The stunning view and relaxed beach bar vibe are the biggest draws of Scarborough Fish & Chips for me. The food won’t blow you away but this is the place to get reasonably priced drinks and perfect beach food in the area. It’s not even a competition with the other restaurants at Tanjung Rhu. Further along the beach to the north is an Indian place, and beyond that, the pricey restaurants at the Four Seasons Resort. It’s no surprise that even guests who can afford to stay at the Four Seasons still choose to eat here at Scarborough Fish & Chips.

Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the time we spent at Scarborough, and we thought the price was fine for the amount and quality of food we got. In future we might come back for the family to try one of the bigger fish platters, though maybe they’ll stick to the British style fish supper.

Deep Fried Dory The chunky fries were delightful to have with a nice, thin crisp that were addictive even though they were also super filling to the tummy; i even had to resort to stealing a few from the plates of the fellow travel mates! Now on the fish. Batter wasn't the crunchy, crispy type i usually like and i was on the verge of condemning it until my teeth sank into the thick piece of dory within; super moist and tasty! Maybe i should go for the pan-fried version in the future!

Deep Fried Snow Fish – RM30. 2 slabs of fish battered with tempura flour was served hot. Flavors was good and its fresh. As you can see it is served with home made chips and some mixed salad as sides.
