The stunning view and relaxed beach bar vibe are the biggest draws of Scarborough Fish & Chips for me. The food won’t blow you away but this is the place to get reasonably priced drinks and perfect beach food in the area. It’s not even a competition with the other restaurants at Tanjung Rhu. Further along the beach to the north is an Indian place, and beyond that, the pricey restaurants at the Four Seasons Resort. It’s no surprise that even guests who can afford to stay at the Four Seasons still choose to eat here at Scarborough Fish & Chips.
Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the time we spent at Scarborough, and we thought the price was fine for the amount and quality of food we got. In future we might come back for the family to try one of the bigger fish platters, though maybe they’ll stick to the British style fish supper.

Overall, I find the food at Wonderland Food Store Seafood Restaurant Langkawi is affordable while the taste of their food is decent. I don’t mind coming back here again to try their other dishes when I visit Langkawi again.
Honestly, I found Putumayo hard to score. Despite the quality of the (non-vegetarian) food, and the pleasant surroundings and staff, the price makes it hard to recommend with a clear conscience! I’d say go for the fixed price meals, and if you were to perhaps it would be a higher mark.
Reasons to visit Terrace Italian Restaurant Langkawi: Unique dishes from a talented Italian chef who knows how to work the produce of the land to bring out the best flavours. Celebratory food presentation, with a personality mirroring that of the chef’s. The food is outstanding and memorable, it is a must-have in Langkawi! The restaurant is a classy and romantic beach-facing restaurant, with an expansive wine list for pairing options. There is nothing like the sound of birds and sea breeze amidst greenery to accompany a good meal! We highly recommend a visit.
Starting from the 1st July 2018, Terrace will be serving Traditional Roast from 12.30noon to 3pm for RM98nett per person (without alcoholic beverages). To complete the meal, add on an additional RM70 for house pouring white and red wine, sparkling wine, draught beer, house-pouring spirits, selected cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.

We came here twice during our holiday. In small part because of the lack of better options in Tanjung Rhu, but also because we couldn’t get enough of the pad thai and fresh seafood. Everything is so cheap that I wanted to order a bundle of items to try but had to be talked down. Cheap, edible food is one thing, but Dawan has cheap tasty food. Dawan Thai Kitchen is a good option to introduce something other than Malaysian food or fish and chips into your vacation dinners.
Reasons to visit The Beach Club Langkawi: spectacular setting; warm service; excellent produce; simple Mediterranean recipes.
Reasons to visit: the only fine dining Chinese restaurant in Langkawi; great seafood options; good wine list; and, if you arrive early enough, magnificent sea views.

Located right on the beach, Jala offers breath-taking panoramic view for its diners; like any other beachfront restaurants or bars, you can relax and enjoy the soothing sea breeze complemented by the sunset scenes while savoring the restaurant's finest offering. With a name like "Jala" (refers to fishing net in Malay), one would expect the restaurant to offer an incredible Seafood-dedicated menu. Like its resort, Jala supports the concept of sustainability, all Seafood are sourced from local suppliers and only sizable catch shall be accepted (release back to the water otherwise). There will be at least 10-11 types of fishes available daily and that includes Snapper, Grouper, Barramundi, Pomfret etc.
