This is a great cafe and fast becoming one of my favourites in this part of town (that's closer to home). Their exciting version 4.0 menu is certainly on the right track with these add-on hot dishes to their menu of mostly pastas, gourmet sandwiches and salads. The three dishes that we tried will be great additions to their menu when it's finalised. I certainly hope the salmon fillet and zucchini and corn fritters make it on the menu permanently as I'd love to have them again. After two visits, I'm absolutely certain that there'll be a third.....and a fourth...and a....! Well, I've been here for dinner and after-dinner snacks, it's time I come when the sun is up...for some morning brekkies! ^_~

This area has everything - from high rise to embassies to posh houses. The one thing that stands out is their existence in this area. There are not many cafes around this area and this is one of it. Finally, a cafe to cater to the local neighbourhood!

Set Lunch (Honey Garlic Chicken), 22 ringgit. The Set Lunch included soup of the day – Mix Vegetable Soup + Drink – Fresh Watermelon Juice + Main Dish – Honey Garlic Chicken. For just 22 ringgit, the set lunch was a good deal. The Honey Garlic Chicken consisted of 2 pieces of tender grilled chicken (drumstick and thigh) with wedges and salad on the side. I liked the gravy on the chicken, it was sweetish, oily, buttery and flavorful all in one and it provided the meat with a good “ganache” of sorts, every bite you take, there is a mix of flavors. It was yummy.

Mariah Berry Sandwich, 19 ringgit The dish consisted of Cajun style roasted chicken + homemade organic cranberry sauce + spicy herb mayo with Panini. The combination was mouth wateringly yummy. The roasted chicken came in a generous quantity and that mayo, it was thick yet airy, with a nice flavor to it. There was also quite a good spread of the cranberry sauce/ jam. It wasnt too sweet and it came with bits and pieces of cranberries. Do imagine the variety of flavor you’d taste with this sandwich – from the not too sweet cranberry sauce to the herb mayo and the Cajun style roasted chicken. Yummmm.

Everything's exceptionally good after a few pints of beer. Our initial plan was to have only a pint of beer, but as usual it did not stop at one and it obviously changed our dinner plans as well. Not sure what other food they serve, mostly cafe style food but if you're having beer then forget about food.

In the end, I had to order something else and went with the Crispy Spring Rolls @ RM13.90 (for 6 pcs) wrapped in minced chicken and prawns, served with a sweetish-sourish dip containing pickled vegetables of carrot and jicama. The rolls were freshly fried, came piping hot, were super crispy and had a good ratio of filling...so, no complaints on this.
