Canopy HortPark ia an all-day dining restaurant surrounded by lush greenery - for brunch, pastas, burgers as well as mains like Angus Ribeye
The food at Canopy HortPark is not particularly outstanding, with improvements needed in some dishes such as the Dry-Aged Beef Burger.
If you love dining in Singapore’s parks and gardens, or love being in lush green spaces, you will love the recently opened Canopy Garden Dining at HortPark. This is Canopy’s 2nd outlet …
The food was decent but the menu was very limited when it comes to mealtime. Perhaps the environment is good for some cakes and coffee during tea time.
With so many cafes in Singapore, a new entrant would not have generated much interest unless it is an import from popular overseas establish...
The best thing about Orange and Teal is the price point.
Western Food Delivery Bread Yard Cafe Review ; rustic meatball linguine, cheesesteak sandwich, multigrain wholewheat loaf ($6).
It is a pleasant experience and the food is better than other bakery cafes we have been so far.
The Prawn & Bacon Aglio Olio (picture below) looked like a simple pasta dish garnished with prawn, bacon, chilli and cherry tomatoes. But beneath the calm appearance was a fiery taste of chilli.
So the Elvis bagel tasted exactly like how it was described, of candied bacon, caramelised banana and peanut butter. It seemed like a weird combination on what was essentially harder bread, but tasted quite good.
Madmoiselle Chantal featured corned beef, honey baked ham, Swiss cheese with a sunny side up and some Carolina mustard. I liked it as a cold cut bagel with eggs and cheese.
Overall, I am glad that Two Men Bagel House has opened in Holland Village and judging from the queues in their opening week
Not a bad grilled poulet, crispy skin outside, juicy and tender inside.
A cafe with sinfully sweet bakes and a host of savoury mains, Sin and Savage Bakehouse is the newest cafe to join Queenstown. Read more.
Very normal, slightly heavy pancakes. And I thought matcha cream wasn’t quite suitable to be used in a mont blanc swirl – slightly too heavy in term of flavour.
One of their most hyped-up options are the Mont Blanc Pancakes ($18), which features a stack of fluffy pancakes garnished with an avalanche of matcha mousse, matcha mont blanc (chestnut-flavoured) sauce, fresh cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
For a $9 portion, the quantity of their Signature Tai Wah pork Noodle was simply too much for me. The bowl had covered the Mee Pok with Livers, Minced Meat, lean meat and sole fish.
The mee kia was not bad, cooked well and with good flavours from the pork and seasonings. The issue was the flat and chewy tee poh which had lost all its crispiness, and the dumplings that felt so heavy with the extremely thick and clumpy skin.
I was there one day after work for dinner. I was apprehensive at first because it was a Chinese Nasi lemak vendor, but the rice was fragrant and delicious!! It's possible that the sides weren't warm enough. But this stall provides a vast selection of sides for me to choose from; however, I went with the luncheon meat. HAHA
Good varieties of cuisines can be found here at Savourworld, from local inspired options, to western cuisine; you will be able to grab some drinks with friends at Savourworld too.
Food at The Kins’ Specialty Coffee is Modern Fusion, a blend of European and Asian styles.
I would say that the food isn’t particularly mindblowing, but they do have some pretty interesting Asian-fusion offerings.
Overall, we feel that while the mains were tasty, they could be improved.
The best dish of the day was the mutton soup ($5). The rich thick soup was powerful enough to wake up any sleepy person.
Nice, woody and complex latte. Good vibes. Thumbs up.
Overall, a lovely place for a meal or for chilling out. The service crew continued to be understanding and polite, efficiently making dining here a nice experience.
We had the Summer Cooler ($16), a refreshing cocktail with sweet fruity notes from the green grape soju, perfect for unwinding over the rich, hearty dishes.
With so many intriguingly delicious items on the menu, it was impossible to try them all so The Chir Cafe & Bar can expect another visit from me sometime soon!
Chir Cafe + Bar nailed the duality concept on the head and really shone with their creativity, while still embracing their Korean fried chicken specialty.
With its quiet surroundings, affordable prices and welcoming environment and Wi-Fi provided, Drury Lane Specialty Coffee’s newest outlet at Neuros, Biopolis is a spot that would be a conducive hideout for the office folks at Biopolis for a quiet meal or even work from over coffee; we definitely see ourselves returning to get some work done if we were to be in the area.
Na Na Homemade Curry in Dover
By Chef Sebastian Ng and Edmund Ang (Ponggol Nasi Lemak third-generation owner), halal-certified MAM MAM in NUHS serves locally-inspired rice bowl.
The moment I walked in, I already liked the vibes of the entire place.
Quite oily and salty smoked duck aglio olio with chilli spaghetti, with 4 pieces of cold smoked duck, in a plastic bowl, with plastic utensils, at $18.80. A dish somewhat incongruous with the settings, from ex-chefs formerly operating at bazaars
With alcoholic beverages available, this cafe makes for a great place to unwind after a long day at work too!
