Kampung Nights, E & O Hotel RM198nett per adult, RM118nett per child/senior
Dining here is really nice, the environment is good and the food is tasty too. If you walk out from Sarkies, you can actually see the beautiful sea view just behind E&O hotel.
After a while of MCO, E & O Hotel is backed with the usual unlimited ala-carte and buffet lunch. This round a bit different is the add-in of dim sum series. For those that love to eat dim sum, you don’t need to go far. E & O Sarkies is serving the fresh and delightful dim sum. For my personal preference, I love the har gao (shrimp dumpling) here, where the shrimp inside is bouncy and fresh, the outer coat is thin and soft. It is one of the best in town.
It was a night of splendor with the luxuriousness of ambiance, service and exquisite scrumptious cuisine.
虽然已经在槟城有稳稳地名誉和口碑了 他们也一直在提升自己,把料理做得更好。
Farquhar Mansion is a fine dining restaurant near Eastern & Oriental Hotel.
Farquhar Bar at the E & O Hotel is a sophisticated oasis in the city, offering handcrafted cocktails and delectable finger foods. It's a go-to spot for discerning patrons seeking relaxation and indulgence in a luxurious setting.
Reasons to visit Farquhar’s Bar: a beautiful, stylish setting; excellent wine list; quality cocktails – be sure to try their barrel-aged Negroni; actually, they have an entire page of Negronis – reason enough to visit in itself.
♥Verdict: Anytime is a good time for cocktails! The Farquhar’s Bar team serve a delicious variety of cocktails in extremely decadent surroundings. I’m now imagining myself nestle into the poshy leather sofa and soak in the bar’s air of elegance and old-world charm.
♥Verdict: It’s definitely a lovely evening with great food which scored up to my expectation, impeccable service and enjoyable ambiance. Java Tree might not a regular casual eating place but it is certainly one of the places you should consider when comes to special occasions.

East meets West with culinary aplomb at the new Java Tree restaurant, Eastern & Oriental (E&O) Hotel Penang, making it a notable outpost to dine in.
The Spicy Garlic Prawn and the Marinated Air-dried Beef are the highlights from the menu for us, most probably we love the tingling spicy excitement from the chili used in the seasoning. Best enjoy them with toast to enjoy different dimension of texture while the sauce infused into the toast
他们的主菜有两种选择,分别有三文鱼和牛肉,有沙拉为前菜,红酒为饮料,甜品为晚餐的句点
On the other hand, Grain Fed Beef Fillet Mignon is a dish that let you relish on its texture. It has a well tender texture, and the taste was enhanced by the accompanying sauce. The fillet mignon was best to enjoyed with medium rare texture.
Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang has adapted a new concept - Eat All You Can for their Sunday Penang Delight to replace the conventional buffet serving, which is a casualty due to the ravaging of pandemic Covid-19. The restaurant is filled up with extensive spread of local delight and international cuisine, and you can eat as much as you can for RM 39 nett (adult), RM 35 nett (senior citizen - 60 years old and above) and RM 15 nett (children - 6 to 12 years old).
The highlight of the night is the Roasted US Tom Turkey and Turkey Meat Loaf, which are served with Giblet sauce, rosemary sauce and cranberry sauce. The combination of the appetizing cranberry sauce and the savory giblet sauce really makes the turkey a complex but delicious dish.
The must have for the night definitely is the Roasted U.S. Tom Turkey and Turkey Meat Loaf, which is served along with choice of Giblet sauce, Rosemary sauce and Cranberry Sauce. The big chicken is roasted perfectly, having tender and moist texture.
Palm Court’s Sundowners Tapas promotion is available daily from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Enjoy selected tapas with wine, Prosecco or Taittinger Brut Reserve from RM99 nett onwards.
Tea time at the new Palm Court of Eastern & Oriental Hotel (E&O) Penang harks back to the halcyon days when well-heeled ladies, lovey-dovey couples and even an immaculately garbed gentleman or two gather for a cuppa and light refreshments prior to dinner.
♥Verdict: Although the selection weren’t really extensive, but sufficient to keep your stomach satisfy, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The restaurant's name reflects the fact that it affords 360o views of George Town's city skyline.
Service is good and food serving is fast too. Food serve here gives you a sense of home, where the food comes in set of Rice, Eggs and Soup, those typical sides that you can find in any local home in Penang. This is what makes dining here interesting, in terms of food taste, i would say it is just average but its combination is perfectly paired.
Here's the location.
Priced at RM67.95nett per person, the Afternoon Tea is served from 2pm to 5pm daily at the 1885 restaurant. Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Kuih has earned the prestigious Bib Gourmand status in the 2023 Michelin Guide KL and Penang list.
Moh Teng Pheow Nonya Koay was where we headed for our fix of Nonya Kuehs. Having visited Jason’s Nonya House and still craving for Nonya fare, we found Moh Teng Pheow Nonya Koay a popular venue for koahs such as Kueh Lapis, Kueh Talam and Kueh Bengka.

Roasted chicken Green Curry at about MYR 28.5 where the green curry gravy is served in the very small glass container shown ini the photo.
The name "Tok Tok" originates from the onomatopoeic sound a chef makes while kneading noodle dough with a bamboo pole, a tradition still observed at the entrance of this establishment.
The taste of the wantan mee are almost the same as before despite the chewiness of the noodle not as much and the gravy is more starchy. As for the Char Hor Fun, the taste is packed with wok aroma.

Both Cafe Latte (H) and (I) taste simply delicious. A beautiful combination of coffee and almond milk that packs a punch, delicious and smooth. In addition, what I love about this cafe is that they don't charge extra for Almond Milk. Sounds great right.

Carbonara Smoked Duck – RM28, Smoked Duck Slices, Carbonara Cream, Egg Yolk, Speghetti Parmesan Cheese & Fresh Egg Yolk, Cracked a la minute. Even though this dish is not the signature here, yet the taste of this dish was simply delicious. The fresh eggs yolk made the pasta creamy when mixed together. On the other hand, the taste of the smock duck slices were tender and packed with aroma.
Nevertheless, we are sold and would come back again for their croissant, and to try its other offerings.
That Sunday morning, weather was lovely that after waking up at the cozy bed of Deluxcious Hotel, we immediately retun to Le Petit for another round of visit, haha.

Pitt Street Koay Teow Thng is one of the famous Koay Teow Thng in Penang that has been around for 60years. The original location of this Koay Teow Thng was at Pitt Street. It was moved to the new location at Carnarvon Street a few years back. One of the Specialists of this shop is the fish balls that are made of Eel Fish and the fish balls are homemade. Pitt Street Koay Teow Thng also selling Char Koay Teow now and the taste is promising too.
Koay Teow Th'ng is flat rice noodles, served in soup. It is topped with their homemade Eel Fishballs, pork meat that has been minced and flattened, and we were surprised to find some golden deep-fried Pork Lards in the bowl as well. The noodles were silky smooth, every ingredient is in perfect harmony. The Eel fishball though has a slightly different texture than the usual fishball bounciness, we can taste the delicate sweetness of the eel itself. It is definitely a hearty bowl of delicious Koay Teow Th'ng!
The broth was out of this world. Subtly rich with the extract from the bones.
♥Verdict: Good ambiance and environment. Food wise, I can’t comment much on it since I only tried one dish but it was good, nonetheless.

We enjoyed their Pumpkin and Prawn Rissoto (RM 32) much. The mushy sweet pumpkin blended flawlessly with the rissoto, along with a tad of earthy note introduced by the shimeji mushrooms and handful of herbs rendered the dish appealing.
