Recently i notice that Urban Artisan is serving this twin flavor soft serve ice cream, so i decided to go have a try ..
Thai Tea X Japanese Black Sesame (RM 12.90) I love this as it comes with the fragrance of thai tea which is sweeter version with the nice blend of the Japanese Black Sesame. Nicely done and addictively good.
This sister outlet serves proper meals and ice cream-related snacks.
Overall, i like Pik Nik, their food is good, environment is good and service is good too .. !
來到這裡一定要點他們有名的 waffle, 不過我們點的是草莓口味的喔!
店内的用色散发出一种与众不同的格调,这难道就是人们所谓的艺术? 个人觉得墙上的闪电壁画很酷炫,非常有性格!
One of the oldest and famous bakery shops is Continental Bakery which located at Nagore Square.
Asked where to get the best and healthiest buns and you'll get a definitel reply, Continenal Bakery @ Jalan Nagor, Georgetown, Penang. This bakery had been in business for a very long time and their 'healthy' bread can rival even Adventist Bakery (famous for their '7-grains sprouted bread' or '3-seeds sprouted bread')!
Apple Pie (RM 14.50) Apple Pie was something outstanding in terms of the taste due to the vivid layering texture. Apples can be tasted in every layer of the pie, something similar to a crepe texture.
Here's the location.
The environment is good and the parking is plenty as you have to put parking coupons, if not kena summon.
Here comes the champion! Soft, warm brownies topped with homemade salted duck egg ice-cream, caramelized bananas and drizzled with caramel sauce. At first I thought the ice-cream would taste funny but it was THE BOMB! They serve set lunch ranges from RM14.50 to RM20.90, inclusive of soup of the day, main course and beverage. Absolutely worth it!
Here comes their signature ice cream for dessert! Salted duck egg ice cream. Yes, you saw that correctly - it is salted egg ice cream with actual salted duck egg bits! Ice cream is special indeed but I doubt it would not be everyone's preference especially when one is expecting the taste of a real sweet dessert.
Yi Bing Qing is a big name when it comes to steamboat restaurant in Penang, the well-established steamboat restaurant is known to serve some of the best Teo Chew styled Fish Head Hot Pot in town. The signature Fish Head Hot Pot would consist Deep Fried Fish Head and meat in milky broth, Yam, Cabbage and Pork Balls, additional items can be ordered at additional costs. The restaurant is fully air-conditioned but in the event the place is fully occupied, diners may be required to be seated outside (if they are willing to). Advance reservation needs to be made early to avoid disappointment, walk-in as early as possible otherwise.
Caffeine Chemistry Coffee makes the best of waffles. A basic set of regular waffle comes with one scoop of ice cream, sauce, and banana at RM15. You can tweak the set to suit your preferences with the choice of waffle flavor (regular, green tea, chocolate or coffee). The waffle with crispy edges gives way to a warm fluffy interior.
Fish dishes are an incredibly popular item at this restaurant. The classic signature of Little Hunan Spicy Fish Fillet RM58, and the Little Hunan Hot and Sour Fish Fillet RM58 offer diners freshness of seafood elevated with hints of spiciness and slight numbness from chili peppers.
This restaurant is considered a hidden gem as it is under the radar of most visitors to Penang. We count it as one of our favourite Hokkien Mee in Penang due to its robust broth, amazing toppings (the siew yoke is good), generous portion and comfortable dining space.
我们毫无考虑果断地点了鹿角巷著名的红糖Deerioca奶茶,因为它是鹿角巷的招牌饮料。
The fresh ingredients result in smooth, fine drinks with chewy pearls.
Modernist cuisine or Molecular Gastronomy might not be new to the world but it's definitely something to range over, particularly for Penangites. Innovation is a critical element when it comes to a modernist kitchen- not only that the Chef must change the customary way one would prepare and present the dish but the Chef must bring a change to how diners experience the food either. Adventurous eaters can make their way to the small alley at Nagore Square (where all the bars and small little shops located); A.Maze occupies a strategic corner right next to the vacant land; from outside, the restaurant suggests a nary of information on what it is about to serve, inside... there are only 8 seats arranged snugly facing a small kitchen manned by the Chef-Owner Chef Wei. The very young and talented Chef honed his culinary skills from overseas and had had working experience in Michelin-starred restaurants. A.Maze serves "Omakase" which literally means "leave it to the Chef", the menu is not informed to diners and it relies entirely on "trust" but Chef Wei is not a one-trick pony- diners' sense of taste is not the only thing that changes here... the "Omakse" menu switches once a month and it depends on the seasonal offering. Thanks to Chef Wei, we had the opportunity to join him in his extraordinary gastronomical journey.
We always crave for a nice Pad Thai so we had a Pad Ka Prao Set for RM 12. Everything come as what you would have in Thailand - nice Pad Thai noodle texture and decent seasoning. On the side of plate there are chili powder, sugar, peanuts and lemon which you can play around to give the Pad Thai a different degree of taste.
Our Beef Boat Noodles was priced at Rm 9 per bowl but it turned out to be Rm 11. The serving portion was okay with most boxes ticked- noodles were chewy, Beef was plump and tender, the broth was flavorful... but perhaps a little too flavorful that we thought it might be over-seasoned
Likewise, the Tom Yum was also lightly seasoned, the spiciness was weak too. Fortunately, most of the hot pot ingredients were fresh and when cooked together, it did make a contenting hot pot meal.
While we thought the Curry Mee was okay, we did not think it was anything special... pretty much a bowl of standard Penang Curry Mee; though we did agree that they were rather generous with the toppings
The owner Mr. Lim is in his early 30s, taking over the business from his previous boss mid of last year!
If you are there looking for a quick bite on something to fill up your stomach, you can try their Koay Teow Soup.
It was a night of splendor with the luxuriousness of ambiance, service and exquisite scrumptious cuisine.
虽然已经在槟城有稳稳地名誉和口碑了 他们也一直在提升自己,把料理做得更好。
Farquhar Mansion is a fine dining restaurant near Eastern & Oriental Hotel.
Tasty savoury fragrant KL style wanton noodles with tasty plump wantons.
Polo Bun with Butter (菠萝油) – RM4.50, a very typical Hong Kong pastry. The top of the bun was covered with slightly sweet crust while the inner of the bun was stuffed with a piece of creamy butter. In Penang, it is so difficult to get Polo Butter Bun. That is the reason I came to this cafe to try out the bun. It is in fact one of their best-sellers and usually sold out by noon. The top crust was so nice and the bun was soft and warm. Having it with soft and creamy butter was simply satisfying. This bun is perfect when it is served warm.
For the menu, although I thought that the price is wallet-friendly but the choices are limited.
Besides the Teochew-style noodle, you can go all the way through to the Steamed Hor Fun with Groupa Fish Fillet and Roasted Pork with Crispy Noodle.
L Kitchen is a place where it’s suitable for all ages.
Overall, the food here was nice and some of the dishes were unique. However, certain dishes had a sweet ending
