No doubt that Mr & Mrs Mohgan Prata is popular and known for its crispiness, but I find that there are still better Prata around. Nonetheless, the service rendered is friendly and I do not mind making a return trip to Joo Chiat if my friends are keen on it.
It has been awhile since I had Mr and Mrs Moghan’s Prata. In fact the last time was at their old location at Crane Rd. Now at Tin Yeang Coffee Shop on the corner of Joo Chiat Rd and Dunman Rd, it was time I visited again.
After trying Mr and Mrs Mohgan Super Crispy Roti Prata, what stood out most for me was how fresh the prata tasted – you could tell they had just came off the stove.

i bought a S$5 nasi padang chicken thigh from a stall side vendor no queue. it was good enough though the gravy was a bit too sweet.
Their insistence on making the dough daily reveals their dedication to serving their loyal customers simple but great prata.
I’ll be back to see what else they have up their sleeves!

We had curried tripe - a curry that was rich and flavourful with coconut. That gravy was awesome with rice.
Alwadi at Geylang Serai is one of the best places to eat tasty Malay and Indian Muslim food; and also where you can get the famous Haig Road Putu Piring.
