Today we ordered the Chun Peah, nice, tasty and crunchy (which I do recommend highly), but sadly was serve with a non traditional tomato sauce, (I would like the traditional Lea and Perrin, mix with mustard sauce), BBQ Chicken, & Lamb Chop.
This is a western cuisine restaurant but offer some limited Chinese dishes. We ordered few Chinese dishes....not bad leh!! The taste is good.
it is MIX of EASTERN and WESTERN food.
Sunrise Coffee Shop is a place that serves delicious food from Thailand to Penang. The soft and tender Thai pork throttle rice, Thai Curry Wantan Mee, Thai Curry Mee until Penang Hokkien Mee, and Koay Teow Soup are all available at this Sunrise Coffee Shop
The bowl of aromatic Char Koay Teow has good wok hei, and come along smooth koay teow with praws, lap cheong, egg and surprisingly the inclusion of radish to give it a tad of pleasant salty sensation.
BIG GI NA FAMILY RESTAURANT 小大人
So we drop by early one evening, just two of us, and duly was guided to ordered the following items, Of course the Curry Prawns, Deep Fried Chicken, Kai Lan, Rice and Chinese Tea. As we were early @ 6.30pm, we got serve very fast with the food, which I believe was precook (to increase service speed) while we were there, the restaurant started to fill up, most patrons ordering about the same items as we did. My comments, which may not be the same as yours, we had a “Not bad, decent meal” for around RM40.
Taste is above average as the fried chicken is succulent with crisp skin, and curry mixture is more skewed toward Malay style curry. Always request to have some fried onion (bawang goreng) to add on some aromatic portfolio to the rice.
Nestled in the heart of Raja Uda, you'll discover Masih Kopitiam, aptly translated as 'Another Coffee Shop' in English. This unassuming eatery has earned its reputation as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking a diverse range of culinary delights.
The age of twenty-two is the age of energetic and vibrant. This goes to the cafe that is packed with age-22 crews. Twenty Two Cafe is located at Raja Uda that serves fusion and trendy food. This place is lively and vibrant due to its young workers. Besides the instagramable surrounding, this place is family-friendly that has a karaoke room and a privet dining area to be booked. The food and drinks here are indulging and delightful.
We can enjoy a special Japanese Pizza (FOC) if we spend >RM50 for a single receipt today. We make it!
When we reached here around 2 pm, there are many customers already but we still manage to find a table. This place not only selling laksa but other Penang food such as cendol / ice kacang, chai kuey and fish balls.
Ah Leong's signature Prawn Cracker (Rm 0.40) was simply amazing. The shattering crispiness of the Crackers can be addictive and deep fried food lovers will struggle to stop at one. To enjoy the Prawn Cracker, you can either dip it into the broth or to enjoy it with Chili Sauce.
Overall, the food here is fine, environment is comfortable and i love their service. Service is really good .. !
