Dining in an open-concept restaurant does take away some marks for ambience.
We stumbled upon Ji Xian at Wave Mall while looking for some lunch. Me, being a dim sum guy and all, decided to give it a go.
We had visited A-One Claypot House previously (you can read about out visits here and here to see the other dishes we had tried). We are happy that with A-One Claypot House Takeaway & Delivery, we can now also enjoy its reasonably priced simple comfort food at home.
If you want something different from the usual fast food or hawker food and yet wallet friendly, OmoOmo is a good option. Its Korean-Japanese fusion dishes are palatable and affordable. The OmoOmo Takeaway Bento is a good value deal.
The Suki-Ya buffet consists of unlimited beef, pork, and chicken, along with a plethora of healthy veggies at their salad bar.
All in all, it was a pleasant experience dining at Issho. We came here without expectations but we left feeling satisfied.
service was very good. the staff took photos and put up with a overly active senior group. lol!
All in all, I find the concept & menu to be pretty exciting & palatable, price point is also pretty affordable.
Clearly, this restaurant is a popular lunch destination.
The food was well prepared and nice enough but there was no innovative fusion which resulted in something new and exciting.
