The sushi is pretty good, soft and melt in the mouth. The beef teppanyaki taste good with no strong smell, my wife approved. This place seems to be a neighbourhood favourite, and reservation is..
Verdict If you are looking for finest quality of Japanese cuisine at a very reasonable price in a casual settings, Jyu Raku at SS15 Subang Jaya will be the best choice. Not to forget that the fresh cut of every sashimi is fresh and big cut. Don't believe? Try out yourself.
The sashimi platter has the best to offer in terms of taste, smell and texture.
The beed slices don came with rice and an egg on top. The taste was ok, nothing spectacular.
I also ordered salmon fried rice at MYR 9++ (MYR 10.44 nett) which I kept most of the rice. So my lunch costs MYR 34.80 nett which is much more than my friend's set lunch so next time it is more prudent to order the set lunch.
冲着这里的现烤鲭鱼,我应该会再次光顾。但是鲭鱼单点有点贵,午市套餐的价格比较划算,而且份量超大的呢!
Visit Fujiwara Toufu Shop to experience Initial D and AE86 #initiald #头文字d
Initial D themed shop. Food is fairly good, service is okay.
Not forgetting my favourite fried shimeji mushrooms, served with a small dollop of Japanese-style mayonnaise. The batter was perfectly crispy and salty, but the mushrooms retained their moistness on the inside.
Beer, Wifi, Pork Free, Paid Mall Parking available
My main course was 炙三味 Aburi Zanmai & 调味香菇寿司 Ajitsuke Shiitake, not the best but I enjoyed it. The Tempura Soba and Karaage Rice was also just OK!
According to its website, Tonkatsu by Ma Maison was founded by Akinori Terazawa in Tokyo, Japan back in 1976. It has about 16 outlets in Japan, overseas venture in Singapore in Malaysia's Klang Valley.
The DX “Mameton” Set (DXまめ豚定食) RM53.90 is the signature combo dish in Ma Maison. This set comes with Pork Loin, Jumbo Prawn, Steam Rice, Miso Soup, and Radish Pickles truly will bring diners a pure satisfaction on having each cut from any meat parts. Delectable Pork Loin tastes scrumptious with a dip of tartar and mustard sauce, easy to chew and gets melting on each bite. A little bit disappointed with the Jumbo Prawn (tiny prawn in disguise uses a very thick batter to cover up) but the overall taste still delicious.
Dining experience here is wonderful with good service, and private rooms, or at the sushi bar. Price wise medium and above but with an extensive Japanese menu choice, there is something for everyone.
People say it use to be good but recently their quality & standard has rolling down the terrain .
Here's the location.
This is a very simple and authentic Japanese meal worth taking a detour for.
The take-away Sushi were all made fresh made-to-order, and was good even for take-away, nice!
Sanma is one of the most prominent seasonal foods representing autumn in Japanese cuisine and is usally grilled with salt.
Ordered the Chuka Kurage to be mixed with the Sashimi Salad, Interesting combination! Not bad, not too good, its a choice I made.
Since I don't bake, I am now hooked on the chiffon cakes by RT Pastry because of their soft and light texture and affordable price. When I went to buy the 4th cake, I also bought some buns.
Hoshino's specialty is its hand-dripped coffee but for the new year, I am sampling the expensive rm$20+ "水果咖啡 Fruit Coffee", at the end, not too sure about Coffee + Orange!
My order: Salmon with Wasabi Cream Sauce Pasta - MYR 25.52++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 29.60 nett which is the price listed on the menu). The pasta is al dente which is what most people prefer while I like softer pasta. The sauce is indeed very, very creamy so before I get satiated, I kept half the pasta for another meal. The slices of salmon are about half a cm thick each so the portion is not that much.
This is one place worth re-visiting, perhaps even for their Sake next time and other selections of beer both in draft and bottles.
“黑暗中的一点光” GUĀNG - Dine•Sake•Belong is a 日式时尚酒吧 Japanese Lifestyle and Fusion restaurant & bar, offering wide premium range of Sake & Beer, an extensive menu of East and West plus yummy variety of beer bites; not forgetting daily Live band till late in the night.
Attracted by the name- Chi Ma Ken, we ordered them and we are really surprised of the outcome. The deep fried chicken which is drenched with the creamy cheese comes simply good and delicious. Addictive !
The overall first time experience is a positive one.
Verdict: Food here certainly exceed expectations for the price paid. If you’re looking for decent Japanese meal without burning a hole in your pocket, Stacks definitely your ideal option! I wish they can open an outlet nearer to me…… (^.^)/
The Ebi Tempura Cha Soba for dinner wasn't too bad, nor great. The restaurant was empty at 7pm this evening!
For those who which to eat affordable yet quality sushi, don’t hesitate to pay a visit at here as it is really worth the price and save your wallet from being injured badly. :D
Seriously. Where can you find salmon sashimi at RM3 for 3 fine slices? どこ?どこ? (doko? doko? Where? Where?) At Sushi Flash. It’s the new sushi place in SS15, Subang Jaya, located on the same ro…
As for Kinpachi bento, it came with many stuffs in small portion, such as saba, sashimi, tempura prawn, tonkatsu, tofu, miso soup, etc. The variety within the set made it fulfilling and satisfying.
Was out of luck today as I was actually here at Subang Parade for the debut of "Farmer's Bar" but unfortunately it was still in renovation and it will have to be at least after Christmas or in January next year!
However the standard menu's Sachi Sushi set is too ordinary for me to say any good things about it.
Although, there really aren't too many surprises of creativity nor presentation, but overall every item is an enjoyable one to the palates.
This is the sumibiyaki ribeye (300g). The menu says it is grilled over charcoal and seasoned with special mixed sauced, served with chef’s selected sauce. Very vague description but luckily it turned out better than anticipated. If I were to describe it I would say it’s served with a side of garlic crisps, sea salt, dried chili flakes and chef’s special sauce (which tasted like mustard to me). The meat went well with the salt and dried chili flakes but it’s not tender enough. Is it because it’s Australian and not Wagyu? That shouldn’t be the case in any matter.
USJ9's "Sushi ZenS" is very popular, average waiting time for take-away is at least 30 - 45 minutes.
Bento sets are mostly just chicken and seafood with prices from rm$15+ to rm$25+.
