If you lived nearby, this is a good eat. Go try some of their offerings.
They have many more stalls to check out. I spotted a bowl of one of my favourite noodles on a good number of tables.
Definitely worth the drive here, and a must-try if you happen to be at Restoran TropiKiri.
Here they served a great variety of crab gravy or flavor you wish to have, just let the chef know whether you want it to be cooked
Overall, we would say the crabs here are pretty fresh and good for the price. And we recommend the superior soup lala as well.
The Hum Sap Crab is one of the signatures here. The crab comes simply fresh and the size comes pretty huge. They come amazingly good with the hint of salted egg and butter in it. They are perfect to enjoy with mantao.
overall an enjoyable plate of noodle.
Pla Neung Manao, 62 ringgit. This was one of their popular/recommended dishes. It was delicious. The fish was fresh, cooked/steamed well. I loved the tom yum gravy that accompanied the fish, it was thicker than the usual tom yum soup I usually taste around here, which was great, it was spicy with a tinge of sweetness to it. Delicious. If I could change one thing – it would be the fish itself – rather than a snapper, perhaps a Tilapia would have made the dish even better. Other than that, this dish was awesome.
Baan Rao is a simple yet classy restaurant that serves Thai food prepared by an all-Thai kitchen team to ensure the authenticity of its food. If you do not visit this neighborhood regularly, you would be surprised to know that Baan Rao actually started off as Thai food stall in the coffee shop just two doors away
5 main dishes for 8 pax. Total bill is MYR 182.55
Steamed Red Tilapia with ginger paste - MYR 18+ (6% GST = MYR 19.10 nett). This Tilapia fish did not have the earthy taste.
We just love to eat the curry vegetable dish (MYR 14 nett for a small portion) here so we are back for more. Roasted pork bean curd claypot (small) at MYR 13 nett.
This Bitter Gourd Noodles were absolutely delicious. In fact, it won't be wrong to say that this is one of the best Bitter Gourd Noodles that I have tasted. The soup itself was so delicious. I was told that it was prepared using some herbs, chicken and anchovies that had been slow boiled for hours. If you're someone who loved bitter gourd, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. 10/10 would be my rating for this dish.
Deluxe RM10.00 Fairly large in portion, it was very affordable considering the luscious ingredients. I opted for bee hoon, but you can choose your preferred noodles from the choice of yellow mee and kuey teow. In my humble opinion, it was one of the best curry noodles I've tasted. I don't like it, I love it!
At Restoran 126 Bittergourd Noodle, the menu is based on recipes that owner Ah Him perfected from his culinary experience from the cooking of great-tasting soup noodles for the past 6 years in the food business.
Let’s see what we ordered for our dinner. We ordered Dog Food, Classic Meatloaf, Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Bacon, Mixed Sausage Platter and Pig in a Blanket. I personally like the Classic Meatloaf and Dog Food. When I heard the name of Dog Food, I am like wow. Sound cool. Actually it is a fries bakes with gravy and cheese. For the Classic Meatloaf it actually is the combination of finely-minced pork and loaf. It is very juicy and tasty!
Please Note: This is a Non-Halal RestaurantDropped by Betty’s Midwest Kitchen at Aman Suria and Dataran Prima for an early dinner with the family. I’ve been...
Bottom Line: As someone who’s had Midwestern food for 4 years straight, I can vouch for the authenticity of Betty’s Midwest Kitchen’s food. With how long it’s been run, it would be a pity to see the diner come to a close when Kevin decides to retire. However, not every small business is built with the purpose of expanding or chasing profits, and Betty’s Midwest Kitchen is is an example of that.
Char Siew Wan Tan Mee (big), 9.50 ringgit. Between the noodles and the rice, I thought the noodles were better. It was gooood, delicious. The noodles here are slightly thinner than usual, springy. The char siew was tender and juicy, provided the noodles with a lil sweetness. It was good, I’d give this dish a go again.
4-Star (out of 5). Famous Seremban Favourites have one of the best char siew that I have ever tasted. Nice contrast of light crisp and juicy soft textures. Delicate, perfect balance of savoury, sweet and natural porky flavours. This is the first time that I've ever used the "P" word to describe food in my blog.
Be prepared to wait for at least 15 minutes to 20 minutes during lunch time as the restaurant will be very packed. You might even have a hard time catching a staff to take your order or paying for your food!
Would I come back? Maybe, just not on days when their crew is running at a bare minimum and live band playing.
If not this huge seafood tomyum pot? Then go for the popular pink soup. Yen Ta Fo (RM 39) represent hot pot with fishballs and tofu pieces and is another dish perfect for anyone who loves hot pot.
Rama’s Beloved Fried Donut Prawns (Tod Man Gong) (RM 18.90) Something NEW ! And this dish is sinfully good. The prawn donuts are made from the fresh minced meat together with prawns. It brings you with the crunchy bites of meat and inside moist, juicy and flavourful texture.
Ginger Wine Lala Soup with Noodles (RM 13) For fans of ginger, you will definitely love every mouthful of this. The hint of ginger are so good that I am totally indulged with it. I am loving the hint of ginger and they are well paired with the noodles itself.
Kenny’s Food Cart has been around since 1993 when Kenny’s father used to run the stall selling porridge at Alisan Road in Petaling Jaya. A few years ago, Kenny moved to their own restaurant at Kenny’s Food Cart in Aman Suria. Kenny continues the legacy with a new restaurant and a new business partner. After just months opening the restaurant, Ho Chak! a popular food TV program featured Kenny’s Food Cart on 8TV Malaysia. There were also many bloggers and friends gave good reviews on this restaurant.
Cantonese Style Loh See Fun, 8.50 ringgit Ooooo yum! Another yummy dish. I cant say I’ve had this particular dish with this thick of a noodle before. Yes, the noodles are usually short and thick but the ones here were thicker. I liked it, different but niceeee. The dish also came with minced meat, chicken, fried onions, spring onions, egg and etc. The soupy gravy was da bomb. The distinct taste of Chinese wine was more evident here – pleasant and not overwhelming. Yummy.
Just loves the complimenting veggies like Crunchy Beans and Firm Spongy Oyster Mushrooms that absorbed the soup.
这里的服务员都是泰国人,有时候难免会有语言沟通的问题。但是感觉很道地,食物选择多而且水准都不错,可惜对我来说太远了,要不然真的可以常来呢~
9/10 Stars.. Price: Reasonable Services: Good & Friendly Environment: Cozy & Homey Food Type: Thai Cuisine Status: NON-Halal
If you are staying at Aman Suria and craving for some good food, you must visit District 13 by 缔. This is truly a hidden gem at Aman Suria.
It is one of the café which surprises me with their awesome food and beverage. Located in Aman Suria, District 13 is one of the café which is worth to visit for those who café hopper. Their café comes
Bacon carbonara. This tops my list of weirdest combination. The pan fried sliced spam lends the creamy pasta a salty flavor. Then you have the shredded seaweed. Like, wait, what just happened there? I find that last ingredient there weird or maybe it's just my lack of understanding for fusion food. I wouldn't say this tasted bad, just an acquired one.
Verdict: It was indeed a bustling place on weekends with both indoor and outdoor seating were fully occupied. The indoor was rather stuffy and hot, so the al-fresco seat would be a better choice if you’re planning to come here.
definitely a good place for early breakfast in PJ.
Overall, a satisfactory breakfast food hunt in PJ.
Roti Telur sampled today was quite good and especially worth mentioning is the thick Dhal (nice) and super spicy Sambal; worth mentioning it wasn't that oily at all.
It was super duper delicious breakfast for us. Tasty food and fast service. If there is a restaurant serve this delicious breakfast nearby my house, I don’t mind waking up everyday for this. Hehehehe!! The total bill for food and drinks is about RM 15 (Including 2 Teh Tarik, 1 Poori which is not included in the blog post)
Overall the food is nice and the restaurant is spacious. It is located slightly opposite 6 to 19 Nasi Lemak. Air Air-conditioning and Al Fresco dining area are available.
Overall, we thought the food was ok. Service was quick, but our experience was marred by the very greasy tofu dish. However, they do have a very extensive menu with a number of interesting seafood dishes.
Ambiance: 6/10 Price: 6.5/10 Food: 6.5/10 (non-halal) Verdict: Pretty decent dishes. Try the whole spareribs and homemade tofu with salted egg.
Maze at Menara Lien Hoe, doubling as a Coffee & Tea Saloon by day and Malaysia’s first dedicated Gin Parlour by night, had launches its all new drinks menu recently.

LAVO, a restaurant lounge and wine bar located at Menara Lien Hoe along Persiaran Tropicana, Petaling Jaya. This place certainly has the feel of spaciousness with a few dining areas to choose from. The main dining hall in modern setting furnished with sleek furniture and completed with a stylish curvy bar counter filled startling array of wine and liquors. This area receives great illumination of natural light from the glass window. One can also have a laid-back time and unwind at the wine deck.
Party,聚會吃聖誕大餐,跨年聚餐,一定要選擇 《LAVO》!記得要訂位喔!
Dry style lai yau chicken or dry butter milk chicken. The meat was deep fried alongside the buttery fried egg. Kinda dry on their own but also kinda addictive due to its crunchiness and slight saltiness.
The Grouper was immensely satisfying as well as fresh.
