Chicken Katsudon. The onion wasn't too strong so it was a nice touch with the deep fried breaded chicken cutlet and steamed egg. Very homely though not something I'd be able to replicate at home (at all).
Final Verdict: 7.5/10. Despite it's busy lunch crowd and the shorthanded circumstance on staffing due to a wide area coverage, I still wish the service would be better even from their busy period. But I did manage to experience their good service after the lunch crowd had left and left me to be pampered with scores of Green Tea refill without the need for me to ask.
First time here and really amazed by the beautiful fountain and the light. When the night is here, everything in here seems to be more lively. We are here for dinner with friends, since I have not been eaten Japanese Cuisine. So we decided to eat Rakuzen! Here are some dishes that we order!
Being the only more respectable Japanese restaurant in this mall certainly has its perks. As the restaurant is fairly small, the waiting line is understandably long during dinner hours. Do you prefer to pick your sushi off the kaiten belt or made to your order? I do prefer the belt but the latter guarantees the food is freshly made (sometimes). While their prices is still relatively affordable, the portion size has indeed shrunk. But at least the quality is still top notch.
Their food is always up to mark and even exceeds it for the price I pay. The ingredients were always fresh.
The overall bill? Cheaper than expected and without the GST, what an eat!
The experiences have been good in terms of services and the quality of the food serve esp when freshness is the key.
efinitely very good Ramen offered by Menzo, superb pork broth.
The broth was thick and dense with many suspended food particles of various kinds.
