Recommended by Daniel Food Diary. The lor or braising sauce had a seriously deep and meaty flavour, although retaining some lightness and balance, and complemented the noodles and ingredients well. The shredded duck meat added some texture and variation, and the ngo hiong was quite sweet and tasty.
I liked the handmade fishball studded with chilli and chives, but the fish flavour was very mild. The noodles felt like they did not have much flavour, and everything else tested average. Not bad, but not something I will come back and queue for.
Ms Lu might have been an absolute beginner when it comes to cooking, but sheโs definitely mastered the wok well enough to get a frequent stream of customers at Quan Ji Cooked Food!
Nice meaty mushroomy sauce enveloping soft bitey noodles, with fresh meat and fragrant stewed mushrooms. Feels like ็ๆๅฎๆ, even the meaty soup.
Recommended by Johor Kaki. There was a perpetual 3 to 5 person queue, but the service was quick. The wanton had a slightly thick but silky skin, covering a well marinated meat filling with sesame oil.

Really traditional old-school wanton mee. The wantons were quite generous, flavoured with soy sauce and sesame oil, and salty with tee poh I think. The skin was really smooth and silky. The firm and thin noodles had bite but were a bit stodgy and doughy though, with insufficient sauce.
