However, the experience was a disappointment. I wouldn’t say the food is bad, just that the taste does not suit me. Although the fried chicken was huge and crispy, it was one-dimensional tasting – salty and I can think of plenty of other places that churn out better fried chicken.

I got my food in less than 3- 5 minutes after I placed my order. That was a pleasant surprise though a warning bell sounded in my head. Thankfully the chicken was hot though I have a strong hunch it was refried quickly to heat it up. Still, it tasted good – the skin was crispy and the flesh juicy. It was a bit salty (only the skin) but do keep in mind that I have low tolerance for salty food so in this aspect I’m speaking for myself.

Many places do serve Sarawak Laksa but ended up serving it with the wrong noodles. This place I can say does it right. FYI for the uninitiated, Sarawak Laksa comes with vermicelli noodles rather than meehoon in a broth of 20 over spices. Kedey Kamek's basic bowl of Sarawak Laksa was pretty good without too much oil and enough spices to give it a kick. They also have other versions of seafood if prawn is not to your liking.
