Food at Jinjja Chicken is focused on Korean street food. Think burgers, noodles, chicken wings, rice cakes, and dumplings. Quality and taste is average at best, with the main draw being their affordable prices.
I finally got to try that fire spicy flavor at Waker tonight. It obviously didn't look spicy from the outside, and actually wasn't that spicy on the inside either (basically, it wasn't that different from the big fast food chains).
This small chain of fried chicken stalls was started by a local Korean team. The name may be memorable, but sadly the chicken was not. One of those "original crispy" pieces above was very moist, but wasn't crispy, despite a long wait for them to fry it.
While specializing in Fried Chicken, their 6 pcs of chicken on the platter said it best. Their Original Fried Chicken is crispy and flavourful not to mention the Grilled Tangy Orange and Korean Spicy Sauce Coated Fried Chicken.

I would recommend the Spicy version with sliced red chillies and capsaicin sauces, which had a complex flavour β highly comforting and addictive.
It is good that Monga Fried Chicken Singpost Centre offers a dine-in option. We can now sit down and enjoy freshly cooked fried chicken when it is piping hot.
I passed by an outlet of Mengxia Jipai today and figured that I'd give it a try, as it's a chain of fried chicken cutlet stalls from Taiwan.
Taiwanese fried chicken is another option and it's amazing that there are, in fact, quite a number of stalls offering it. The original one is Shilin, then Hot Star; today, i am going to review Monga (θθΊ) which opened its first store at JEM a few months ago!

Cover by SethLui.com as a new stall. Nice crispy chicken, with the skin a bit grainy and quite an interesting texture, and the flesh a bit dry. The chilli was salty and extremely spicy, great for the masochists, but torturous for me.
