So, perhaps the Englishmen thought the sandwich name was called "Roti John" and that was how the minced meat omelets bread came to its name of "約翰麵包 Roti John".
nd visit to SS15's Q Bistro, maybe lesser customer today (Wesak day) and service was very satisfactory today. From order to food on the table as well as a request to thicken the teh tarik was acceptably good and satisfactory.
I am totally satisfied with the excellent poached egg on toast with kaya on the 'corners' of the toast, where the 'recipe' is called "Roti Bakar Telur Goyang"!
"叉烧烧肉饭 Charsiew & Roasted Pork Rice" for the take-away today at rm$9.90 which is a bit pricey but the 4pcs of Charsiew (with some fat) and 4pcs of crunchy Roasted pork were quite good;
The restaurant offers Chasiew, Siu Yok, Roasted duck and Roasted Chicken. On the side, you can also order Tofu and Egg. I'd give the Roasted Chicken a try in another visit soon.
Overall, no disappointment this afternoon.
Restoran Maju & Maju is an 印度嘛嘛檔 Indian Mamak eatery, located in USJ14's Good Year Court 9 (next to 瑪嘉烈酿豆腐 Margaret Yong Tao Foo).
The rm$26 "蜂蜜檸檬雞和咖哩香腸 Honey Lemon Chicken & Currywurst" comes with a quarter chicken; well grilled yet still tender and tasty honey lemon chicken (the lemon sauce was good).
The rm$20.90 "新奥尔良什锦饭 Jambalaya" is a kind of mixed fried rice dish. a kind of "卡疆克里奧爾風味米飯料理 Cajun Creole Style Rice Recipe", a dish of West African, French, and Spanish influence.
Taipan Yong Tao Foo offers only 10 variants of Yong Tao Foo at rm$1.70/pcs, others in the menu are Fried/Soup Dumpling, their "not too bad" Pandan Chicken Wings, and Asam Fish plus Salted steamed chicken drumstick.
For this first visit, more than satisfied with the food today and will definitely be back to USJ10's 福喜堂 FoxxyTong again for the good food and an interesting dining experience!
this one definitely worth sampling.
Today's breakfast is the "菜园鸡米线 Kampong Chicken MiXian". The rm$7 bowl comes in clear soup, generous amount of MiXian (thick rice noodles) topped with tender and tasty Kampong Chicken as well as pork lard and green onions; highly recommended!
Mr. Roti Canai offers a wide variety of Roti's, as well as fushion Canai Rolls with sausage, mutton etc. Rice meals including Nasi Lemak, Nasi Kandar, and Nasi Bryani with different variants. Not forgetting several choices of Mee Gorengs.
A truly indulgent roti served thicker, richer and sweeter
Too bad! But still the food is good.
