From my visit, the food is good but I received many personal feedbacks that the food here are overrated. This is not a paid review from the restaurant but sponsored meal from a friend.
这九道菜肴即花了我们四百大洋, 平分下来一人RM22+其实也不算太贵啦!
Selain makan, korang boleh memancing kat kolam sini. Harga tu x sure kira camana. Sebab tujuan aku pergi pun nak makan. Pastu snap la apa patut. Selalunya kami order kengsum (asam pedas Thailand). Else Peanut fish.
营业时间:10:00 Am - 9:00 Pm (2017) 东西是不错吃,不过有点太油了,态度就比较差。 如果是叫鱼吃就没的你选要大还是小,老板说看捉到大就大。
姜蓉烧鱼 我们点的是姜蓉烧鱼,其实烧鱼的煮法就是把鱼和酱料放进铝箔里拿去烧,这样可以保有鱼肉的肉汁,又可以达到和蒸不一样的风味。这个烧鱼姜蓉味十足,还参杂了一些辣椒碎在里头,更加引人入胜。这里的烧鱼都是使用非洲鱼制作的,鱼很新鲜,所以吃起来美味。欧巴喜欢的是这里的鱼的价格固定,在RM 24-28之间,店家会依据用餐人数拿捏鱼的大小。
总结:这里都是用非洲鱼,这是我本身的想法,鱼肉是真的好吃,但是一桌三条非洲鱼口感都是一样,只是味道不同还真的有点过多,哈哈,还有这里的口味会重一点,食物有点小咸。如果重口味的人应该会觉得很好吃。这里的价钱不贵,每道菜叫两碟,总共才RM338。这里还出名爱玉冰,我觉得不错喝。 =D
Pork Spring Roll @ RM 11.00 This Pork Spring Roll is another speciality that is native to Kajang and the preparation here once again was very similar. Crispy skin and juicy fillings. You don't even need the dip sauce as it was that good. My rating for this shall be 9/10.
First we order the hot soup ramen for one person and OMG! The portion don’t seems for only one person… worth to try on….
萧家辣汤都是採用真材实料, 包括薑片, 胡椒, 冬菜, 甘榜鸡肉, 花腩肉, 及芹菜等, 可谓色香味俱全。这里的招牌菜是包括花凋鸡, 咸鱼花腩煲, 黄酒鸡, 芋头扣肉等等。除此之外还有新推出的辣汤拉面。
Overall, the food at Restoran Yip Sheng Kajang Semenyih is good and the food prices here are reasonable. There are plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and we highly recommend you to book your table first as this place is very popular and always packed.
整体来说味道很棒, 但份量有点小。 我们五人同行点四样菜刚刚好, 若多人一起用餐可以考虑多点几样又或者点大份的。
On top of that, we ordered 4 bowls of rice which cost us RM6 in total. The total damage for this dinner was RM79.50 nett after GST. Overall, we felt good about this restaurant. The dishes were delicious and the price was reasonable. Heard that they used to be famous for their chili crabs. Might come back again for its crabs ^_^.

Mixed Vegetables @ RM 8.00 Their Mixed Vegetable dish is another one that I would highly recommend. The vegetable is just so tasty and they are able to bring out the natural juices making it heavenly. It's just so sweet and nice. 10/10 would be my rating for this dish
Overall, we enjoyed the food and hospitality at Restaurant Kari Ikan Liew Broga 罗汉椒仔煲.. The food here is good and we return to this restaurant for a few times since last year. The food prices are reasonable but some dishes are smaller in portion. We usually visit this restaurant early to avoid the crowd and we highly recommend this restaurant than other expensive and fancy restaurants with overrated food in Broga.
武来岸罗汉椒仔煲 Restaurant Kari Ikan Liew @ Broga Semenyih 的做法是把苦瓜切得特薄, 加入浓郁味道的咸蛋液炸成酥脆的零嘴, 有种吃炸薯片的口感。
The noodles or mee portion was generous for both the soup and the dry version. I enjoyed eating my well-cooked springy Wantan mee - that's not too soft with the right texture and bite to it. I only wished that they can throw in some sinful but tasty deep-fried pork lard or 'Chee Yau Char' for the extra kick to the noodles!
In a nutshell, we were disappointed. Mostly because it wasn’t quite the Sabah pork noodles we were seeking. That said, if you’re planning to visit, be sure to get there before noon as the place is really packed and waiting time is longer during peak hours.

The dishes here are all tend to be more on Thai style as the main chef of this restaurant is a Thai chef. As recommended by the owner of the coconut shake, besides the grilled fish being their signature dish, the crispy fried chicken here is mouth-watering also.
I wish I've shared this much earlier. This post had been sitting in the Draft section for a year! Slap me please. Anyway, we wanted to go to the famous Semenyih Fish Valley actually but we went to the wrong shop! It's very near each other and this shop was very quiet. Just beware that the road to this place is REALLY narrow, please do not drive expensive cars to that area unless you don't mind any damages on it. Not like it's a definite, but it most likely would. We went in a Pajero as those roads are mean for 4WD!
Broga烧鱼, 出名的有竹筒烧鱼, 还有几家很受游客欢迎的鱼塘旁的烧鱼。 但最让我们青睐的是在通往Broga 鱼塘深处半路的小小烧鱼店。 这家A Yap 烧鱼就在鱼塘旁, 规模不大, 遇到多人的时候还得等上好几句钟。 虽然选择的菜单不多, 但价廉物美!
I tried their Soy Sauce Noodles and again, it was marvellous. Not the usual Wantan Mee but it was really good. It was a mix of noodles and they were very generous with the sauces. 10/10 would be my rating for this preparation. This dish also comes with a bowl of assorted ingredients like their famous Fish Balls, Tofu and Fish Cake and they were all good. 10/10 shall be my rating for these too.
Their Soup was just awesome and it's quite difficult to find soup that is this good. Their Fish Balls are handmade and that is clearly seen from the inconsistent shape. The Fish Balls were so soft and it had a fishy taste which is good. It clearly shows that they have been using generous amount of fish instead of adding it with flour. Their Fried Pork was just so good too. Overall, I would rate this dish at 10/10.

If you are in Semenyih and you want some unique seafood dishes, you can visit Restoran Old Dragon. This restaurant offers good food with reasonable pricing and there are lots of parking spaces around this area. We might not share those viral or fancy restaurants like others but we do share restaurants with good food like Restoran Old Dragon Semenyih.
Overall, the food here is pretty good and the total bill comes to RM 281. What we like about the food here is the uniqueness, their presentation and the taste. However, they couldn’t estimate the portion and we have to take away some of the food. We felt that the fish is too big for us and same goes to the prawns. Price wise it is not cheap or not expensive, it is average pricing. The food quality is better than the restaurant looks. There are many other unique food in this restaurant and we will come back again for more.
Golden Corner Seafood Restaurant Bandar Teknologi Kajang is another hidden gem in Semenyih. This Chinese restaurant might not be one of those ‘viral’ restaurants but it offers good food with reasonable pricing. We will definitely come back for more!
Pan mee noodle and Pitch Pan mee soup , Big bowl RM 5.50 & small bowl RM 5 . The portion fullfit as traditional Pan mee with dried anchovies , minced pork , slice mushrooms and a leafy vegetable such as sweet potato leaves . The soup plays a very important role in the preparation of pan mee. Typically, the soup is prepared by boiling pig bones and dried anchovies for hours in order to bring out the flavor .
Verdict: I love the noodle texture, while the soup is light yet tasty. Love the homely vibe the place exudes too!

Their Wantan Mee here is very unique as it is prepared using Pan Mee which is something that is quite rare. Another thing would be they would add both curry as well as soy sauce for the preparation thus giving it the extra flavours. Served hot and it comes with lots of Fish Cake and Fuchok. Along with that, a small bowl with clear soup is served as well. Simple dish but lovely flavours and my rating for this shall be 8/10.
Verdict: Overall, the food was just quite ordinary. However it’s definitely a good thing to be able to dine in at a special dining environment or restaurant setting instead of those ubiquitous eateries in the city.

Thinly Sliced Deep Fried Pork @ RM 15.00 This dish however was excellent. Pork slices were thinly cut and deep fried in soy sauce. It was crispy, juicy and really delicious. Something pretty unique and my rating for this shall be 9/10.
