I like the pastries and cake here, indeed a nice neighbourhood cafe/bakery.
The small little Café with limited seats does offer free drinking water, but still quite cozy while it is not crowded especially for and early morning breakfast (as early as 8:30am) and perhaps afternoon Tea Time for its sweet and savory treats along perhaps with a cup of coffee, tea or even a 莫吉托 mojito!
After ordering, they reheated it before serving. This made the filling all warm and oozing as you cut to the middle of it. No clumpy bits, flavors were good. I can most certainly understand now why people were willing to go to lengths just for it. Fortunately for me, I'm always a little late to the game so no queuing required now.
I think this place is famous for Croissant, we tried the Almond Frangipane Croissant (RM 13), pretty nice. Spring Onion Smoked Duck Tartine (RM 16), heavy taste and salty. Bread a bit tough,..
We ordered an pain au chocolate, a matcha croissant with mochi and a spring onion & cheese. The matcha croissant was recommended by the owner himself. There was matcha paste and mochi in it, quite a special combination. The spring onion and cheese was our favorite. It has the Chinese scallion pancake’s (葱油饼) savory taste and was quite tasty.

The Cafe specializes in Cakes slices and whole cakes for order.
Cinnamon raisin roll at MYR 2.30 nett and 4 scones at MYR 4.70 nett. The scones are too dry and powdery but buttery. Not too sweet.
Other than their soft buns, Komugi is well-known for their much-sought-after signature Japanese chewy bread such as Baguette, Cranberry Paneo, Multigrain and much more.
Twist on a classic combination proves that everything is better with Salted Egg Yolk. Fluffy Croissants filled creamy Salted Egg Yolk that just melts in my mouth. Salted Egg Yolk Croissants @ RM 6.50
But when I went to Bake Plan to buy a golden lava croissant, I saw these cute but expensive moon cakes selling at MYR6+ each so I bought three of them at a total of MYR19.10 nett after adding in the 6% GST. All of them have a small piece of salted egg yolk in them.
At last, I went to Bake Plan to get their salted egg yolk croissant. One at MYR6.50+ (MYR6.90 nett after 6% GST). It is smaller and lighter than the original from Le Bread Days.
Tried Korean style shaved ice there, find it just so so, quite expensive, around RM18 if i remember correctly. The environment is nice for hangout as there is lots of seating space upstairs.
