NBCB started up during the CB (Circuit Breaker) period. They started their very own CB (Cheese Burger) from scratch via their home. With the affirmation given by their home-based customers, they starter the NBCB chain.
Nothing But Cheese Burger (NBCB) 181 Orchard Road #04-23 Orchard Central https://nbcb.com.sg/ DCB (SGD $15.90)
Fresh tasting burger, with a thick moist patty and thick cheese and sauce, but lacking some char.
Overall, the service of the restaurant is great and the staff was very attentive and the atmosphere of the ‘residence estate’ design was very comfortable and relaxing as it really felt like you were dining at a rich friend’s house. The offerings were also great in variety and while some dishes were good and some were just mediocre, it is still a nice place to enjoy a decent buffet
What’s Buzzing? I checked out the latest Sunday brunch buffet offering in town – Grand Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet at Estate, the all-day dining restaurant of Hilton Singapore Orchard.&nbs…
We get to try all kinds of cuisines here and some local favourites too. The desserts are way too pretty and delicate. Kudos to the talented Pastry Chef Cindy Khoo.
Pretty good quality items and some selections which are not found sometimes in Singapore chains.
The best value for money dish was this plate of tempura prawns. Four medium sized prawns for $4.80 was an offer I could not refuse.
Comparing Sushiro to other conveyer belt restaurants at the same price range (Sushi Express, Genki Sushi, etc), Sushiro is much better in terms of quality and range.
This was the premium ebi soba premium Kurobuta loin and Iberico belly, Kuruma shrimp wonton, tiger prawn, sweet corn and spring onion. Premium, savoury and prawny tasting and viscous broth, with tender pork and fresh, springy and sweet prawn. Nice.
It is a bit difficult to make out in the photo since those two splotches on the chashu blur into the brown color of the broth, but the fig compote made it a little sweet, while the balsamic vinegar made it a little tangy.
So this was the crab ramen from Tsuta that I was mentioning last time. The broth was nicely savory and aromatic, and the sour cream was a nice touch, making it better than Hototogisu's version. But I still wouldn't get this next time I'm here; I'd rather go for one of his other bowls.
Pair them with a selection of 10 aromatic premium teas by Gifel Tea or coffee to complete the experience. Guests can select up to two flavours from the list including a specially curated Ginger.Lily house blend.
Overall, the Afternoon Tea experience at Ginger.Lily tick many boxes for me. Good variety, good quality of the offerings and the ambience is comfortable to dine in. A good respite from the Orchard crowd right outside the property.
Although this second outlet of French Fold, together with its neighbouring restaurant Merci Marcel and a lifestyle shop, at Palais Renaissance forms the tripartite where you can shop, eat and drink all day, I would return when I want a light lunch of galette.

Eden Restaurant Pullman Orchard Review: Celebrate Singapore’s History and Local Cuisine This August!
Eden Restaurant has a nice dining spot along the bustling Orchard Road especially with the beautiful interior settings and ambience.
The flavours are quite adventurous for some of the dishes I had at Eden Restaurant, such as the Szechuan T-Bone. Overall, the gorgeous space outshines the food itself for me and if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful dining space in Orchard Road, this is one restaurant to check out.
Overall, in terms of Lobster Roll, I will prefer the toasted brioche bun to have a more buttery fragrance and crispiness.

Burpple Deal for Lobster Rolls! Chunky Lobsters is a kiosk stall in the basement of Bugis Junction. So it might be worth it to try!
Lino Forum Italian Restaurant Review
The first location of Lino at Binjai Park might not be as accessible, and the new Lino Forum is a convenient spot in Orchard Road for a hearty Italian meal.
The patties were medium rare and lightly flavoured – moist, slightly sweet and textural with sweet onion and gristle inside. It was quite tasty, although it was a pity that the patties were lukewarm rather than warm.

TAG Espresso at Takashimaya is a small cafe at Ngee Ann City that we have not seen before this visit, even though we have often been to the popular Orchard Road shopping mall. This hidden cafe serves light food and good coffee. But its best attribute is its remote location. This is a place to hide from the crowds.
The latte was okay, but the teriyaki chicken rice bowl was poor. It was basically a piece of pale white fried chicken with some savouriness and a bit of sauce, and nothing else.
There was a serious yet easy and comfortable Japanese atmosphere in this convivial izakaya, with a friendly Japanese lead hostess, and a Malaysian chef, and a bit of a fusion menu to boot.
This is a friendly little bar up at Orchard Plaza (150 Orchard Road #03-49, 6735-0763).
Bond with family and friends over Soup Restaurant’s classic favorites while forging new memories together! Priced from $78 onwards for 2 to 10 pax, these dine-in sets will be available from now to 30 September 2022.
Overall, the meal at Sushi Kyuu was great with a quite affordable price tag of SGD 129 and there were many different types of sushi I tried which are not easily available in other restaurants.
Is Sushi Kyuu By Shunsui value for money? Relatively so, as the price point is competitive, though there are hits and misses for me. Head here if you are more of a sushi omakase person, and it would not break the bank.

We started nicely with Asparagus, Lily Bulbs and Macadamia Nuts in a crispy basket. The veggies were fresh and the nuts.
The tempura rice bowl was a more interesting choice. Other than the replacement of the udon with rice, we thought that the prawns used for this dish were better than the former.
Overall, my dinner at Tampopo Grand was pleasant with the friendly and helpful staff as well as the delicious dishes served to us. Rather than a premium high end Japanese restaurant, I find that eating at Tampopo Grand has a comforting effect just like dining at your favourite family restaurant with pocket friendly prices and proper Japanese dishes
The minced chicken ball in the oden had a nice varied texture with cartilage, the soup was lightly savoury and comforting, the fish cake was smooth, tender and qq, and the radish was moist and soft. The crab cream croquette was crispy outside and creamy inside, and seriously crabby. The grilled sea bream was tender and moist. The fried chicken karaage was seriously moist, tender and well marinated with I think yuzu salt, and lightly crispy outside. Really nice stuff.
