If you’re in Taiping, do take time out to visit the lake and attached park. Situated on the site of a former tin mine, it was established in the 1880s, and was apparently the first public garden in what is now Malaysia.
我来太平湖公园共三次, 但是没有一次是走完整个太平湖, 期待有一天我可以在傍晚时分来太平湖公园走走看看整个太平湖的面貌, 而不是因为猛烈的太阳而匆匆离去~
"The 64 hectares (160 acres) site was the first public garden in Malaya, and was cherished for its beauty; it has been well-maintained since its opening" .......and I must say, they are so well maintained!
