.
The beed slices don came with rice and an egg on top. The taste was ok, nothing spectacular.
I also ordered salmon fried rice at MYR 9++ (MYR 10.44 nett) which I kept most of the rice. So my lunch costs MYR 34.80 nett which is much more than my friend's set lunch so next time it is more prudent to order the set lunch.
Overall makanan Madan Kwan memang tak pernah mengecewakan.
Their portions are huge and so is the price tag that comes with each dish. Anyway, it's the brand name that we're mostly paying for. Their Nasi Bojari was good as always. The rice, Sambal Udang and even their Fried Chicken, all were good and up to my expectations. If you have not tried this dish, I would recommend giving it a try. It's really good and a favourite here. My rating for this dish shall be 9/10.
Nasi Bojari RM29.90 is another signature rice dish which serves with Madam Kwan’s Tri-Coloured Rice with Assam Prawns, Beef Rendang and Chicken Fried Drumstick. After having a mouthful fight with rice, Assam prawn and beef rendang (tastes scrumptious and cleans everything before you even knows) you will surely leave the whole chicken drumstick unscathed at the corner of a plate (which we always did and the main “silat” event).
The Serai Platter was pretty good. I especially loved the asam pedas oxtail. It had a good balance of spicy, tangy, sweet and salty. Pity that there was only one oxtail.
Recommended..
Dining experience here is wonderful with good service, and private rooms, or at the sushi bar. Price wise medium and above but with an extensive Japanese menu choice, there is something for everyone.
People say it use to be good but recently their quality & standard has rolling down the terrain .
Whether you’re a fan of Indonesian cuisine or simply looking for a unique dining experience, give Ole Ole Bali a try; it’s a taste of Bali right here in Subang Jaya.
Here's the location.
This is a very simple and authentic Japanese meal worth taking a detour for.
Hoshino's specialty is its hand-dripped coffee but for the new year, I am sampling the expensive rm$20+ "水果咖啡 Fruit Coffee", at the end, not too sure about Coffee + Orange!
My order: Salmon with Wasabi Cream Sauce Pasta - MYR 25.52++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 29.60 nett which is the price listed on the menu). The pasta is al dente which is what most people prefer while I like softer pasta. The sauce is indeed very, very creamy so before I get satiated, I kept half the pasta for another meal. The slices of salmon are about half a cm thick each so the portion is not that much.
Overall, if you are a meaty lover, you really get to eat lots of meat with Shabu Shabu but I'd think if they offer both Shabu Shabu and BBQ/hot plate would be perfect as then you can get two choices of cooking for the meat.
Next up is the main culprit that makes people keep showing up at Din Tai Fung, Signature Pork Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) RM14.20 aka the soup dumpling. Once biting off the tip, you can clearly see the soup essence inside the dumpling, which is best to serve along with some sliced ginger, soy sauce and vinegar condiments.
The best was still the vegetarian bao and the xiao long bao.
Good Vietnamese food, but a soup noodle easily cost RM 20 plus.
It is only maybe "semi-healthy", I think. But it sure is a Power Drink! But it is not the prettiest think to look at before putting into your mouth. Stil, I like it very much.
Poke bowl
Carbonara was gorgeous, my all-time favourite in Italiannies. The pasta cooks to the perfect al dente and served with pools of luscious sauce. Carbonara @ RM 37.90
For first timers, their Signature Hot Wing flavour is a must try! It tasted good and spicy (though not super spicy) and the portion size with 1 side makes it good value for money. Not surprisingly, the chicken wings were super addictive as well.
Overall, I had a much better dining experience at Chicken Up Subang Jaya and for Korean Fried Chicken, they do get the seal of approval from me :)
In the past, it has been picked by Tan Hsueh Yun, food editor at SPH, as the best tasting Korean Fried Chicken in Singapore from a blind tasting challenge conducted by RazorTV. In this challenge, the editor was asked to try 8 different Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) recipes from 8 different stores in Singapore while she was blindfolded. After describing each of the 8 chicken dish, she was made to choose which one is the BEST, and has picked CHICKEN UP as the Best Korean Fried Chicken! And now, this loved by many Korean chains has arrived onshore at Subang Jaya, to be much nearer to Klang Valley folks here. The chic 3-storey restaurant is located just opposite SS15 Courtyard Mall, making it conveniently accessible and is also near to Subang Jaya newly extended LRT station.
