The cabinet food is still there if you just want a really quick and light bight, but what you really ought to do is to order from the menu.
Almost every element of the dishes is made from scratch and using wild fermentation techniques that span from days to months.
Another dessert that you should really try was their Tiramisu ($9). The alcohol taste in this tiramisu wasn't strong and they added those little chocolate crunch balls for extra texture.
The Chip Bee Gardens stretch of cafes and boutiques at Holland Village has always been popular, and with the arrival of Keong Saik Bakery’s second outlet, it’s about to get more buzzing; especially since perennial favourites like % Arabica and Sunday Folks continue to draw in the crowds. Keong Saik
Overall, I am excited to try the other bakes of the bakery when I have more stomach space or more dining party but it would probably be a takeaway since dining there has a 1 hour limit which is not exactly the best for friend to catch up. As for the drinks, I would give it a miss
The Orh Nee Croissant Cube and Orh Nee Cake are available in limited quantities daily for walk-in only, but the Orh Chu Bee is available both for walk-in and pre-orders online in slices and whole cakes.
Overall, many of my friends swear by their cakes are the best among other cafes.
Some of the signature items from the shack can now be found at Nesuto so that you can have your savoury and sweet all in one place!
Overall, Nesuto was an attractive cafe in Tanjong Pagar for a tea break and indulge in some sweet desserts.
Really nice chocolate Pain Au Chocolate – layery, flaky, delicate, fully and buttery. The Canele was moist and spongy too.
Petit Pain, a popular small batch Bakery in Joo Chiat, and Japanese style bakery Kamome @ Joo Chiat offer delectable healthy bread.
Petit Pain makes delicious pastries that are affordable for everyone without compromising quality and tradition.
Overall, I loved the bolo buns and definitely one of the best in Singapore; in fact, can match one of the better ones in Hong Kong. I would return and enjoy the buns at the cafe and try the other versions as well
Very nice bolo bun, with a crust that was just the right mix of crispy, crumbly and sweet, soft and fluffy bun, and rich and melting butter inside. The milk tea was nice and thick too, with a good tea fragrance.
Food at Champion Bolo Bun is focused on Hong Kong style bolo bun and drinks.
aficionados should definitely give Starter Lab Singapore’s handcrafted sourdough a try; also a laid back place for breakfast & good coffee.
Starter Lab – Bakery at Havelock Road
The high prices are a result of their labour-intensive process and commitment to quality ingredients, both of which are well worth shelling out for.
Overall, Tarte does have some seasonal tarts that look extremely nice and the tart shell of all the tarts here is the same buttery crunchy textured kind which is very delicious and complements all the flavours very well.
Overall, I would give Tarte by Cheryl Koh’s afternoon tea set the following rating: Food: 2.5/5 Space and ambience: 3/5 Service: 4/5
ood at Tarte By Cheryl Koh is focused on Modern Singaporean dessert tarts and confectioneries. Handcrafted using rare ingredients sourced from around the world, each tart is a work of art for the eyes, each bite a burst of flavour for the palate.
For those looking to chill, and unwind, head over to this homey no-frills cafe for a cup of joe, or one of their handmade bakes.
The bakes here are pretty good, and my only regret is that I didn’t have more of them! I’d definitely choose them over the hot food options for future visits. The decor and homely vibe is lovely and inviting as well, and despite the fact that all tables were occupied, the cafe never felt too noisy.
Food at Baker's Bench Bakery is all about European style breads and pastries, with influences from British, German, French, and Polish cuisines.
Bakery Brera review - neighbourhood bakery near d’Leedon and St Ignatius Church next to Empress Market Farrer Road.
Overall, most of the items from Brera Bakery hit the right notes with me especially the croissants and I would definitely buy from them again to enjoy some of the perfect bakes they developed.

Poh Cheu Ang Ku Kueh and Soon Kueh review. Traditional shop at Alexandra Village, Jalan Bukit Merah near Ikea Singapore
Ang Ku Kueh is a traditional Chinese cake made to look like a tortoise shell; hence the name that translates to red tortoise cake, although ...
Everything at Poh Cheu Soon Kueh And Ang Ku Kueh is still made from scratch daily by the family, so you can be assured of the quality control here.
Pantler River Valley review with pictures of cakes with prices, drinks menu, cafe interior and some takeaway items
Their doughnuts come in several flavours, namely earl grey, cinnamon, matcha and vanilla. The matcha doughnut was so-so, as it was unfortunately a little dry, and was definitely left on the counter for more than a day.
I will be back to try the Strawberry Shortcake though. After all, how could you resist such a beautiful-looking classic?
Food at Tai Cheong Bakery is classic Hong Kong tea house cuisine, focusing on snack, desserts, and light bites.
Order this to try as we saw most of the table ordering it! Turn out it was good. I can taste the truffle in every bite and the cheese was well spreaded.
Overall, Tai Cheong Bakery definitely served the comfort food that the Hong Kongers have on daily basis. It is good, but don't expect extraordinary stuff. We'll definitely make a return visit, just not very keen on spending too much time lining up. Cheers!!
Overall, we can understand why Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Menu is still drawing in the crowds after all these years.
Portions are a tad small overall, except for pasta. Delicious fare and worth returning for!
Nassim Hill has the potential to be a great dining spot for larger groups and intimate gatherings given its roomy interiors and medieval tavern like vibes. Food, however is a bit of a hit and miss; so heed my advice and just give the waffles a good whack.
Having term as the Best Singapore Banana Pie in Singapore, there is no doubt that they have many returning customers and die-hard fans. Their pies are selling like hot cakes and sold out easily. Do go down early before they get sold out.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a good pie or chocolate tart, be sure to check them out!
You won’t find another bakery with the same pastries they offer, neither will you get the same taste.
Have been visiting Loong Fatt for decades, and they have been consistently good. Will keep returning to enjoy these favourite snack of mine, no doubt.
Unlike Malaysia Tau Sar Piah, Singapore version is crisp and flaky with the saltiness in it that balance off the sweet fillings.
It is a delectable snack to enjoy it anytime any day.
The avocado wasabi burger is nicely done.
It is not hard to understand the popularity of Kamome Bakery. Its breads are good. The prices are very reasonable.
I’m tempted to head back down for some soft jazz music and warm coffee. Perhaps I’ll even grab a loaf of Hokkaido milk toast on my way out.
It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and while I would be better off staying put in the air-conditioned environment at home; I made the decisio...
Ji Xiang Confectionary at Everton Park is one of the most famous ang ku kueh shops in Singapore - they really need no further introduction.
Ji Xiang ang ku kuehs with delicate skin and delectable fillings are worth a trip to Everton Park every now and then.
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Come 5pm, the cafe turns into a bustling hub for folks to come and enjoy craft beer, pizza and bar bites.
Who say healthy eating can’t be delicious and Chef Albert will prove you wrong.
I am filled with awe for Tiong Bahru Bakery Diner New Menu. Lots of vegetarian dishes are this delicious. Who say healthy eating can’t be delicious and Chef Albert will prove you wrong.
I highly recommend this place if you are wondering if it is worth a trip! I'll be back there myself
Service here is not the friendliest, but I can see why they do have a steady stream of customers. The cozy and tranquil space makes it a great place to catchup, get some work done, or to simply just chill.
What attracted me to this cafe is that it is an open concept and you can have a waterfront view of Yishun pond park. Slow bakes cafe bakery is located at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre.
Also, with an additional $4 top-up, you can get their Breakfast Set, with your choice of toast, two soft boiled eggs, and a drink.
