The flavours are quite adventurous for some of the dishes I had at Eden Restaurant, such as the Szechuan T-Bone. Overall, the gorgeous space outshines the food itself for me and if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful dining space in Orchard Road, this is one restaurant to check out.
There was a serious yet easy and comfortable Japanese atmosphere in this convivial izakaya, with a friendly Japanese lead hostess, and a Malaysian chef, and a bit of a fusion menu to boot.
Orchard Plaza was really an interesting rabbit warren of various Japanese influenced private restaurants/izakayas. A bit atas (or high-class), a bit mysterious and underbelly-like (like Yuta’s blue box), but ultimately serving good and classy food, mostly with alcohol orders expected.
Popular cafe chain from Hong Kong, with good strong coffee.
The tempura rice bowl was a more interesting choice. Other than the replacement of the udon with rice, we thought that the prawns used for this dish were better than the former.
This is a friendly little bar up at Orchard Plaza (150 Orchard Road #03-49, 6735-0763).
The Place Sushi and tempura sound like a perfect combination and Mizuki Japanese restaurant located on level five of Ngee Ann City has the best of both worlds. Opened since 2017 in Singapore, beyon…
NBCB started up during the CB (Circuit Breaker) period. They started their very own CB (Cheese Burger) from scratch via their home. With the affirmation given by their home-based customers, they starter the NBCB chain.
Is Sushi Kyuu By Shunsui value for money? Relatively so, as the price point is competitive, though there are hits and misses for me. Head here if you are more of a sushi omakase person, and it would not break the bank.
The laksa was quite tasty too, but tasted like a cross between spice heavy Sarawak and coconut milky Singapore laksa, with somehow a bit of lemak in the mouthfeel. The fried meat was still good, and the prawns were large, fresh, qq and sweet.
