Its a routine to order Satay from this stall every time during our visit and if you love Pork Satay, this is definitely recommended.
There are two dishes which I will want to highlight is the stall selling Claypot Chicken Rice. It is one of the best I tried in Malaysia, Johore. Small is RM7 and Big is RM15. Especially during peak hours, you will have to wait a little longer but good food, always worth the wait isn’t it. The moment it arrived, off the cover from the claypot and the fragrance of steam floating out was awesome! The combination of Chinese Sausages, Salted Fish, Chicken and the mixture of Black Sauce and Rice make gave it the perfect taste.
BBQ stingray and sotong are our favourite and must order even though I know I am not able to hold the sambal chilli well. It is spicy but delicious and the meat is tender and fresh. Grilled stingray and sotong - Rm42
If your taste buds long for the taste of something authentic than what food spots in the mall can offer, there’s this back lane dining in Meldrum Walk where you can have a local food street experience. As a matter of fact, this 300-meter food street features a wide variety of foods and here are […]
Large Fried Oyster Omelette - RM 13.00 Joyce labelled this as the best and i can understand why; full of oysters, super eggy, had charred bits on the edges with the occasional sweet bites of diced up preserved turnip.
Mr. Tan's stall is number #13. The stall doesn't have a name - the sign simply states guo tiao zi 粿条仔 (Mandarin for kway teow kia).
Simple and nice nasi lemak at reasonable prices and with a Chinese twist.
I think Kong Kee's crunchy noodles pairs well with 洪记's roast pork to make a great meal at Restoran Oktober coffee shop. Don't forget the sweet soup from the dessert stall which would make your meal perfect
There are many stalls available in October Kopitiam such as nasi lemak, bakery, desserts, char kuey teow and etc… I would like to recommend this Nasi Lemak stall to you have a try for your br…
I am recommending Yap Wan Tan Mee at Sri Tebrau Hawker Centre for its eggy tenderly springy house made noodles which are well complemented by their tasty aromatic sauces.
Forty year old Lim Beef Mee 老林牛腩面 is the oldest beef noodle stall and the Lims are among the oldest hawkers of Johor Bahru.
Consistent taste and packed sweetness from the egg. The plate of Kueh Teow Goreng was not greasy and had good "Wok Hei" flavours, definitely worth some calories spent.
Juicy, succulent, slightly crispy skin and balanced flavours. Well barbecued.
👉 If you are at Marmolada food centre 大家胜美食中心 near KSL mall for dinner or supper, try out the simple yet delicious chicken rice and roasts at Mr Lim's stall.
