We believe Table & Apron’s enduring qualities will ensure its longevity in the KL dining scene. After almost ten years, the food remains impeccable, and the service is still as enthusiastic and earnest as ever.
I'm stoked to savour my favourite Ulam Rice (RM38) from Table & Apron (T&A) restaurant after a 2-year hiatus.
While their specials and a la carte menu may see exciting options during holidays, the set menu has classic favorites. You can eat like a king, delighting over the unique combinations. Each set comes with spicy ginger tea and a choice of a delicious daily soup or salad. Only available Tuesday to Friday at lunchtime, show up early and dig in! The Ice Latte was awesome here. It was thick, milky and ‘kaw’ and by ‘kaw’ I mean – strong. It hits you on all the right spots. Loved it.
my breakfast was "丹麦向日葵 Sunflower Danish"; freshly baked with semi-cooked egg, this one at rm$5.80 is definitely worth a try!
The Japanese Curry Chicken Bread was my favorite. The bun was soft and fluffy, it had a slightly sweetish taste to it. The filling was curry chicken but with a dryer texture and bits of chicken pieces scattered.
Lat Tali Lat - located on the same row as Fish & Noodle House, Damansara Kim, PJ - the daily lunch sets do offer workers nearby a good value meal with rice, meat, vege, egg, soup and a drink for about MYR16 nett.
Uovo is open to serving omakase meals based on customers’ requests and each meal starts at RM180 per person.
Verdict: Taste wise, the food I had was good although not too outstanding but the attractive prices definitely the main pull factor.
Among the rice dishes, I was told that the Butter Chicken was their most popular dish. I liked it, it was tasty. The gravy was thick, creamy and was accompanied with a generous portion of boneless chicken pieces. The meat was well cooked, it had just the right texture – juicy and tender…. and did I mention that it cost me only 9.90 ringgit and that too including a refreshing glass of cranberry drink ?? It sure is good value for money. Affordable and tasty. Yum!
