Originated from Seoul, Chir Chir (치르치르) is the largest fried chicken chain in Korea with over 100 stores in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Honey Butter Chicken (RM24.90) A highly addictive dish which I agree with crispy boneless fried chicken chucks with potato wedges and rice cakes, tossed with honey butter sauce and seasoning.
Started with this Rose Cheese Chiqueen, a cheesy chicken platter that’s going to become cheese lovers’ new favourite! Fried chicken tenders stacked over a bed of fondue cheese, topped with chunky potato wedges and cherry tomatoes, further heaped with mozzarella sauce.
The main issue with me has always been the size; for some reason, I think Kyochon’s chicken wings are extremely small – like they get them from kampung chickens or something. 12 pcs here equates to an 8 pc set from 4Fingers (my favourite KFC by the way). Pricewise, Kyochon is also higher than some other KFC franchises, and of course, 45 minutes is too long a wait for a resto that wasn’t full.
Taste wise; it made us to finish almost the tiniest flesh that was on the bone. That described of how well seasoned/sauced of each chicken. Unfortunately, we only managed to try soy garlic series. We definitely will return for other series and larger portion.
½ Chicken original is a perfect choice for those who cannot handle the spice. My sister loved it while myself and my bf loved the red pepper. ½ Original with small meal upgrade @ RM 36.50
4Fingers Crispy Chicken 推出了最新火辣辣口味!
For those who prefer meaty bite sans the bones, the Chicken Chop could be another option for them- Boneless slab of Chicken Chop glazed with Soy Garlic or Hot sauce, served with Fries. If the Asian in you demands Rice, the Drumsticks Rice Box would do the trick. 2 huge Chicken Drumsticks served over steaming hot Rice, drizzled over sweet Teriyaki sauce would satisfy your Asian palate.
All 4FINGERS outlets in Malaysia have halal certification.
Verdict: So after reading the post, you know that my dining experience was a satisfying and impressive one. (^^)v
Overall, we enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken at Nanda Chicken Solaris Mount Kiara. Their version of Korean crispy boneless fried chicken is similar to the ones we tasted in Korea and hence you get the satisfaction dining here. We will definitely visit them again if we are in Solaris Mount Kiara.
Nanda Chicken is a Korean restaurant that serves Korean fried chicken with fondue-style snow cheese. Nanda Chicken Korean restaurant is always full when we go pass this area a few times. It was the crowd and the long queue that attracts our attention to try Nanda chicken last weekend.
We had kimchi and seaweed flavour shoestring fries. Both were well fried and non greasy. The fries had a nice crisp bite and tasted good too.
Chewing on crispy chicken and chatting away, our two platters of food gradually diminished. And as the bone bins filled up to the brim, it appears that all the flavours seem very agreeable!

Crispy and juicy chicken that just melts in the mouth. Seriously, I don’t need any sauce to go with. They have 2 choices to choose from original or spicy and I choose spicy. The set is inclusive of Lime Drink and aromatic rice. If you wish to change it to other side dishes, you got to top up the additional. I paid RM 2.10 to change my aromatic rice to mashed potato. Fried Chicken Chop @ RM 12.50
Verdict To say Nomms serves quality fried chicken at an affordable price would be pretty accurate. Taste-wise it doesn’t disappoint either. This restaurant is perfect for those who are looking for a tastier alternative to the usual staple fast food eateries.
Nomms sebuah restaurant di Subang Jaya, Selangor menjual ayam goreng yang begitu berair, begitu tender dan begitu sedap dengan harga yang cukup memuaskan.
Some say that LFC is the Chinese style "Nasi Kandar", the rm$12 signature dish comes with a drumstick as well as a chicken thigh, some vege on the side and lots of mixed home-made curry (tend to be on the sweet side).
The fried chicken was worth the wait, on the plate were also long beans and a fried egg and on the side curry sauce plus sambal
This is a simple dish that is done right, which I thoroughly enjoy. The food is also reasonably priced, with both the rice and chee cheong fun plates costing RM 10.80 each.
Battered shrimps and crispy calamaris are another favourite of ours. Not oily, deep fried to golden brown batter jacketing bouncy squid and prawns. Choose to have soy garlic or spicy hot coating.
4Fingers Crispy Chicken is a Singaporean chain of fast casual restaurants that specializes in crispy Korean style fried chicken. Headquartered in Singapore, the chain was founded in 2009 and currently has 13 stores in Singapore and Malaysia.
What can I say? Finger lickin’ good. Despite being fried, the chicken wasn’t greasy and you can really hear the crunch as you bite into each piece. The soy garlic sauce was excellent – sweet and salty, garlicky goodness. Polished off six pieces with no trouble. Had the rest to take home. 😀 Definitely someplace I’d come back to if I’m ever in Sunway Pyramid! 🙂
Ala carte menu - 3 drumsticks cost MYR 15+ 6% SST = MYR 15.90 nett
We ordered the 6 pcs wings combo (RM20.90), which comes with fries and drink as well as 3 pcs chicken drumstick (RM15.90). We had the wings with soy garlic glaze, and for the drumsticks, we had a mix of soy and hot. The wings were very tasty - crispy skin, with nice flavour on the meat. Hubby enjoyed the drumsticks too, juicy and meaty. We went for seaweed fries, which was nice and crispy too. We would definitely come back the next time we have craving for chicken wings.
Overall the taste comes pretty good and we love the tender juicy chicken meat which comes addictively good.
Here's the location.
Worth more a than a try and we definitely will go back more than once hehe.
Best Seller Honey Wingnette and Drummette RM22.00 is the best seller (non-spicy and easily acceptable by any age) in KyoChon. The overall fried chicken which consists of wings was crunchy and well spiced with a dulcet of honey coating, while the crust tastes do resemble one of our daily local snacks “Fried Banana (Pisang Goreng)”.
Disebabkan kami mostly memang suka pedas, so memang kami amik ayam pedas full bucket dan rasanya memang pedas berapi nasib baiklah ada ayam honey tu do dapatlah kurang pedas sikit. Ayam honey tu tak manis pon just sedap manis berlemak. Kyochon ni daripada Korea dan signature nya adalah ayam, tapi kalau nak side dishes contoh nasi pon ada. Tapi nasi macam pricey sikit starting harga untuk nasi RM3.90. So better ratah ayam saja pon dah kenyang.
Verdict? I’m thrilled to say that it did not disappoint! The flavour is almost exactly the same as Jollibee in the Philippines. Skin was deep fried to golden, crunchy perfection, meat was tender, juicy, and flavourful, and the chicken pieces were large but cooked thoroughly. There is a slight difference in spiciness level: I believe the spicy chicken here is much spicier than the Filipino version, which I think caters more to Malaysian taste buds. Gravy also tasted more peppery compared to Philippine Jollibee. But it’s not a downside (to me at least).
After how many years of not being able to go back to our home country The Philippines. We cannot explain how much excited we are hearing the news regarding this. After how many months of waiting and craving we finally able to eat our favorite food from our favorite fast food chain. Our cravings were definitely satisfied!
Overall it was a decent meal, although it was a little expensive.
At Jinjja Chicken, the Jinjja Wings is a MUST order item. Crispy skin coated with flavorful sauce, whilst succulent meat. In this case, we ordered ‘mixed’. Half portion of Soy Garlic and another half of Yangnyeom. If you can take spicy, can try to go for ‘Monster’. 3 levels of spiciness 🙂
What do We Like about bhc Chicken, One Utama? -Crispy and juicy fried chicken -Pleasant dining environment
However, the experience was a disappointment. I wouldn’t say the food is bad, just that the taste does not suit me. Although the fried chicken was huge and crispy, it was one-dimensional tasting – salty and I can think of plenty of other places that churn out better fried chicken.
I got my food in less than 3- 5 minutes after I placed my order. That was a pleasant surprise though a warning bell sounded in my head. Thankfully the chicken was hot though I have a strong hunch it was refried quickly to heat it up. Still, it tasted good – the skin was crispy and the flesh juicy. It was a bit salty (only the skin) but do keep in mind that I have low tolerance for salty food so in this aspect I’m speaking for myself.
This is comfort food and their fried chicken can give Kepci a run for money. Chicken is well marinated and season, crispy skin, tender meat and value for money, what you need anymore?
As tasty as the fried chicken might be, I wouldn’t go all the way out just to eat here. Recommended if you’re nearby though, we always buy a piece or two to share whenever we are around. Another food stall worthy of your time is the fried radish cake just further down the street.
这家位于街头的炸鸡点, 在半山芭十分吃香老实说。 比KFC更美味! 常常都排长龙喔,要吃好料, 都得给点耐心才行哦!
6pcs Wings Combo comes with the fries and drink. I choose Kimchi Fries between the plain and seaweed and mix option for the wings combo (Soy Garlic and Hot). Chicken Combo was tasty. The chicken was crispy, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Besides that, the fries goes well with the Kimchi powder. Yum!! 6pcs Wings Combo @ RM 20.90
Garlic original is a perfect choice for those who cannot handle the spice. My sister loved it while myself loved the red pepper. It goes perfectly well with the steamed rice. Tender & juicy chicken cooked in a lip smacking sauce. YUM!! 20 Mix Wings and 2 Medium Meal Upgrade @ RM 59
Despite the fact that KyoChon is doing good with multiple store openings at Johor Bahru, KyoChon At G Hotel Penang Will Be Closing Down On 14th July After Three Years.
KyoChon, the place may look big from the outside but most of the space inside is being occupied by their kitchen and leaving KyoChon with limited space for seating place.
We ordered Bulan Mulia Special Dine-in Set 2 RM59.90
Jjajang Myeon @ RM17.90 Whenever I explore a new restaurant, I always go for something that I have not tried before and this Jjajang Myeon (Sweet Korean black bean sauce noodle) is definitely on my list. They look pretty ordinary but little did I expect that they actually taste so good! Just mix the noodle well with the sauce and enjoy slurping it down the throat. The sweet and savoury flavours complement each other well and keep me craving for more!
For the signature fried chicken, you may choose either drumsticks or wings (with drummets), while for the flavour, you can pick up to two type of flavours namely Soy Garlic, Yangnyeom or Monster, depending on your preferred level of spiciness. Perfectly tender and juicy, the drumsticks were absolutely flavourful and lip-smackingly good. Not for the faint-hearted, the extra hot Monster sauce was so spicy that it's brought tears to our eyes, even for spicy food lovers like me. On the other hand, the regular spicy Yangnyeom with just the right amount of heat was perfect!
Overall I love their crispy, tender and juicy fried chicken be it any sauce it taste to good and addictive. Dining here makes me feel so hip and trendy because of the restaurant ambience, design and the k-pop music. In terms of price wise, I would say it is reasonable and comes in decent portion. If you are going with a group of friends or family be sure to order their Big Bang Set. Yes! I will go back for more monster sauce Jinjja Chicken Wings hehehhe.
