Let’s see what we ordered for our dinner. We ordered Dog Food, Classic Meatloaf, Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Bacon, Mixed Sausage Platter and Pig in a Blanket. I personally like the Classic Meatloaf and Dog Food. When I heard the name of Dog Food, I am like wow. Sound cool. Actually it is a fries bakes with gravy and cheese. For the Classic Meatloaf it actually is the combination of finely-minced pork and loaf. It is very juicy and tasty!
Please Note: This is a Non-Halal RestaurantDropped by Betty’s Midwest Kitchen at Aman Suria and Dataran Prima for an early dinner with the family. I’ve been...
Bottom Line: As someone who’s had Midwestern food for 4 years straight, I can vouch for the authenticity of Betty’s Midwest Kitchen’s food. With how long it’s been run, it would be a pity to see the diner come to a close when Kevin decides to retire. However, not every small business is built with the purpose of expanding or chasing profits, and Betty’s Midwest Kitchen is is an example of that.
Aromatic chicken wings with that nice tinge of sweetness on every bite
Takeaway and delivery services are now available at Hard Rock Cafe Penang.
他们提供的食物主要是沙拉、西餐、小吃和意大利面。
French Toast is kinda like must have for me. Love the brioche toast as it is done to perfection. sauce is not too sweet yet just nice.
Cappuccino was rich & have bold coffee taste that it goes perfectly well with the Burnt Cheesecake. Cappuccino @ RM 11
BIRCH BENEDICT RM26 The eggs were poached to perfection, where the egg white was firm and bouncy while the yolk was runny. The pull pork was another surprise. It was incredibly flavourful, with a hint of spiciness that tantalizes your taste bud. The fresh and crunchy greens were a great contrast to the soft and chewy texture of the pulled chicken.

The highlight of the day was of course the Lamb Sausage Calzone RM58. Folded in half, it was huge, about the length of my arm. The pizza base was spotted with charred patches, and delivered a firm bite. Tore the calzone apart and out spilled a mess of chopped lamb sausages, eggplants, melted mozzarella and oregano.
One of the must try is their Smoked Lamb Ribs (RM 98.00 nett). One can enjoy the 360g of Lamb Ribs which is beautifully smoked with the hickory wood, and then seasoned with their signature spice blend and then glazed with their house-made barbecue sauce and grilled till perfection. The meat comes awesomely delicious and tender which makes it heavenly with no gammy smell in it. And what’s more is they are sides with the seasoned fries and fresh vegetables. Yummz !
食物美味不在话下,价格乍看之下感觉好像贵了些,但看到份量的时候就觉得还好了。
One Night in Bangkok Spicy Shrimp This dish was a favorite of mine. There were medium sized prawns coated in spicy sauce with a nice amount of sesame seeds and green onions sprinkled on it. You do not need to worry about the sauce being too hot – it wasn’t. It somewhat resembled the reddish orange sauce commonly used to coat Korean Fried Chicken?? The difference here is the flavor itself. First, the mild spicyness will hit you, immediately followed by short burst of sour tanginess. I think a drizzle of lemon zest was added too. It was delicious. If it wasn’t for the others being around, I’d most probably ‘hantam’ it all by myself but since that was not the case, ‘kena jaga imej’ right? Lol.
I was completely surprised by the food at Burnin’ Pit. Our sandwiches were huge and loaded with ingredients. Both of us were absolutely stuffed before finishing our meals, and I wasn’t hungry for the rest of the day. I thought this would be a very generic restaurant that wouldn’t put any effort into the food – that they were simply coasting on their status as a barbecue restaurant, which is why I didn’t want to waste over RM200 for a platter only to be disappointed. However, I was very impressed. The food at Burnin’ Pit was so good that I will gladly come back and try their expensive barbecue platters.
The Peri Peri Chicken. It was so moist, so smoky flavorful and was great eaten with the pickled gherkins and green chilies. My brother was even talking about coming back and then ordering 1/4 chicken each. It was that good.
Salted Egg POBOY RM19 – crispy, deep fried to golden brown squid flash-fried with salted egg, Chilli padi and Indian Curry Leaves; generously sandwiched between baguette. Sided with fries. An order that both kids and adult will approve.

The food garnishing was quite pretty and the green curry laksa pasta seafood was to die for. It was spicy and thick and the price reasonable. The cafe was established by a reverent and seems to have connections with a lot of dignitaries.
Nasi Dagang, 14.90 ringgit. The Nasi Dagang was good, real delicious. It got me hooked right from the start. Check out their presentation – fancy in a local/traditional kindda way .. kan? Every item on the plate was good – the roasted chicken was tender and flavorful, the crackers provided that extra crunch, the pickled vegetable and then there was the gravy, tasty gravy. At first glance, thought it was peanut sauce because the texture resembled it but no one really eats nasi dagang with peanut sauce, so nope, it cannot be. Upon tasting it – it certainly was not peanut sauce, what it was was thick, sweet, flavorful gravy that complimented the rest of the items in this dish very well. I was delicious. Certainly a dish I would order again.
Head down to Grease Cheesesteak with friends and family to enjoy a delightful meal Oh~~!.
Review pasal makanan dia, ini tekak saya ye: taste seperti yang saya expected which is juicy, and flavourful. Isi patty dia sangat lah tebal and tak kedekut, memang kau makan burger tu pun dah kenyang! I really like the taste and it has fixed my craving and now tak de rasa pun nak makan smashed burger. Even my daughter like it, and they enjoy nachos so much. Cuma my son dia tak makan pulak ayam dia - mungkin sebab pedas. Cheesesteak pun sedap (based on my hub comment)jugak cuma I ate yang tapau punye. It was really spicy and I tak makan habis. Isi cheesesteak pulak banyak and giler puas hati sampai I makan tak habis. hahaha.
menu kat kedai ni takde la banyak sangat...ada laaa sausages, pastas, chicken wing, burger dan juga cheesesteak!selain tu ada jugak la snacks macam nachos, fries onion ring dan sebagainya...untuk minuman pun takde la fancy sangat, biasa je laaa...takpe, tujuan aku pun datang memang nak layan chicken wing dan cheesesteak dia, so tak kisah la menu sikit pun...hehehe....

Everyone's top pick for the night has to be the Roasted Pork Belly. We dig into the juicy and tender Roasted Pork Belly, scoring a high with everyone at the dinner table. Spot the crunchy pork skin, so sinful yet tempting! Roasted Pork Belly RM 22.90
The Barn Wine Bar has been so meticulous in giving diners a great dining experience, a great dining atmosphere. Not only the service from the waiters is extraordinary friendly. There are different seating sections to cater your mood of the day. LOLOLOL.
Overall, I really enjoyed my meal at The Barn. The service was 5 stars & everyone was so polite & nice. Food was good, the kind of seasoning I like & the ambience was comfortable & chill. Definitely a place I'd head back again & recommend to others!

Overall, The Barn is an awesome place, with good food, friendly services and comfortable environment.
Christmas is best celebrated by enjoying the classic dish - Turkey. If you feel having the whole bird for your family is too much, why not enjoy the A La Carte Roast Turkey (RM 42) at The Barn? The platter will be featuring carved turkey with chestnut, then served along with terrine, roasted chat potatoes, mixed vegetables and complimented by honey grain mustard & cranberry sauce.
Customers enjoy free flow of soup and salad from the buffet counter.
Overall, Mean Mince is a great place for American food, and the service is fast and friendly. Will be making a return visit for the burgers!
Overall, we had a fantastic time at Mean Mince, and we left with happy stomachs and hearts. Mean Mince is one place you’d come to for quality food with extremely reasonable prices. The items on their menu are made even better now as they also started serving up almost everything on their menu with a chicken option alongside their original beef option – great news for everyone who isn’t fond of beef. With ample parking around the area, friendly staff, and a cosy 90’s vibe interior, you’ll find yourself adding Mean Mince to your list of all-time favourites in no time.

TGI Fridays was doing promotion, we ordered three dishes: grilled chicken breast and shrimp, fish and chips and fried calamari rings
Black Angus Strip Steak 250g Medium Well at MYR 84.50++ (10% service charge 6% SST = MYR 98.02 nett) with Champ BBQ Sauce served separately. I shared this steak with my friend. The beef was tender and tasty. I think the price is quite ok, not too expensive since the steak meets our expectation of what a good steak should taste like.

everything is intended to soothe, staff are lovely, the brunch is great, and their milkshake is nigh-on irresistible.
We had BYOB (RM 14.90), a homemade pork patty which you can choose to add other toppings such as cheese, mushrooms, salsa and other ingredients at additional cost. Seasoning of the patty was alright and the sauces done well to give the taste an uplifting. Overall quite a satisfying burger to have in the morning.
This place served fine dinning with varieties of good wine. For those that would like to enjoy afternoon tea, there is a section for that too. The Ambience is cozy and elegant. The taste of food here touches all the taste buds sensation. The only word to describe is ‘Devine’.
Duck Confit,考得外皮酥脆,慢火煮至鸭腿骨肉分离一拔就脱离,这种软嫩的程度简直就是在引诱我增肥。
Platform 9 3/4 serves French cuisine in a fine dining setting.
Overall, we enjoyed the Hot Chicken offerings here as the chicken was nicely seasoned with a lovely crispy batter.
Would I come back again? Judging from its prices and the queues, probably not, as I think there are other alternatives out there that offer better quality at more affordable prices. But hey – if you’d like to give Nashville-style fried chicken a shot, try it and judge for yourselves 😉
他们可是正宗的美式餐厅,份量都是依据美国人的胃口,超级大份啊!
Another huge grill dish, it's the Laramie Whole Slab Pork Ribs (RM90) that I personally enjoyed that night. Usually I will only take a few bites of the ribs due to the 'jelakness' of it but the sweet and savoury of this dish was quite well balanced.
Laramie Whole Slab Ribs – drool-worthy pork ribs. The meat is so soft, tender and the taste are simply delicious.
Aglio Olio (RM 19.80). Their Aglio Olio is also nicely done with al-dente spaghetti noodles, topped with mushrooms, tomatoes, and sprinkles of cheese. The flavour comes well from the olive oil and pepper, albeit oil was slightly excessive which might be neglectable by some.
Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling (Pitt Street) in Penang is one of the most celebrated cultural districts of Penang. It is also here in the heart of George Town where one would find the mushrooming trend of cafes. For one – the Bean Sprout Cafe located in a two-storey heritage building opposite the Kuan Yin Temple has grown into a popular place. The cafe catches the eye from the street with its black colored blinds with big white wordings.
Specializing in the classic brunch items- Big Breakfast, Toasts and Pancakes; The Bean Sprout Cafe is one of the latest members to join the clamoring cafe scene in Penang. It occupies one of the lots right opposite to the few century old Kuan Yin Temple along Masjid Kapitan Keling. Both exterior and interior are rustic, it certainly matches the heritage theme well. The contrast is obvious here- young and passionate in an old-fashioned space; east (building) meets west (food); the cafe operators seem to pay great attention to details here. The heat-intolerant might be glad to know that there's a huge blower erected (though not air-conditioned), the cafe is not stuffed and the ventilation works fine. We did not feel stuffy at all, on a sultry hot afternoon. Albeit the cafe has a small menu but sipping a cup of Joe and enjoying the Toast while looking at the bustling temple-praying scene can be one of the great ways to enjoy your off day.
What do We Like about Five Guys, Pavilion KL? -The beef patties were good and not too dried. Portions of the fries and burgers were huge
Five Guys is expensive for Malaysia – feeling more so in relative terms than the UK – with our 2 burgers, cheese sandwich, soda, and milkshake coming in at RM137. It won’t be a regular trip, but it’s good to know it’s the same standard as we’ve had before.
