Best omakase / Woodfire Experiential Dining on the East Coast at The Social Outcast, Katong. Immerse in BBQ Wagyu, King Crab, Octopus, Scallop
I enjoyed my dining experience at The Social Outcast, and my word of advice is to head here without any expectations as it does operate quite differently as most restaurants, from the moment you stepped in, to the way the menu is being designed and presented. At least for what I had, the wagyu omakase menu would not disappoint.
The Halal Corner launches two new spicy fusion pasta dishes that will surely entice thrill- and heat-seekers alike!
One thing I have to say is, the portions are pretty big so it’s pretty good value for money.
The Halal Corner has one goal in mind - to bring you quality halal Western fusion dishes in Singapore that everyone can enjoy! ? Formerly known as Asyraf's Halal Corner, their creative dishes combine local and Western favourites to create something eye-catching and unique, and with dishes costing no higher than $7 you can get a cafe-quality meal at hawker centre prices!
On a whole, it’s a damn shiok bowl of prawn noodles.
The noodles were cooked nicely. The prawns were fresh, sweet and flavourful – this was how good big prawns should taste like. The soup was so drinkable – flavourful yet refreshing – that I finished the entire bowl.
A bowl of prawn mee soup worthy of your calories! The dried version with chilli and killer pork lard is sure to satisfy that craving for deliciousness.
Bedok Marketplace was a cracking dinner this day. Social Outcast, Burning Oaks, and The Naughty Chef be proud guys. The food is exceptional that you are

Old school Mee Rebus & Mee Soto to reminisce the childhood taste.
In spite of the fact that quite a number of family members are involved in the operations of this stall, Inspirasi has no intention to expand.
Hon Ni Kitchen also offers a variety of side dishes such as stir fried long bean, fried bean curd, eggs and more. All of these are equally delicious and go wonderfully with the nasi lemak.
Hon Ni Kitchen is not a big fame, high media profile stall but their nasi lemak ticks all the right boxes for an excellent rendition of the dish. Prices are very wallet friendly too.
The fried rice craze continues in Singapore with Ding Gua Gua Fried Rice with not just one but four variations of fried rice! Read more.
The Place Located in a nondescript coffeeshop in Bedok South Avenue 3, I checked out the newly opened Ding Gua Gua, a hawker stall opened by a seasoned ex-Din Tai Feng chef. It is at the void deck …
Horiginal is a venture to create an original Singapore beef noodle.
Nonetheless, for its big flavors and pocket-friendly prices, Horiginal Beef Noodle is definitely worth a visit.
Haron Satay certainly serves one of the best satays you can get in Singapore.
Humble, simple dish yet so satisfying.
You can bet your bottom dollar I’m gonna try my luck queuing for their mee hoon kway again. This time I’ll be the one getting the last bowl!
Some hawker centres have stalls that are so well known; people remember the stall’s name better than the name of the hawker centre! One good...
And do remember to go early if you want to try the prawn paste chicken, or else prepared to be disappointed.
The dishes at Sin Ho are competent, and it is definitely a spot we will return again whenever we are in the vicinity.
I concede that there might be some establishments out there selling “short-cut method” Nasi Padang, but I can assure you Lemaq Nasi Padang isn’t one of them.
While there are now many fried rice stores in Singapore, Oji Egg stands out with its premium Japanese-influenced dishes!
Lagoon Famous Carrot Cake will be a nice pit stop for cyclists, a good place for a snack after a swim or jog or for a light meal with a view anytime of the day.
Overall, the dish was really good, actually it’s one of the best fried oysters I’ve had, and also one of the rare places where I like the batter more than the oysters.
The chwee kueh is soft and tasted not bad. I do not like the chye poh though.
I only managed to check out the sambal stingray during my visit, but I’m looking forward to check out their other dishes.
The old school Chinese mee siam was soft and the sauce milky, lemak and limey, although only slightly tangy and havibg a but less depth. The tau pok was slightly firm and soaked up the sauce nicely. Overall not bad and interesting.
