In SOULed OUT pizza list, Sake San Pizza is our favourite – An innovative pizza with Japanese fusion, layering salmon slivers, fish roe, cherry tomato, mozzarella, Japanese mayo, lollo rosso and hints of wasabi over thin, crispy pizza. Has been ordereing this for numerous time so we decided to try out something different and new on the menu this time – Pomodoro Rughetta. Oval shaped pizza, generously laden with beef bacon that delivers the main flavours, further topped with roasted peppers, tomato sauce, mozzarella and arugula salad. Flavourful and we like how the arugula leaves and tomato help to balance up the overall flavours. A choice of 8″ just nice for one, or bigger 11″ ideal for sharing.
SOULed Out AmpangThe dish that attracted our attention that evening was the Sang Har Meen. We ordered the Sang Har Meen and were very happy with it. The ‘Sang Har’ came in 1.5 portions and straight away, we knew that it was fresh as the flesh peeled off easily from its shell. Taste wise, it would be better if there is a tad more salt in it.
SOULed Out @ Jalan AmpangThe second dish we had was the Sizzling Lamb Cutlet @ RM36 which came highly recommended by the manager. The recommendation was spot on and not only our Indian colleagues loved it, we (the locals) also thought it was delicious and had to get one for ourselves. The masala sauce was rich and had a touch of heat to give it a little kick and we gladly mopped it up with the naan.
