Ate this dry beef Lai fun noodles we bought on wed for breakfast. Niu Niu beef noodles in OUG has a stall in this new coffee shop. I select beef balls, beef meat, tendons so the price is MYR 10.50 nett. There are no peanuts when I remember there used to be peanuts for dry gravy type beef noodles from Niu Niu. Taste just as good as the noodles from the Niu Niu eatery in OUG.
Overall, we were very pleased with our meal. Max is happy to report that the duck rice still tasted good after so many years, and this was a wonderful discovery for Ming.
I will definitely put more effort in hunting them down.
In the evening, Kam Heong Coffee Shop in PJ New Town serves Teo Chew style braised duck and pork trotters but in the afternoon, it has a few stalls that sell noodles and roast meat with rice. We were there one afternoon for lunch and these are the food we ate:
Piccolo Cafe is famous for serving one of the best Churros in Taman Equine, Seri Kembangan!
Since there's a kid, I always try to offer to them something that kids love... cakes or ice-cream! hehehe... I asked KY to choose her cake.. she was grinning when she saw 'Oreo Cheese Cake'. As for the adults, we shared a portion of 'Christmas Rum Cake'.. hehe... I have to say that our piece of cake was 'rummy' yummy! It has the right amount of rum and the sweetness of the cake was perfectly controlled!. Superb choice!!
OMG chicken burger (RM 15), it is very big and worthy.
Jemi Cafe is located on the 1st floor of the 4 story shot lot along 109F, opposite Danau Idaman Condominium; generally not a bad cafe except for the peak hours.
I was looking around for a cafe that is reasonably priced in Taman Desa to meet my mentor Andrew Chadbourne and found this gem of a cafe called Jemi Cafe that even has lunch sets and a many types of cakes and coffee. The lunch set cost only RM16.90.
My conclusion: Jamaica Blue offers decent food at a competitive price. Their coffee is simply one of the best especially their signature blend coffee and the price point is definitely cheaper than those mainstream brand like 'S' and 'TCB'. Other than Mid Valley, they have four more branches in Klang Valley, one in Seremban, one in Johor Bahru and one in Kuching, Sarawak.
This hot drink is a hot chocolate as it is using white chocolate case and adding a hit of blue curacao syrup to give it a vibrant colour. So that's why it is blue Latte. Once I taste it, it is so sweet. In my opinion, it is very suitable for those people who love sweet and it will make you smile and happy always. What is the best feeling is to enjoy the best coffee with a good companion or your loved one.
Chai Latte (M) was superb. I was trying it for the very first time and I would say that I loved it. Must try for Chai Latte lovers. It has rich chai taste and the right balance of both milk and chai. Yum!! Chai Latte (M) @ RM 15.20
Pork wine noodles at MYR 8.50 nett. The wine is served separately in a small bowl. The porky parts such as liver and kidney have acceptable taste but the broth is just clear soup, not pork bone broth. It even has choy poh (pickled vegetable) in it so I wouldn't call this pork noodles but clear soup noodles with porky parts (ching tong).
Verdict: The Geng Chow Bing which is the pull factor of our visit was good and I highly recommend the Kaya Butter Croissant. Do come here earlier if you wanna try the Nasi Lemak as it was sold out during our visit.

their signature 葡撻 Portuguese Tart isn't just bragging by fellow netizens, it was really quite good

I enjoyed eating the Fried Fish Noodles In Creamy Soup, which comes with a huge portion of deep-fried fish fillets while Fish Paste Noodles In Clear Soup was equally as delicious as bouncy tender fresh fish paste in flavourful soup cooked with cabbage and tomatoes.
The cafe’s signature is their grilled chicken chop with coffee sauce. It may sound like an odd combination, but the sauce has a nice coffee aroma to it and a slightly bitter tang which cuts through the creaminess and binds all the flavours together. The thigh meat was tender and juicy, perfect for sopping up the sauce. It also came served with cranberry butter rice, vegetables and a baked potato with sour cream
Indeed this is a better cafe to hunt for as their mains is good. Did not get to try their coffee as they are hit with water pressure so will go again another round. My personal favourite are: Seafood Laksa Pesto Carbonara Grill Chicken Tiramisu for finishing
Overall I wanna say this is a really nice cafe for chit chat and the food is nice too with reasonable price. I have already visited twice and I'm still not dissapointed. They will have official opening in September, so why not pay a visit? Food: 4.5/5 Environment: 4/5 Parking: 5/5 (Night), 0.5/5(Morning & Noon) Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5
Wanton Mee in soup MYR 7.30 nett, roast chicken and char siew rice MYR 9.50 nett. The cold white coffee MYR 3.60 nett was served in a takeaway cup due to the unscheduled water cut in Klang valley so we took it home and didn't drink it in the eatery. Food tastes acceptable.
Wanton noodle with Char Siew (BBQ pork) for MYR6.50 nett. Taste is acceptable.
We noticed the table next to us has additional fried fish slices in their fish head noodle so we enquired about it and was told that we could add the fish for an additional MYR5 to the MYR17 for a small portion of fish head noodle so we did just that at this Soon Lei eatery.
Their menu changes every day, so you won't get sick of eating the same thing all over again plus the price range is very reasonable!
The style of frying was unique. Then the cockles were generous and half cooked.
这里的餐点都不至于让钱包太受罪,在这个经济不景气的时代实在是非常具有吸引力的。

We love the lean pork porridge (RM7.50) as well as the "sang yu" fish porridge (RM10) here. The amount of pork and fish are pretty generous. The porridge is smooth and flavorful with hints of ginger. Don't forget to order some Chinese crullers (yau char kwai - RM2) to go with your porridge.
Tiny Temptress is located in Sri Petaling and there is another outlet in Bangsar. The menu. Please click on it for a larger view. We may be back to try the other cute desserts. They are full of natural flavours but as they are desserts, they are a bit too sweet for me so best to share with friends.
The Tiny Temptress opened their doors on 2013, and recently they have launched another new outlet at Bangsar Telawi to cater their lovely desserts to more people. This would be the ideal place for you if you are into French pastries and cakes, their coffee are amazingly irresistible too!
My recommendation here is the pumpkin barley drink since it's healthy and seldom found anywhere. The asam laksa for me is above average.
Chicken Rice Their chicken rice is one of my favourite chicken rice for sure. The chicken rice is well poached by using the traditional technique. And with this, you can enjoy the juicy meat chicken rice together with their home blend ginger and chilly. That’s so good and we ordered another plate after tasting the first one.
这里还蛮受父母的欢迎的,周末还常常被包场来办派对。建议过来之前先预约,或关注他们在面子书的公告。
