A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
I'm not an expert in English pork pies but I expected better.
JU95 is a great place to come for non-pretentious casual fine dining (oxymoron?!) food and drinks, where you won’t leave thinking that you need to go for a second round. The passion and effort that go into curating the menu on a monthly basis and the drive to create new and well-balanced dishes to keep it fresh for the customers by Chef Lee earn much brownie points. My only gripe is the ventilation because of the open concept kitchen.
With both indoor and outdoor seating, and chill vibes, Naga House is quite the place to be. Whether it’s for brunch or drinks with the girlies!
Pilcrow is a laid-back, cosy progressive dessert bar that is located along the stretch of bustling nightlives shophouses facing the Singapore River.
a great place to hang out over some bar bites and small eats with some cocktails at the table without having to purposely dress up for the occasion.
All in all, a really great place for a close-enough South American experience. Place was not too crowded on a weekday evening, and service was impeccable and warm.
