Verdict: Another good find to be added to my to-revisit list as I heard that the Prawn Mee from the Mee Jawa stall is equally good. (ゝ∀・)v
Every dim sum joint has their hit-and-misses, and we are glad that there were more hits than misses here at Mini Tanker.
Verdict: Honestly, the conventional Tonkotsu Ramen still our favourite but this lighter and “cleaner” version certainly worth trying from time to time especially when you want a healthy eating to “purify” your body. (^∀^)
We believe Table & Apron’s enduring qualities will ensure its longevity in the KL dining scene. After almost ten years, the food remains impeccable, and the service is still as enthusiastic and earnest as ever.
Formerly serving a fusion of South-East-Asian cuisine, Mera in Damansara Kim, P.Jaya now has an Isaan chef helming the kitchen, serving up more robust flavours and delivering taste notes that hover between extremes of spicy and sour.
While most Thai restaurants in the Klang Valley serve central Thai food, mostly Bangkok-style, we rarely come across any Thai resto showcasing Isaan food. Now, Mera at Damansara Kim has an Isaan-born chef at the helm, tasked with ensuring the authentic essence of Isaan cooking is retained whilst catering to Malaysian palates.
Le Sense is one of the few restaurants in the Klang Valley where dim sum is revered as an art form. Restaurateur Chris Chew is so discerning when it comes to the serving of these delicate morsels that patrons of Le Sense who wish to sample the restaurant’s lunch-tasting menu (starting from RM138++ per person) must make reservations at least two days in advance.
Overall, we were really pleased with both the Mee Jawa and prawn noodles here. This is definitely a spot worth returning to, and we’ll bring our mom our next visit here.
Every morsel was exquisitely crafted and beyond Chinese tea, the discerning are encouraged to bring their own wine, champagne even (no corkage), to pair with the dim sum. The curated menu starts from a base of RM138++ and above for lunch. Dinner prices are a little more, depending on the menu.
