A café doesn’t merely dispense coffee.Neither does a bakery simply cook flour and put them on sale. They are strongholds founded deep in the history of the area it dwells, built upon with stories shared within and around its walls.

Another dessert that you should really try was their Tiramisu ($9). The alcohol taste in this tiramisu wasn't strong and they added those little chocolate crunch balls for extra texture.

By the way, that matcha almond croissant doesn't seem to have any green tea taste at all.

The Matcha was obviously made with good quality matcha. I have tasted enough low quality matcha in pastries to be scarred for life and I’m glad this is not one of those.

My favourites were the Saumon Fume Pannenkoek, Le Poulet and the chocolate chip pancake. Good halal option for pancakes.

Overall, we had mixed sentiments about Strictly Pancakes at Prinsep Street. The service level could do with some improvement and the wait for pancakes was a bit longer than we would usually expect.
