多那之咖啡蛋糕烘培 , 一家著名的台湾連鎖咖啡店也跟随这股潮流,将咸蛋加入他们的烘培食材里,推出了一道创意咸蛋美食 - 咸蛋流沙Cheese挞。
They had a good variety of cakes and they were reasonably priced. The cuts were huge as well. We tried their Pure Cheese Cake and Milky Tiramisu Cake. Both were heavenly! My rating for these would be 9/10 for the Pure Cheese Cake and 10/10 for the Milky Tiramisu Cake. Excellent stuffs!
Morning light RM 15.90: German sausages, smoked duck, scrambled eggs, cherry tomato, cheesy wedges Notice the singular sausage because they halved it and made a cross out of them. And as someone who learns German religiously because she likes German sausage, I can most certainly assure that there's nothing remotely German about this sausage.
With so many varieties to choose from, we agonised over the display counters trying to decide what to buy. In the end I got a Marble Cake (above) (RM5.80). The squares of bread were fluffy and soft, sweet with a hint of chocolate. Tasty bread, by all means.
The menu is not very extensive, price a bit high, but the portion is big (two person could share a dish), and taste is actually pretty good. I think the crew is pretty passionate, in terms of..
Friendly staff.
The European Cheese Cake was extremely good and it was truly worth the price paid. Similarly, the Hokkaido Vanilla was equally good. My rating for this shall be 9/10 for both.
One of the best cakes we ate last year was not a fancy cake with elaborate fondant decorations but a good ol' classic swiss roll from RT Pastry House. The taro swiss roll was soft and fluffy, and the cream filling was pretty generous and nice.
There is a teatime set offering coffee + cake for RM 14.90. Top up RM 1.50 to upgrade black coffee to Cappuccino. Price is affordable, coffee is not good, cake is nice.
My friend and her sisters highly recommended this bakery shop, so I think it must has have some interesting recipe.
Their egg tarts are definitely a must to try out and I can say it is probably the best egg tarts that I have ever had around Klang Valley. Other than egg tarts, they do have lots of other nice pastries.
This is their butter bun. Or something like that. The dough is rolled around multiple times so you don't get that singular layer of bun. Instead, it's like many puff pastries that's been combined into this bun. Quite unique, I admit. Taste was all right. Texture was surprising.
Moo and I both had the Spaghetti Carbonara, which came with ham slices and button mushrooms. Some places overload on the cream, but this was done just right – creamy but not cloying.
Love the coffee, the set meals are pretty alright.
Service very slow even very little customer. Comfortable environment and nice food. Many high chairs not suitable for seniors.
Good coffee and cake, quite environment.
经典原味的古早味蛋糕有鸡蛋的香气,蛋糕很松软绵密,吃起来也不会干,是纯朴的好味道。
I no longer sure is there a difference between Sipping Corner and this place. Anyway nice coffee and cake.
Mushroom Croissant (RM 13) One of the signature is their Mushroom Croissant where the Mushroom Croissant brings you with the appetizing and flavourful House baked mushroom, topped with the melted mozarella cheese. Addictively good and flavourful!
Nasi Lemak with Taiwanese Chicken Chop, 14.90 ringgit This dish was delicious. I liked it a lot. At first glance, , it is easy to assume that the chicken chop would be a lil ‘dry’ for a nasi lemak, I thought the same thing judging from how it looked like but upon trying it – it tasted yummy. The thin outer layer of the chicken was crispy and crunchy and the inside was tender and juicy. It certainly worked well with the rest of the Nasi Lemak. The sambal was also a favorite of mine. It was spicy and packed with heat but it sure tasted awesome. Would totally give this dish a go again 🙂
Pancake is decent, the crusted fish a bit below expectation. Coffee is nice.
A good neighborhood cafe and bakery to enjoy western breakfast.
The President (RM 21.80) For chicken lover, you can go for The President. The president is served with the roasted chicken, mozzarella cheese, French garlic sauce, caramelized onions and the roasted cherry tomato. The taste is just awesome with the delighting and aromatic flavours, tender chicken meat with the creamy and fragrant mozzarella cheese and the garlic sauce. Yummy!
A meat lover's dream, the Wagyu Steak Out (RM36.80) is a must-try! A 100g Wagyu steak, perfectly cooked to medium rare doneness, is complimented beautifully with mozzarella cheese, mustard BBQ sauce, pickled cabbage, caramelised onions, roasted tomato and garden greens. This time, we had it with the sourdough bread, which was excellent too.
It was delicious. Mr Baa Baa is made up of Grilled NZ Lamb + Mustard BBQ + Mozzarella + Pickled Cabbage + Garlic Aioli + Mint Leaves + Cranberry Jam. In terms of the bagels itself, there are 5 types you can choose from – Plain, Seeded, All Sorts. Salt and Pumpkin. I opted for the Pumpkin bagel, just for the heck of it. It was yummy, filling and wholesome. It was like munching on a really fat sandwich. Just to get a bite on the whole thing (all layers in one go), it would entail you to stretch your mouth to the maximum. The blend of flavors was nice. I’d never put lamb and cranberry in the same equation, but it works. The distinct flavor from the meat, mozzarella and mustard sauce was made better with the addition of sweetness from cranberry jam. It sneaks up on you. Loved it.
Coffee is average, cakes are nice, tarts are acceptable but the cannoli is really too hard.
Chocolate Ganache Tart is quite compact, and the pastry feels like cookies. Taste wise is pretty good, but it is pretty hard to dismantle. The truffle Cream Cheese bagel is pretty big and soft,..

Overall, I adore the olde charm of this delicate teahouse, as much as its exterior design which is reminiscent of The Lakehouse and The Smokehouse- both resorts are located at the pristine hill of Cameron Highland. So yeah, I do miss them very much and hope to be able to go back again soon!
