The pastas are undoubtedly the strongest dishes on the menu, but the rest of the menu is no slouch either. Take a look at the menu for yourself, but trust me, gather some mates, make a reservation, indulge and you thank me later.

Overall, it was a truly satisfying dining experience for us! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We particularly enjoyed watching Chef Chu and the kitchen staff in action from our bar seats.

I just had probably the worst Italian meal in my life at Antonio’s Trattori Calabria. You know how sometimes you walk into a restaurant the vibe doesn’t feel right immediately? It was exactly like that here.

Delicious, Linguini Alla Modi Rosa, seafood baked in foil, an Italian Cartocci style dish. I could eat this and leave happy. Easily my favourite dish of the meal. RM55.

Recently opened at Glo Damansara Mall is Modi & Rosa, the brainchild of Cavaliere Modesto Marini. The name of the restaurant combines a piece of his own name with that of his wife, the rose of his world.

It was one of those rare Saturday nights when I had nothing on, no parties to attend, and the kids were free as well (usually they hang out with their cousins on Saturday night), so I thought I'd use the Entertainer App and scour around for good deals. The kids had chosen "Italian" as the cuisine of choice for the night, and one of the search results was Livello Uno in TTDI. I knew I'd seen the name somewhere, I just couldn't place it. When I searched the net, lo and behold, it turns out that it's actually been a place I've been meaning to check out, BECAUSE the Chef, is my Instapal, ie, Instagram friend (the modern day equivalent of a penpal I guess), Chef Mashad Pino, who is a celebrity chef who appears in quite a lot of places. So the decision was made, and off to TTDI the troops went.

Overall, it was a good dinner. The foods was delicious, just needs some improvement on the beverage (Coffee). Second Visit? Sure to try other things in the menu.

Food was decent and good value for money. The pasta was okay. I generally like my pesto pasta thick and creamy, which was not the case here. No big deal though, cant always have it your way, right? This was a simple dish. It was suppose to be vegetarian but we decided to add some chicken into the mix (Chicken add on for 5 ringgit). I had one issue with this dish and that was that they was NO pine nuts. In the Menu, it was specifically written (Basil and pine nuts in olive oil). Yea, where were the pine nuts? There wasn’t any on my plate. Why why?
