While the meat is good and all, my favourite is actually the scallops, which are served in small tin foil bowls swimming in a flavourful broth. The scallops are sweet and juicy with a buttery taste – extremely addictive – and the broth is delicious too
Our lunch for two came up to RM120, which was pretty reasonable for a barbecue buffet. If you come on weekday afternoons, it’s RM39.90++ per pax.

One section of the restaurant affords a panoramic view of Sunway Lagoon.
The Golek Station will feature a whole lamb, where the chefs will slice the succulent meat directly unto the diners’ plate. The lamb is marinated overnight with over 25 different local spices and mixed herbs such as old ginger, garlic, lemongrass, galangal, salt, masala, coriander, yoghurt, mint leaves and cumin powder before slowly roasting for four (4) hours to retain its moisture, producing a tender and juicy meat for diners to enjoy.
The Resort Café, will serve the special Ramadan buffet dinner nightly from 6 May to 4 June 2019, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. The buffet is priced at RM 188 nett per adult and RM 98 nett per child (ages between 6 to 12 years).
Well, for the price that we are paying, definately no complain at all, however I still prefer Sukiya over this. As sukiya soup base is much flavourful. For this outlet it seems pretty mild in most of the soup base. However, depends on your own preference as this is constantly packed.
Click on it to read the text. There are 5 soup base available and 4 types of meat: pork, chicken, beef and lamb. You need to pay extra if you order from the ala carte section. For weekday lunch the price is MYR 32.80++ (10% service charge and 6% GST making it MYR 38.25 nett) and it is limited to a 2 hours session. For weekends, the price is MYR 34.80++ for lunch.
Overall, we were satisfied with the quality of the ingredients, as the prawns and meat slices were fresh and highly enjoyable. And as expected, the pork slices were the most delicious and went well with the spicy miso dipping sauce. That said, Sukishi’s sushi was terrible so don’t have high expectations for it. Personally, I thought they were worse than what you get at supermarkets.
But i'm telling you, it's the most delicious ice cream i've ever eaten in my life ! SO FREAKING DELICIOUS ! Two tumbs up for their ICE CREAM ! hahahaha.. It was so good that Daniel actually went for 4 rounds of ice cream.. hahaha. XD
You always find a queue at Suki-ya but that does not necessarily mean it's good, it could mean it's affordably priced. In this case, the buffet at Suki-ya is indeed just that....value-for-money! You can get your money's worth by just consuming a couple plates of the beef (which is the only good thing here in my opinion). But then again, you can probably get a decent Chinese steamboat at around the same price...and with seafood thrown in!
There was a very long queue that continued to the outside of the restaurant. People must really love the food. But, it was great. I really enjoyed the buffet. It was very satisfying.
The option for soup were very subjective. I chose Tomato soup because I have had Spicy Mala Soup earlier, it was savoury, hot and satisfying. So I would like to try their Tomato Soup too. Compare to mild tomato soup, it was not that savoury , so if you can eat spicy, go for Mala Soup.
Fei Fan HotPot offers buffet steamboat. What’s better than spicy hotpot that goes in hot and comes out hotter ? Unlimited refills at a fixed price, of course !
Once we are seated, the servers come round with the stars of the meal – juicy lamb shoulder, rump steaks, lamb chops and chicken ham, all on skewers. Diners are each given a pair of tongs to grip the meats as they are sliced at the table to prevent them from falling off. With pink and juicy centres, the meats are perfectly grilled. However, if you prefer your meats rarer or more cooked, you can request for that and they’ll come round later with your preferences.
Besides counting the beef as one of the best meats served at Carnaval, I will also recommend the ham and pineapple, especially when served hot! The bottom line is Carnaval is the place to be if you have a simple passion for meat. With unlimited servings and being able to eat meat that is always kept warm, we guarantee you'll be seriously considering going vegetarian after a night here at Carnaval. =D

Rocku Yakiniku is indeed one of my favourite dining place when it comes to barbecue. Located at the Blue Atrium of Sunway Pyramid, Rocku Yakiniku is indeed v...
The foods are just ok, nothing fancy about it. Kind of expected that for a free flow BBQ buffet. No complain as the price range is quite affordable and budget. Ultimately people go for a buffet for the volume of foods. Service wise, the staff is attentive and the foods were served without much waiting required.
Just pick which buffet set you to prefer and they will serve you, even the bbq is done in the kitchen so you don't smell like BBQ later plus there is dessert Ah! Ice Cream!
Verdict: Comfortable dining environment, option wise, I would have hoped to see more variety of ingredients and soup bases. Service was attentive and prompt during our visit.
Here's the location. Ala carte Daily Buffet for lunch & dinner. RM48.80++ (adult) RM25.80++ (Children)
I do think that the quality of food has gone down.
There are a myriad of selections of food for you to choose. From seafood to poultry, sashimi to desserts. And I couldn't stress enough that the food in Shogun was fresh, not super extraordinary but definitely decent and has a certain quality control. I've gotten this offer from FAVE app for a weekday lunch buffet for 1 person for RM43 at a 50% discounted rate If you haven't tried Fave yet, Here’s a promo code H8P3H to get discount, you’ll thank me later. https://myfave.com/invite/H8P3H
