Nak lagi sederhana Lagi sederhana kalau datang naik basikal tua !
So sesiapa nak makan Nasi Padang, boleh cuba restaurant Sederhana. Tak silap, dia ada beberapa cawangan yang lain. Tapi pastikan datang dengan perut yang kosong ye. Makan sini, memang kenyang habis.
Overall, a good meal. Most dishes from RM12-18 for a small size portion.
I have been returning here for a few years and will continue doing so for years to come 🙂
The Sizzling Sambal Vegetarian Fish was another delicious dish. If you are a fan of those Asam Pedas fish dishes, like I do, then you’d like this tooo – minus the fish, of course, lol. Here, they use soy as a substitute for fish, it taste the same except the soy is a lot less fishy and more chewy. The sambal was yummy, as I said earlier- it tasted like your typical assam pedas gravy and it made a good gravy to eat with the brown rice.
But Nature's Recipe Cafe (12 Jalan 8/1E, 46050 Petaling Jaya) is one of two Malaysian vegetarian joints that gave me hope for the potential of Chinese vegetarian cuisine to reach its own state of nirvana. (The other was Yishensu at 1 Utama.) The food is impressively presented and very tasty, even without a trace of the garlic I so dearly love.
During our trip back home to Malaysia in May/June, Uncle Kent took us to this restaurant in PJ and needless to say, the food was good. This uncle of mine is not a vegetarian and he too liked the food there. Here are some yummies that we had that night.
