Overall, the food here is not too bad, but it is a little pricey.
The beef bulgogi was raved about by Tan Hsueh Yun of The Straits Times. While the beef bulgogi was quite savoury and tasty, with some sweetness, I thought the bread to beef ratio was too high, i.e., too much bread. The bread was also the chewy type, while I favoured softer bread for such Asian fusion sandwiches. The latte was not bad. This seemed to be a cafe favoured by Korean housewives.
I’ll definitely be adding this quaint cafe to my list of brunch dates with my boo.
It is one of our favourite restaurants in Singapore. It can get quite busy during peak hours, so I recommend calling to make reservations before going down.
Frogs were fresh & tender & very substantial serving of 7 frogs in 2 pots. sauce was tasty & not too sweet & porridge also tasty, went very well with the sauce.
Overall, I am rather satisfied with the meal and had enjoyed such a feast with my group of friends.
The panna cotta is so good and the topping above is coconut-ish and mixed with gula melaka... it's Mmmmmm!
