About RM 10 for a plate of pork meat, Ramen also RM 10. Taste wise pretty alright, good value.
Among all, our favourite was the Ribeye Beef as it was marinated and can be enjoyed medium. If beef isn’t your favourite type of meat or can’t have it due to religious obligation, you can opt for the Pork Belly.
But it is not this day. We may be served by robots, but food cooked ourselves on the grill still tastes the best. Bon appetit!
I know it’s super unhealthy (which is why you should eat this once in a blue moon, or for celebrations!), but I highly recommend getting the Mozzarella Bacon. The cheese sticks to the pan, so I suggest grilling one side of the bacon first before putting the topping on the other side, so you get nice, crispy edges and a gooey centre. Speaking of which, I like my bacon to be chewy rather than crispy, which the Hubs deems blasphemous. How do you like your bacon?
Supreme Pork (Family Set) came with thinly sliced pork, bacon, chicken, shrimp, assorted hotpot goodies like meatballs, crab meat sticks and tofu, butterfish slices, shrimp, squid, fish paste noodles, udon and vegetables.
I like the Hakka noodles, nice texture and slightly stronger taste. Wanton Noodle is nice too, and the glazed BBQ pork is pretty good. Nothing is cheap nowadays.
Toast & Roast, as the name proclaimed the “the Real CharSiew” . . . well, totally agreed and hands down their “char siew” is impeccable delicious, literally melt in your mouth.
TnR by Sean & Angie serves one of the best char siew in PJ. They are always nicely charred with lovely caramelisation.
The signature pork chop alone has many different flavors to choose from. Our favorite is the nam yee and marmite sauce and we usually choose to have pork chop as there are no bones to it. Basically all the sauces are tasty anyway. The pork chop portion was big and with all the side dishes, it made a fulfilling meal.
I only visit here for their Pork Chop with Thai Sauce and Lemon Sauce Pork Chop. Aside from these two dishes, others are not really good to me.
Normally when we go to eat at Ribs King, PJ, we would order the rice dishes but this time I had the chicken mushroom wanton noodle at MYR 7.50+ (6% GST = MYR 7.95 nett). Taste quite acceptable.
Dosirak (Korean packed lunchbox) Set (deep fried shrimps) - about MYR14.90 and I gave half my rice and 1 shrimp to my friend. It is a well-rounded meal with rice, vegetables, shrimps, soup and tea.
Hae Mul Pa Jeon (RM28) The Korean pancake that is more expensive that either of our main meal but this, this is special to it's own and it's really, really good. Even though they fry it together with chilli (see the huge one in the picture) but you can't really taste the chilli, in fact, you'll be overwhelmed by the awesome dough of the pancake with the mixture of seafood and vegetable. You HAVE to dip it in the sauce. I have no idea how it's done but it tasted magical so it's worth every ringgit.
Overall Rating: 7.5/10. Bypassing the unhappy server, I had a decent meal. The dishes that I sampled was delicious - the barbecued beef was scrumptious (missed the picture for this one), the kimchi soup fantastic and the banchan selection superb. A decent Korean restaurant in PJ definitely worth dropping by.
The Lamb Shoulder comes out to be delicious. No gammy taste at all, and the meat remains moist and juicy as it is. Sides with fresh mint sauce, buttery mash and coleslaw.
Mash & Dog Simple fare but makes a hearty one. Love the springy porky sausage that went through a decent heaty grill to be paired with the yummy mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, that humble mashed somehow managed to steak my attention cheekily with its nicely constructed rustic recipe. Unexpected right? Yeah, me too, hehe.
Surprisingly Pop’s the carb-lover went for the Chicken V 2.0: essentially grilled chicken topped with a creamy butter herb sauce that tasted like thick cheese. Tried some and it was good! Meat was tender, juicy and moist.
Pork Bone Soup For PORK BONE lover, for sure you need to try the flavorful and refreshing Non-MSG PORK BONE SOUP. The owner has been trying out more than 5 trials just to get the perfect taste for all of you
Village BBQ Steamboat at Bandar Puteri, Puchong offers a varied range of meat, seafood, vegetables and noodles for hungry diners to enjoy. As the name perceives, the restaurant introduced three ways of the simple cooking method to enjoy the buffet which is BBQ, Grill and Steamboat.
Designed to provide both hot pot and BBQ simultaneously, Village Steamboat in Puchong is one place not to be overlooked when scouting for a joyful dinner experience. The thing about hot pot and BBQ is also the togetherness and conversations over the cooking time. What makes this halal (pork-free) restaurant stand out is the BBQ Pitt next to your hot pot table, their lively swimming prawns, and their excellent assortment of vegetables, meatballs of many kinds, mushrooms, meats and of course the fresh seafood- a favourite with the neighbourhood patrons, as well as fellow foodies.
Guess most of the first timer like us would never notice unless neighbouring table keeps having this pile of goodies on their table – Premium Pork Sirloin Thin Cut! This premium cut has the same texture as you had (just thicker) in Bar.B.Q Plaza, taste so “masitda” (delicious in Korean) and gets better while dipping with sweet bean paste sauce. 😉
I will definitely come back to visit again and also recommend it to my friends who love korean BBQ ! So worth it <3
Yes, you are right! All you can eat with refilled unlimitedly with only Rm27 for lunch and Rm29 for dinner. I like the interior very much where it have the local Korea feel.
The pieces of grilled rice cakes were crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the insides. Tastes very good when coated with the sweet and slightly tart, apple honey dip provided.
We had the Apple Platter (RM 88) which is their signature. The platter comes with the Apple Samgyupsal, Apple Moksal, Apple Hanjungsal, Apple Wraps, Tteok , Homemade Sausage and the Apple Salad.
Everything here is very neat and clean.
Overall, the only thing I really enjoyed was BBQ-ing their skewered marshmallows (RM1 per skewer – 3 pieces) on the pit. I’ve never had such an evenly roasted marshmallows ever! The bill came up to RM106.80 for two. Though yes I did order both BBQ and steamboat, I left the place unsatisfied. I felt that it was rather pricey and the food wasn’t extraordinarily good to command such pricing. Give me Korean BBQ any day (and cheaper too!). Also, I noticed when paying, the area where they prepared the food wasn’t really clean and hygienic. Hence, with the above in mind, I probably wouldn’t come back again.
BBQ Bar is a newly opened barbecue place in SS2 that serves lamb, beef and pork meat. Meat will be the highlight of the shop in addition to many other different kinds of selection such as seafood,…

Shinmapo Korean BBQ has topped the list of Korean BBQ restaurants with 430 outlets in Korea and more than 500 restaurants worldwide. Being the first and only outlet in Malaysia, it has lead to massive que during peak hours. Nonetheless, the food are worth the wait and will not disappoint. Kpop fans definitely should not miss this out!
With more than 500 BBQ restaurants worldwide and more than 430 shops in Korea, you know this is the place to go for should you need some SERIOUSLY delicious Korean food fix. For those who are wondering, they are known as Ma Gal BBQ in Korea, and Shinmapo BBQ in other parts of the world. After the first blooming success of their first store at Courtyard SS15, they are set to open 2 more restaurants in The Gardens Mall and Empire Damansara to feed the tummy of the Korean Cuisine fanatics! If you think that Shinmapo is just another addition to the repertoire of overrated mediocre Korean restaurants, you will be surprised to find out that this place is totally worth the hype! Unlike existing Korean BBQ joints in Malaysia, Shinmapo's takes pride in Galmaegisal, also known as pork skirt meat. Galmaegisal is only found between the ribs and belly of the pig, therefore it's very precious, only 200-250gm are available per pig. The taste and texture are akin to that of Korean beef.
Well known for their luscious barbequed pork galmaegisal or more familiarly known as skirtmeat, this long and prized slab is well treasured for its flavor as this unique premium cut is only found between the ribs and the belly of a pig that weighs about 200 to 250g on average in every full grown pig.

What do We Like about Mido Korean SS 2? -Value for money sets lunch which rotate menu daily
Food : 4/5 Price : 3/5 Ambiance : 3/5 (I much prefer the 1Utama outlet. More comfy & spacious)
Honey Lemon Chicken & Currywurst" comes with a quarter chicken; well grilled yet still tender and tasty honey lemon chicken (the lemon sauce was good).
Jambalaya" is a kind of mixed fried rice dish. a kind of "卡疆克里奧爾風味米飯料理 Cajun Creole Style Rice Recipe", a dish of West African, French, and Spanish influence.
What makes the USJ10 大长今 outstanding is to me, of course, the level of service and the detailed attention accorded to its customers by each and every person working there.
A yummy korean meal in Subang Jaya UEP. There are plenty of korean restaurant with this name, but i think this is a standalone restaurant not affliliated to any other restaurant with the same name.
"叉烧烧肉饭 Charsiew & Roasted Pork Rice" for the take-away today at rm$9.90 which is a bit pricey but the 4pcs of Charsiew (with some fat) and 4pcs of crunchy Roasted pork were quite good;
The restaurant offers Chasiew, Siu Yok, Roasted duck and Roasted Chicken. On the side, you can also order Tofu and Egg. I'd give the Roasted Chicken a try in another visit soon.
Overall, no disappointment this afternoon.
This is a place where I used to hang out 7years ago before I fly to Vietnam for 3years. Well, I still find it interesting even after so many year, although the owner sold the business to his partner, luckily the partner still sayang the place and everything remain unchanged :) Their concept is very laid-back. Your hand can touch the floor when you sit on their mini lazy chair. You feel like home when you're there! I almost fell asleep...
We sat for a good while there after the meal, enjoying the ambiance while drinking our Sunset Quench (their special mocktail). There are also complimentary kuachi (sunflower seed) and groundnuts for customers to enjoy while waiting for their food, or as an aftermeal 'dessert'.
